Complaint

Well here's the case. Someone complaint bout one of the instructor yesterday, claiming that the instructor called him names. So this instructor was walking down the stairs after the class when this member approaches him saying that the club manager wanted to see him.

The club manager said that this member complaint to him, that the instructor called him Uncle Peter and Cheeky during his class. What's wrong with Uncle Peter? And he didn't remembered calling him Chicky either. What the hell does Cheeky means anyway? He requested for an apology but the instructor didn't found anything wrong with what he did and rejected his request. So the club manager gave the member a choice to file a complaint and he did.

But the instructor did claimed that he can show the member, the proof of him (the member) harassing young girls in the gym by sending them sms-es. The member had some history of picking up girls in the gym and even tried it with one of my friend.

Then this morning, the instructor had a message from one of the member who coincidentally had the same case as this Uncle Peter. He said that Uncle Peter was still very upset of the incident and customer is always right. FYI, this other member tried to pick on one of the female instructor in the gym. But for sure, he failed.

What a whole lot of BS. Like the instructor said, you can't satisfy all the members need and for sure some will get ignored and try to get them down. Damn, I sounded like one of those gutterpost blog man. lol~! Sorry I can't disclose the names in here as it's a bit sensitive but I guess you all know who I am talking about right?

I'm On Holiday

Yes, today's my first day of my leave. What the hell I did today? Paid my bills, banking, lunch with friend and watched whole lotta movies at home. It was a raining afternoon and it's best stayed at home watching some chop and slice movies. Went for gym tonight as usual and LP was the only one there. Ann, QQ and KNSQ was there too. We continued with K-Bear's pump class. Damn it was super hard for me tonight. During minum session with Master C, I heard some news. Well I am not sure if it's appropriate to write in here. Will update the incident here later this morning after having the green light. Had a long minum session with Master C and called it a 'morning' around 1am. lol~!

Relaxing Sunday

It was a very relaxing Sunday for me today. As I decided to skipped gym this morning. Well I slept around 4.30am this morning so I don't think I can make it for gym later on. lol~! Anyway, had lunch with my brother's family and we went to 1Utama for a walk. Saw something cute and thought of taking it down to show at someone. Yes, it's Carebears. A lot of carebears. They have small, medium, large and extra large dolls. I like the one with the twin heart in his chest. Thought of getting one for my girl to hang on his new bag I bought her. Matching hearts figure. hehe~! Went home and catch some movies before going to USJ to meet with SOS for dinner. Suggested to look for CP for supper as I am sending my girl back BKT. So off we go for supper and we called it a night around 11.30pm as LP need to work tomorrow. Yes, BQ and me are on holiday for the whole week. lol~! Hor Mia People~!!!

Granma's Kitchen - Damansara Utama

OK as promised, I had went over to this place called Granma's Kitchen and have a try of their food. Their concept are more towards family dishes rather than single dish. So it's not that ideal if I wanted to have lunch over at this place. As the varieties isn't that much compared to Asia Food across the street. But anyhow its comfy and nice for family and friends to dine in. So I had browsed through their menu and decided to tried their Tom Yam Fried Rice. They asked if I wanted to add an egg. So I say why not. And this is what I got. Plain simple fried rice with egg on top. Wasn't as fancy as I imagine it would be. Taste was normal. Had to add a lot of chilly on it. The price wasn't that cheap also.Romiko had ordered their Vege-Dumpling Noodle Soup. The dumpling was quite large but the taste of the soup was a bit like maggie with MSG to me. Maybe cause I don't fancy soup noodle that much. Remembered someone told me their Siow Long Bao was nice, so I had ordered it as a side dish. Well not bad but it's definitely uncomparable with Dragon-I. lol~! It's not cheap also but not bad. (RM 7.90 for 5pcs)
All together the place do serve nice food but maybe my expectation was too high as I was recommended by someone whose similar to me, like to eat a lot. Maybe their other dishes taste better. It's a good place for dinner but not a good place for a quikc lunch. Well I don't know but need to try. Will I be back? Only if someone is buying me dinner though. lol~! (Rating: 3.5 out of 5.0)

Drunken Night

So we decided to have our dinner at BKT last night. David was there with us but had to part as he got guest at home. So we continued to SOS house after a long discussion. A long the way to her house, we realized that the Qs (BQ, KNSQ and QQ) were missing. Something fishy is going on here. We're right, they went out to bought some beers. The objective that night? Get the other birthday girl, LP drunk. lol~!
So the girls continued with their drinking session inside while the guys stays outside talking. When we went back in, all the girls faces were RED. Well especially the birthday girl, LP. I think she drank like one glass and the whole face turned RED. She's not drunk but at least it's half way there. lol~! We drank till around 1.30am and called it a night as KNSQ was stone together with LP. What a night we all had, we at least the girls had a lot of fun that night. haha~! Happy Birthday again to LP and QQ.

HappY BirthDay LP & QQ

Just wanna wish two of my best girls LP and QQ a wonderful Happy Birthday. May all your wishes comes true and stay pretty AND simple forever. See both of you tonight.

Butterfly In My Tummy

Before the first class ended yesterday, my tummy was giving me some problem. I drank too much water maybe. So continuing the second class by K-Bear was really uncomfortable for me. As I don't have much mood doing it. Hence the blank face again. lol~! Anyway, since I requested some tracks for the Body Combat, I need to atleast give me

  1. Apache Rock Bottom / Somebody Told Me
  2. Kickin Hard
  3. Angel Eyes
  4. This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arm Race
  5. Don't Stop The Beat
  6. Leave Me Alone
  7. I Don't Need Anybody
  8. Heaven
  9. Sound of The Underground
  10. No One
After the class I heard something funny from LP that make Ann's face turn red and left the gym. Another SOS moment to remember. lol~! Later we all went for minum as usual at Asia Cafe to discuss today's venue. At the end we decided to go Klang for steamboat. Settled~!

My Last Day

Today is my last day at my current company. I had cleared most of the stuff on my side. It's always not easy to say goodbye although the period I spent here is not as long compared to my previous companies. But we're all human, we're bond with emotions. Colleagues becomes friends and I do hope the best for my man. My HR told me to take leave on next Monday and Tuesday. So I am off most probably for the whole week. Yes, a long holiday for me to refresh myself before the new challenge I will be facing after Raya. It's corny but this is true, On every end, there's another new beginning. Life goes on.

Pre-Raya cum Farewell Dinner

My company had planned a dinner last night at Kota Permai Resort for our company's Pre-Raya cum farewell dinner for me. The dinner was actually a Buka Puasa Buffet. Well not bad. But the food wasn't refilled at all on the table. Weird. Variety of foods was just alright, not too much. But they do have all you can eat Char Kuey Teow and Grilled Lamb. Nice~! There's Nasri Kerabu, Curry Mee, Roti Canai, Mutton, Beef and lots more. The price per head as was actually RM45 but since my HR was a member so there's 20% discount. So the whole dinner cost only RM270 for 10 pax. We all took pictures after the dinner and bit farewell around 9pm. Super full~!!!

I BTC, I dunno Chinese ler~~~

What the hell, my boss passed me an instruction manual for me to translate before I left (this current company) this Friday. He expected me to be able to pass to him tomorrow. The instruction manual is in English and he wanted me to translate it into Traditional Chinese. WTF!!! I know them (Chinese words) but they don't know me ler~~!!! I'd already told him earlier in the meeting but he just gave me a smile and told me to try my best. What in the hell does that mean? Do my best? Which part of 'I don't read and write Chinese' which he don't understand?

He's up North for these two days and expect me to do this while he's gone. WTF~!!! Class assignment??? This is not high school or college. I don't do translation. Oh my gosh~! Head spinning and time slipping. Miraculously I managed to translate quarter of the manual. What the heck, he told me to try my best and not necessarily to translate the whole book. So just turn whatever in that I finish tonight to him. Stupid stupid stupid~!!!!

Asian Food House - Damansara Utama

Stumble upon this place while I was driving through the square looking for a place for lunch this week. The place was quite nicely decorated with a mixture of Japanese and Taiwan decorations. Since it was a hot day and the place was air condition, well why not?For the first day we had ordered their Famous Beef Noodle. My friend got the beef scent when she step into the place. So it should be good. And good was the dish really turned out to be. The portion was just nice and the there's a lot of beef too. The beef was really tender and not too hard. Soup was also nice. (RM8.90)For me, I had ordered their Fried Teppanyaki Chicken set. The set as shown above comes with a soup and also some side dishes (stewed egg and bean curd) and vegetables. The chicken was alright. The rice is Japanese rice and not the normal rice. So the dish was quite filling too. (RM8.90)Since it was that good on the first day, we came back for second the next day. This time around we wanted to try their snacks. So we had ordered this Crispy Chicken. As the name goes, the chicken was really crispy as it mixed with some chicken skin to fried. Quite nice. (RM6.60)
Next we ordered their Stewed Pork Set. It was really nice as the pork was really tender and soft. The sauce was just nice, not too sweet. The pork is a mixture of thin and fat which is the best combination of stewed pork. (RM8.90)As for me, I had ordered their Lemon Grass Chicken Set. For this set, they specifically told me that I needed to wait for 15 minutes as they need to marinate the chicken and fried it fresh. And it's quite well worth the wait. The chicken was just nice and not to salty. My set comes with the same side dish as the previous one. (RM9.90)
Not bad for a lunch which normally cost the same for me. Service was good and it's air condition like I mentioned. They do served Korean Kimchi dishes, Japanese and bubble tea too. But I heard that I can get cheaper from another shop nearby called Granny Shop or some sort. So it's my next destination next week. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)

Master C in Subang

Tonight's class was quite special as Delon was replacing and not Eugene. I was quite OK after the first two back to back classes. We had some nice tracks this evening.

After class we had minum session but I had suggested somewhere else other than Canai 15, so it's Darul Salam tonight. Guess who decided to pop up? Master C from Manulife. Had a long chat and went back around midnight. Damn need to wash my clothes somemore.

Master Combat Class @ The Curve

Yes, it was a special rare occasion where both Master T and Master C was teaching tonight. Yes, it's been years since they both instruct together on the same stage. So it's some sort of a treat for us all too. It was a surprised for the birthday girl, Wanie. Most of the combat fanatics were there in full flange. I was informed earlier that Master T was gonna tt with Master C so I did some requests earlier on. Well ok, I requested the whole tracks. lol~! Master T was doing the first half while Master C was doing the second. The whole gang (me, MD, BQ, QQ, KNSQ, Ann, Cindy, Wanie, Jac and T.J) got the whole centre stage tonight. Yes, we managed to beat that Malay guy tonight. lol~! So here's the playlist:-

  1. Angels
  2. Final Countdown
  3. Addicted to Love
  4. Tribal Dance
  5. Hymn
  6. U & Ur Hand
  7. Hardcore Paradise
  8. Heartbeat
  9. Here I Come
  10. Feuer Frei
Yes, most of it was the instructor's favorite tracks and we managed to make Master C shake his ass for track 3. What a rare sight. lol~! After the final track we brought out the cake and sang the birthday song to the birthday girl. Thanx again Master C for the Chocolate Cake. Went for supper at Little Penang till they close shop and continued our session at Starbucks. What a long session we had tonight.

Massive Migraine

I woke up this morning with this massive migraine. I am not sure what happened well maybe it's due to the lack of sleep during this weekend. What a long weekend I had, with the late Friday minum session and early wake up call for Master T's entourage the next morning. I had less than 5 hours sleep that morning. Finished off the wedding that night and had a short engagement after the dinner. But managed to catch up on my sleep this morning.

But like they said, you can't compensate one night sleep even with one whole long week off sleeping. This stupid pain I am having on my forehead is damn annoying and distracting. Hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow or I'll be one grumpy guy tomorrow.

Master T Wedding Day

It was the D-Day for Master T and Jac last Saturday. I was part of the community members which make sure everything was running smoothly according to the plan. The Heng Tai which all dress in Pink arrived in the hotel and were given several task by the Chee Muis. We were required to eat some chocolate which looks like shit on a diaper, drink some super sour and bitter drinks, wasabi with small chilly and some waxing too. At the end, we managed to see the bride and we all get prepared for that night's rehearsal. The night went smoothly and all of us enjoyed ourselves that night. The whole BKLTL members were there. It's really a nice gathering for us all. BQ was sexy and LP was pretty too. And I got the picture to prove it. haha~! Please check out my FB for the complete picture list. It's too much to be place in here. KNSQ was really a pretty bride's maid that day too. My girl Romiko was super lovely that night too. Got home and slept around 3am. What a long day.

Welcome Back K-Bear

Sorry for the late update as I was really tired last Friday after the class and a late late supper with the gang. I dispersed around 1am that day. And to make matter worst I need to be at Master T's house by 7.30am later that morning for his entourage of Heng Tai. Just wanted to say, Welcome Back K-Bear and thanx for getting me the mug. For those who are curious the difference size and shape of the mug, please see below picture.OK now here's the playlist for that night. It's a tiring Pump and Combat class but we all had fun with the class babe.

  1. Think About The Way
  2. The United Vibe
  3. Piece of Heaven
  4. Tribal Dance
  5. Power of Love
  6. Vogue
  7. Shake
  8. Back In The U.K
  9. Let's Get It Started
  10. Noone

Shaking Arms

My legs and arms was shaking during the chaturanga stance in Yoga class tonight. It was due to last Tuesday pump class. But managed to finished off the class and continued with Alvin's replacement class. Class was OK and he requested for a non stop class, so we accepted the challenge and finished all the tracks in one piece. Well most of us did. lol~!

  1. If I Were You
  2. The Roof Is On Fire
  3. Addicted To Love
  4. Rock Me Amadeus
  5. Hymn
  6. Behind The Cow
  7. Hardcore Paradise
  8. Now Is The Time
  9. We Are Family
  10. World In Union 95
Yes, it was some crazy tracks and we did Behind The Cow for 3 classes in a row by three different instructors. How Deja Vu can you get? So K-Bear, for tomorrow's class, please take note. lol~! The weather was so hot today that I was dripping in my sweat during minum session. Damn, let it rain tonight~!

Haloween

I had watched a movie yesterday and realized that there's a lot of screwed up people in this world. Although it's just a make believe or fictional, but I believe there are people like Michael Myers in this world. Who is this Michael Myers? Well he's the psychopath killer in the movie Halloween. His teenage life was so twisted and screwed up that at an age of ten he killed his whole family.

Yes, it really portrays how sick the society could turn somebody at an age so young into a senseless cold blooded murderer. Is the movie good? Well it's a remake of the original Halloween by John Carpenter back in 1978. Not bad for a remake. Yes, it's another slash and cut movie with the chicks in the movie naked getting killed at the end and whole lotta screaming through out the movie. FYI, this is the 9th movie of the same title. Yes, you heard me right, it's the 9th episode. But this episode focus more on Michael's psychology. Now bad for a weekend movie with friends.

I Need My Honey

Damn after the steamboat session I had yesterday night, I had this major sore throat early this morning. Should have stayed away from the extra spicy chilly paste but my head get the best of me at the end. So here I am at home sitting in front of my PC with this extreme sore throat. I need honey, sweet sweet soothing honey to ease my throat. OK, maybe I need to get my lazy ass off this chair and to the kitchen to goggle some salt water for starters. Arghh~~~

I Need More Workout??

It was a boring night for me tonight as I forgot that Brian's not teaching tonight. So I walked around Subang Parade waiting for the next class to start. Sue's class was the highlight of my whole night. I was really putting in some weights tonight as I thought that I am not doing enough pump classes nowadays. Eugene was replacing Master T class tonight. I Was damn tired during the whole class. No strength to punch or kick. Maybe too much push ups from the previous class. Damn I am working my ass off tonight.

SOS be joining the Balance class so I guess I make a run for it tonight. Got a call from an old friend asking for makan. Lucky~! Drove down to Happy Garden and have steamboat with Aldred and Ken. Catch up on each others life and careers. Damn nice pork balls I had tonight. lol~! They said I loss a lot of weight and need to gain back some. For real??

Warm up: 5kg, Squat: 17.5kg; Chest: 8.5kg; Back: 11kg; Triceps: 5kg; Biceps: 5kg

Latest Happening in Our Beloved Country #2

916. Are we having a new government today? AI said he's gonna take over the current government while our PM beg to differ. Some said that 's just a gimmick or for show for AI's allies. Maybe he meant 916 next year? So we will just have to see what is the outcome of today's Parliamentary meeting then. Fingers cross~!!

So what's on the paper this morning, the center of attention now leads to
De facto Law Minister Senator Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, who tendered in his resignation letter yesterday but was rejected by our PM. His action received some supports from some quarters while some from South had criticised him for questioning the government's decision. Another political act? Well someone seemed to think so.

RPK and another Seputeh MP still detained under the ISA. Our country really controls what they feed into our head with the news that we read on the papers. But once someone wrote something which is not to their desire, they got arrested. And if the law can't charged them, they just placed him under the ISA law. For those whose not familiar with ISA, it means that the police can detained you for indefinite period without giving you a fair trial on court. The label you as a threat to the country's stability and also security. Scary~!

We will be able to buy petrol using our MYKad soon around November this year. Petrol station involved in this project are BHP, Caltex and Shell. But you need to open an account under EON Bank to get this service. Damn~! Not another bank account. They might as well implement this on all local but not foreign banks to ease the consumer. There will also be a one time RM6 registration fees. And Bank Negara will give 15cents rebate per litre up to 150litres a month as a test. We will see how this one goes.

And for those who doesn't know, today, 16 Sept marks
the 45th anniversary of the formation of Malaysia. But sadly to say our nation are now distracted and disturbed by news on government change through MP crossovers, ISA arrests, economic burden and security worries.

To buy or not to buy?

I was thinking whether to get another policy for myself or not these days. I had already paying installment for my ING which I bought few years back. There's a Prudential agent which came to talked with me on their plan and it's quite interesting and this time around I am more aware of what I am getting. As for my ING, I had found out that I am under-insured and over paying it. So the question is, do I still continue with the policy and get another new one? Or should I stop the ING and get a new one which is cheaper and more better coverage? (yes, it sounded like a Telco ad). Would be meeting both the agent from Prudential and AIA tomorrow. So will see how it goes.

And here's tonight's run down of the Body Combat playlist:-

  1. Thank You / Smells Like Teen Spirit
  2. Thnx Fr The Memories
  3. Calling From Tokyo
  4. Zombie
  5. Elevator
  6. Behind The Cow
  7. We Rock
  8. Back In The U.K
  9. Dance Floor Anthem (by request~!)
  10. What Have You Done
Something funny happened tonight, and we were introduced to some chick name Alistyre? I can't remembered the correct spelling but it sound like something like that. MD, I think you are quite well know at The Curve after tonight thanx to Master C. lol~!!!

PS: Yes, my 300th posts~!

Cosplay Anyone?

I had lunch today at Pyramid and I saw something, well we saw something quite interesting, Cosplay. Well I am familiar with this term but LP and BQ was quite startled when they saw some cosplayer in the place that we had lunch. For those who don't get what I am talking about. Well cosplay is a short word for Costume Play. It is a type of performance art whose participants outfit themselves, with often-elaborate costumes and accessories, as a specific character. OK, it's someone who dress up as some character from comics, manga, anime, video games and even fantasy movie.

We don't see that much in Malaysia as it's not that popular around this region. But it's really common to see a cosplayer in Japan walking up and down the street. Well maybe we Malaysian still can't accept a person dressing up in costumes and heavy make ups. They might look different but as long as they are comfortable with that, I don't have the right to judge them anyway. Saw a lot on Sg.Wang and surprised to saw them here in Sunway.

Sunway Resort Convention Centre - Sunway

This is my first visit to the Sunway Convention Centre for my friend's wedding dinner. I don't have high expectation for hotel food but I was quite satisfied with their food and also service overhere.
The service was something to brag about too. As the waiters were foreigner workers but they are very professional and very fast to changed and clean the table for us. It's really a nice place to held your dinner but we did encountered the management staff and had some minor arguments with them on some preparation of the main entrance. But nevertheless the food was good.
The first dish was the Sunway Golden Four Season Platter. The top was the Peking Duck Rolls, bottom was the abalone, right was the prawn paste and the left was some sort of Yam pudding. The dish was not bad. There were only 6 people in my table and we managed to finished almost all the dishes. This is the Golden Shark's Fin Soup with Fungus, Crab Meat and Roe. You can really see a lot of shark fin and even in some large pieces inside the soup. Really a nice dish. And it's not that starch too. I had 5 bowls of this. lol~!

The third was the Steamed River Patin with Crispy Minced Ginger and Garlic n Soya Sauce. One of the best dish of the night but I didn't managed to take a picture as I was on stage at that time. But I did managed to eat a lot of the fish as it's really fresh and the meat was really soft and the sauce was just nice. Nothing was left when the cleared the plate. lol~!
Next comes the Roasted Indonesian Style Chicken with Prawn Crackers. This was the first time I had this type of chicken in a wedding. And it didn't disappoints me. It's some sort of roasted rendang chicken and the taste of rendang sauce on the chicken was really nice and different. We finished the whole plate too. Wok Fried Tiger Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk. Another good dish on the table. I ate almost 8 pieces of prawn alone that night. For those who knows me, I don't really fancy taking off the shells but it was that nice that I go the extra mile. But we didn't managed to finished it off as it was too much for the 6 of us.
Next was the Stewed Two Variety Mushroom with Fresh Bean Curd. This dish wasn't that bad either. The dish was still warm when they brought it in and the sauce was really nice together with the mushrooms and bean curd. How can a wedding dinner without fried rice. So here's the Golden Fried Rice with Garlic and Roasted Duck. Atleast it wasn't some glutinous rice that other dinner offered. It wasn't that bad either, as the rice was soft and hot. There are a lot of small crunchy anchovies on top of it.
Here's the first dessert of the night. This is not something you see every night. Well for me atleast. It's called Chilled Mangoes Cream with Sago and Vanilla Ice Cream. The dessert was quite creamy but just nice. There's a big block of vanilla ice cream to go with it. Sweet~!
Last but not least, the Baked Lotus Flower Puff and Snow Skin Golden Fish. This was just part of the dish which I took out. Yes, the fish on the left was filled with peanuts and the flower was filled with lotus paste. The fish was cold and the flower was hot, nice combination. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)

My Fren Chany's Wedding

It was around 7.30 when I arrived at my friend Chany's home. Yesterday was his wedding day and I am part of his entourage to the bride's house. We arrived at Sunway around 9am to picked up the bride. But not going through some crazy games that the Chee Mui had installed for us. As the entourage I was designated for the physical work. So I had completed the 50 push ups in one go on behalf of the groom. Going to gym frequent do help a lot on this. lol~! Ate some wasabi filled buns and sang some songs. Nothing wild and crazy atleast. As I am the emcee for the night, I need to get prepared for the rehearsal for the night. But it's not a problem for me as it's not the first time I am giving a speech for such a large crowd. hehehe!!! The night started at 8pm and the food was superb. I don't have much faith in hotel food but this place really changed my perception. The whole dinner settled at around 11pm. Yes, it was that long but it was a good one. I need to travel back and forth as I need to go on stage for the speech and all but it was all right. I took a lot of photograph with my collegemates as some came back from as far as Taiwan to attend this wedding. And as you know there is a typhoon overthere at this time. It was a nice wedding dinner and gathering for us all.

Riverview Seafood - Klang

The group had decided to have a makan session last Friday as we're not going to gym that night. So at the end we decided to eat at this place called Riverview Seafood in Klang. You really have to drive into the estate jungle to find this place and it's around 5km from the main road.
For the first dish we had ordered their Fried Mee Hoon with Lala. Well it looks good and it tasted not bad either. So we thought that the rest should be the same.
So the next dish was the Fried Calamari. The calamari was OK but we requested some special sauce for the dipping compared to the normal chilly sauce that we eat at home. But sadly they don't have and we have to stick with the sauce.
Thirdly was the vegetable. It was one of the highlight of the night as it's really crunchy and fresh. But at the end of the dish we found some undissolved starch with some of the vegetable which was quite gross. Next was the Fried Mantis Prawn in Butter Milk. Well it looks nice when they present it. But the mantis prawn was really loose and the only reason was that they had stored the prawn in cold storage for some time. Hence the meat not that packed and crunchy. There wasn't any butter scent or smell in the dish too. So it's quite disappointing at the end for all of us.
This is the Salted Chicken in Claypot. The taste in reality was totally the opposite of the name of the dish. It's not even salty and there wasn't much taste in the chicken either. Was a let down. Finally the main dish which was the Kam Heong Crab (1KG). This is the first time that encountered such experience eating crab where the meat was too soft like fish. So it lost the texture of a crab meat should have. We had all speculated why is it this way. Not fresh? Cannot be, as the whole dish will stink if it so. Over cooked? Under cooked?

All together the whole dinner was quite disappointing as we're not that full but there are food left on the table. This was one of the first time that we couldn't finished off the crab. The whole meal cost us RM117. A bit expensive for me for the poor quality of the food. (Rating: 3.0 out of 5.0)

Miscommunication or ???

Didn't make it for Yoga class today as I had some last minute engagement to take care of. Master T not teaching tonight and Delon was replacing. Saw the playlist and requested some tracks to be changed. As I don't feel like doing Jump for Track 4. Class was moderate and not that packed. Jus

  1. Amazed / Tick Tick Boom
  2. Born To Be Wild
  3. Angel Eyes
  4. Tribal Dance
  5. Elevator
  6. Bring The Noise
  7. Party Non Stop
  8. Good To Me
  9. I Believe In A Thing Called Love & Switch (Yes, we did a combo tonight!)
  10. World In Union 95
Finished the class and went for minum as usual. Some miscommunication or rather someone heard wrong of the venue and ended up ordering the drinks alone. What do we learnt tonight? 'You can be clever, but don't act clever'. lol~! Just joking~!!!

Pick n Brew - Glenmarie Shah Alam (2nd Visit)

This is my second attempt at Pick n Brew. Well not to say attempt but rather luck. lol~! I was there exactly 6 months ago. See here. This time around I am determine to try out their food and house coffee. Since someone is buying me lunch today, just makan la. lol~!

I had ordered their Penne Carbonara served with beef bacon. I can't changed the pasta so might as well just go with it. I don't fancy penne that much but no choice. Surprisingly the pasta wasn't that bad. In fact it's quite nice and decent. Presentation wise, above average. (RM18)

They even gave me the mozarella cheese separately. This is good as I can add as much as I like. Well OK, I added all into the pasta at the end.

My friend tried the pasta before so she ordered their Nasi Kerabu which is authentic Malay rice salad served with chili lemongrass chicken and crackers. Seemed nice and I saw quite a few people ordered this dish. They sered the chicken with Satey's sauce on top. For me it's just OK. But then again we don't really expect authentic Malay food in here do we?! (RM17)

Before going into the coffee, let me introduce what they served overthere. They have Colombia, Brazil, Kenya, Sumatra and Indonesia coffee. Which then divided into three category of Vibrant, Inspirational and Passionate. I've choose Infinitude (Passionate) which is basically a mixture of Kenya + Brazil + Colombia coffee. It's a balanced cup of nutty aroma complemented with notes of wine and chocolate. Can't really tell the difference from the coffee I had from Starbuck but it smells good. Sushi Zanmai - 1Utama

Wanted to try out this place for quite some time but seemed that the place was always packed and a long queue during the weekends. So I was determined to go over today during lunch with a friend to try out luck. Yes, there's no queue but the place is full. Lucky~! The place I am talking about is called Sushi Zanmai at 1Utama.Don't ask me the name of the below sushi as there wasn't any name on it. We just grab whatever we wishes on the belt. Their price ranges from as low as RM1.80 to RM6. But most of them are RM6 (red) on the belt. So before the main course we had tried out their sushi on the Kentai Belt. There are a lot of varieties to choose from and it's different from the one that we eat at Sake Sushi or Sushi King. But then again, sushi will always be sushi. Maybe the presentation of the sushi here is better?
The Soft Shell Crab Roll that my friend had ordered was quite nice and decent.(RM4.80)
For the main dish, I had ordered their ChickenKatsuDon which is their Cold Udon with Fried Chicken. For those who like Cold Udon, this is not bad at all. The chicken was really nice and crunchy too. I ordered the small portion but seemed quite alot too. (RM8)
My friend had ordered the Chicken Katsu with Rice. It's basically Chicken Katsu served with rice, onions, eggs and mushrooms. Quite nice a filling dish. It's also a small portion but seemed quite large. (RM8)So what do I think of the place? Environment is nice and the table on the Kentai Belt was really spacious and sufficient to place all the plates and main dishes. So it's not that cramped like the other sushi outlet. Price is really reasonable and not that expensive. Presentation of food is above average and the taste is also above average. I am not sure of the service and the food quality on weekends though when the place is packed. Well worth my trip over and a return visit too. (Rating: 4.0 out of 5.0)
