Driving Without A License

Got a text from QQ that she wanted to join me to go for the Nike Warehouse this morning. Actually I was quite rushing this morning as I totally forgot that there is a sales meeting between me and my manager. Gosh~! Luckily it finished early and managed to settled most of my work before leaving. Reach around 11.10 am and people were already inside searching high and low for what the place had to offer. We quickly walk over to the shoe section but was quite disappointed as there is not much choices (or at least the one we fond of) which is being displayed. But I managed to get myself a Nike Pro, Nike Free for my niece and a wrist band for myself. Saw some instructors and members while we were there too. But it was a bit disappointing as the stuff wasn't that cheap and not much choices too. Sigh~!

As I was walking to Subang Parade for some window shopping before the class, I suddenly found out that my driving license had expired since 29th April. OMG~! I had been driving without a license for two days already. So I don't think I'll be driving down Penang tomorrow unless someone gonna bail me out from jail when the police found out that I am driving without a valid license. LOL!! Tonight, as usual, joined both Cindy's pump class and also QQ's RPM. QQ's class was extremely power tonight. Well mostly cause all of us is shouting our lung off after track 3. LOL!! It was really tough as I followed what I learnt yesterday night and increased my resistance. Damn~! I think I work extra hard tonight from the pool of sweat I saw below me at the end of the class.  Didn't go for minum tonight as all of us wanted to get an early rest for tomorrow's trip. Can imagine all those Char Kuey Teow, Asam Laksa, Cendol and etc that we're all gonna have on this makan trip. Kekeke!

RPM / Body Bike 43 Sizzler - Updated Playlist

Pace and push – or speed and resistance management – are the main focuses of RPM™ 43. You’ll be introduced to the concept of base resistance versus working resistance and in Tracks 2, 4 and 6 you’ll be managing your resistance to help you stay on the beat for longer. This, combined with some awesome new music, will really get that heart racing! You’re eased into the workout with Ne-Yo’s Closer.

Take the time to set up the correct cycling position and become familiar with the base and working resistance. Your heart rate will lift in Track 2 with the two one-minute intervals. Katy Perry’s Hot n Cold will have you singing along before the hard work hits in Track 3. The Killers’ Spaceman will help you through the three short, steep phases which are followed by one power effort. Snow Patrol’s Take Back The City is a great track to catch your breath to during the cruisy climbs but get ready to push yourself in the sprints.

The Prodigy are in the house driving Track 5 – a big song, big sound and intense interval training track. There are four efforts on the flats in the hardest gear which will have you gasping for air. You get the chance to flush your legs and recover in Track 6 – but don’t get too comfortable as there are two big, one-minute speed work-efforts. The key to surviving Track 7 is to manage your intensity wisely. Go big but pace yourself as you’ll need to put in a huge effort to make it to the top. Two short 30-second efforts are followed by two 90-second strength endurance phases. Your hard work is rewarded with a ride home to Broken Strings – James Morrison’s beautiful hit featuring Nelly Furtado.

Body Step 76 Sizzler - Updated Playlist

Welcome Space Cadets! The space and time travelling themes in BODYSTEP® 76 are out of this world – you’ll really need to get your imagination going as you enter the BODYSTEP® zone! Christina Aguilera sums Track 2 up nicely with Keeps Gettin’ Better. The Rocker – a great warmup for your hip flexors – makes a welcome return, before you lift the heart rate and add some flava in Track 3. Track 4 is simple and athletic – turn up the heat and pick up your feet.

Intensity will be lifted with Jumping Jacks and High Knee Runs. Get ready to shoot some hoops in Track 5. The Squat Taps will fire up the gluteals before you leap high for the Slam Dunk – it’s a great mix of strength and cardio work. You’ll love the Moonwalk in Track 6 to Venus Or Mars before your gluteals are challenged once again in Track 7 with the Back-Stepping Lunge & Half Squat Combo and the Repeater Combo. Have some fun with the Beyoncé-inspired Party Step Track – make sure you bring some Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) attitude to your moves. You’ll enjoy Track 9 which is also a flava track – performance is in the house with The Time Warp! Track 10 is all about power with Repeaters, Over The Tops and advanced move Moonwalk Part 2.

After grueling core-conditioning and leg-strength exercise and a triceps workout, you’ve certainly earned your warm-down to The Pussycat Dolls’ Space. So dust off your moon boots, get ready for takeoff, and enjoy!

RPM PT Session

MD called me during lunch asking me which gym should we join for RPM tonight. Well, the best bet would be Uptown as we have the choice to join Vincent or Stephanie's class. I intended to join a back to back RPM class as there wasn't much time gap in between the classes. I heard that Vincent is quite new but I still give him a chance (as I am not that picky, kakaka!). As for Stephanie, well I heard lots of good things bout her, so it's time to try her out, I mean her class. So I am able to coaxed MD to do a back to back RPM class with me tonight.

Vincent is quite young I guess, as he mentioned that he's taking one week leave next week to study for his exam? Anyway, his class is alright. Better than I thought it would be. Intensity is there and vocal is clear too. Tracks selection is a mixture of old and new which is good. Finished the class in a pool of sweat and rest for a while before heading for Stephanie's class. Yes, she remembered both of us when she shouted both our names out loud when we entered the studio. Subang members, she called us. LOL! Her coaching is clear and pre-cue is right on. Track selection was damn tough. Especially Track 5 and 7 (send me an angel). She was really pushing both of us to the max. Well sitting right in front of her doesn't really gave us much of a choice to 'snake' tonight. LOL!

It was totally a good work out we had tonight. After the class we even had RPM PT session from her. As I had asked for her advice on my pull back. She was really attentive to my techniques during the class and advice me what I had done wrong. My shoulders moved too much and it's open too wide. She even advice us on the timing during the standing climb. Follow the beat, but it's so damn hard when your resistance is so damn hard. Arghh~!!! Since QQ confirmed she's gonna teach tomorrow, so gonna put what I learn tonight to test tomorrow. Oh, hopefully I can still drive the next day for my Penang trip.

What's Wrong With Me?

I am so not in the mood for classes these days. I started the night of with my usual Body Step class. I wasn't myself tonight as I am not giving my fullest during the class. Taking options and all, I was quite surprise myself. I am not sure if I am too tired or just non motivated or maybe both??? But still I completed the class. Didn't continued with Body Pump class as I am so damn lazy and not motivated to continue with it. Heard that Sue is coming back next week, well let's hope that I am back to myself next week. Even during Master T's combat class, I am so lazy. Is it because of the hot weather that is effecting my mood?

MRTA or Life Policy

I learn something today bout MRTA and MLTA. I am still deciding where do I get my MRTA and after meeting up with my my agent today I found out that I have other choices to opt for. For one, he suggested for me to get another Life policy to cover the house loan if anything happens to me. I just realized that the sum that I paid for the MRTA will be burn if I refinance in the future and will required to be bought again. And after the whole 20 or 30 years of the tenure, the money will be burn too. And I need to pay upfront one lump sum of money for the MRTA.

As for the Life policy, I will just need to pay the installment each month. There is also a money back gurantee at the end of the day and even early withdrawal if I need cash. If nothing happen to me I will get one lump sum of money after 30 years. And I do not need to worry if I do any refinance or selling of the house as I am always covered. Plus by getting a policy I can get addtional coverage such as TPD and Critical Illness. Whereas MRTA do not cover any critical illness at all. Another benefit of getting a policy. Still weighing both the options I had.

Another Manic Monday

Monday will always be that busy for me. Finished my meeting in the morning and quickly finish off my proposal and replying all my emails. Have lunch with colleague before heading off to KL for my appointment. After rapping up the meeting I need to rush over to North Point to collect the MacBook from my bro's office. Zee wanted to meet up with me over at Midvalley but I was rushing this afternoon but we still managed to bump into each other when I am walking towards North Point. What a small world. My bro's office is in North Point and I accidentally park my car in The Gardens, so I need to walk so far over. At the moment I am carrying my own notebook and my sis's iBook so you can imagine how difficult it is walking so far with two notebook.

But that is not the end, after grabbing the MacBook from my bro's office, I need to carrying an additional notebook back to my car. OMG~! 3 notebooks. Damn heavy and the distance was so far. Quickly rush over to TC for Riyo's Step class. Luckily class wasn't that pack tonight. But I am position behind the pillar so I didn't really saw Riyo in front. Sigh~! Changed my shoe and rush to sign up for RPM class. It was a full class and I just realized that we need to follow the position of the bike rather then the number on it. Darn~! Class was really tough tonight. Legs were so weak and tired but still managed to climb up the stairs and changed my shoe again for Combat class. Tracks was totally from Body Combat 38 (mostly). And I think Malaysian Idol's singing is getting better as he can memorized the lyrics more nowadays. LOL! I just realized that I placed 3 notebooks at the back of my car during the whole class. haha!

  2. Try It Again

A For Apple

For those who read my Facebook tagline then you should know that I am getting something for my babe. Yes, I got my babe an Apple (with the capital A).

And they say good thing comes in two so I bought two Apple(s) today :P

I got my babe a 13.3" MacBook White. It's running on Intel Core 2 Duo Chip. I decided to get her this model as the speed of the processor is 2.4GHz and it's running on 4GB DDR3 RAM. So I don't think I need any upgrading anytime soon. The hard disk is quite average, 160GB but I think I will upgrade it later on to a 250GB. The graphic is supported by NVIDIA GeForce 9400M which is very good for graphic design applications. So what do I pay for this? Let's just say you won't be seeing this price outside. :P

So how bout the other Mac you asked? Well it's actually an iBook G4 which belongs to my sister. So NO, I didn't get an Apple for myself. My company had already gave me a Dell, so I don't think I will get another notebook anytime soon. Maybe a 24" iMac? Well who knows?

I Am Very Tired This Weekend~!

I think I just slept less than 10 hours in less than two days as I woke up as early as 8am this morning. Reason? Beats me. Well since I woke up so early, I decide to drop by DKSH warehouse sales this morning. What a disappointment. There wasn't much items left during the second last day. This is why I don't like going on the second day. But still I managed to grab some M&Ms and Snickers bar. Called bro up and decided to meet up for lunch at The Curve. We had discussion on the renovation of our house again and shared some ideas.

Reached home around 3pm and quickly grab some rest as I got a wedding dinner to attend tonight. It was a last minute request from my sis as her husband can't make it. Well since the venue was in Sunway Hotel, I thought it would be alright but I am really tired while picking up my sis at Puchong. Her friend was actually the groom and the bride is a Japanese women. They purposely came back to Malaysia to held their wedding over here. So it really nice and seeing a lot of Japanese people at the wedding. There is this Japanese women sitting next to me who is so tall and pretty. She too married a Malaysian husband. Lucky guy~! LOL! Food was alright but the waitress was a bit less experience maybe. It was truly a good experience as tonight I saw some Japanese mix Chinese culture wedding night. Reached home at 10.30pm and quickly pack my stuff for work and gym tomorrow. Tired~! Better rest early tonight.

Best Wishes & God Bless My Friend

As you all know, I am going down South on Saturday morning. Woke up early around 6am. Damn I think I just had like less than 5 hours of sleep that morning after watching Uninvited after gym night. LOL~! Drove to Max's house at Puchong to meet up with Alvin and wait for the rest to come. Had dim sum with rest of the convoy before started our journey around 9.30am. Managed to reached Bukit Indah in JB around noon. Had lunch and meet up with some other friends and started our journey down to Kiasu-Land.

My friend basically live at Selater Hills Drive @ Avenue 6, Yio Chu Kang which is actually on the EAST side of the island but we had used Second Link to enter Singapore. So you can imagine the distance that we had to travel to get over to my friend's house. It took us around 40minutes to reach from the border. Damn the house was big and nice. For those who know where is Avenue 6, it's all landed properties over here. My friend, Evelyn greeted all of us with a big smile and warm hugs. She was thinner maybe due to the chemo sessions.

After talking with her, we got to know that her bone cancer had spreads to some part of her lung, stomach and another part. It all stared with some lumps on her chest and back. Her annual medical check up came up perfect and even X-ray but when she felt something was wrong as there is a lump on her chest, she went for CT scan and found the 'shadows'. She had gone through one session of chemo therapy which last for 3 days consecutively and each session last for few hours. She doesn't have any appetite after the sessions and hair will fall off. According to her it's critical stage already by now. How sad when I heard that but she still put on a happy face when talking to us.

But she still shows her usual happy go lucky girl and laughing with us but we know she is trying as hard as she can to fight this. All of us gave our support and love for her to get through this. She had even started her own diary during her ordeal now. All of us took turn to jot down some words of support for her. After a long talk we decided to bid farewell around 6pm as all of us are tired by now. We all hug and prayed together for her. We really hope that we can still meet up with her during our next gathering. God bless you Evelyn~!

Sweat Is Good

Actually I had decided to skip gym on Friday night but since babe nagged me to go as she is coming too with a friend. So I coaxed MD to join me for RPM class and he drag QQ to join us too. So at the end, MD, QQ and me joined Joe's RPM that night. It was a full house class as May TT with Joe with Isiah joining the class too. So there is actually 4 instructors in the RPM class that night. I heard that May's RPM is good and what I heard is true. She can really motivate the crowd to push more.

Skipped Body Step to accompany MD as he's not joining class and babe just arrived. Decided to join Chris W's Yoga class that night. Out of curiosity that is. I am not sure it's the heat or it's the class itself, but I sweat like a dog under the hot sun. I was basically soaked in my own sweat during half of the class. It was a good stretch class. Continued with K-Bear's Combat class later on, with Ann joining us that night. Jackson is TT'ing with K-Bear that night. A bit havoc during track 2 or 3 is it? Totally forgot, maybe both. I think he need to get his music memorized or just the chore itself. Can't comment that much as he's still new in combat. Maybe more TT classes and he will get better. Didn't had any minum session that night as I need to call it a night early for Saturday morning trip down Kiasu-Land :P

One Hell Of A Week Coming

This is going to be a very long week for me as I need to travel a lot in this coming week. As you all know I am traveling down South to Singapore to visit a friend of mine who is diagnosed with Cancer. I just read from LP's blog that her relative was just diagnosed the same thing, I mean cancer. This proves that anything could happen to any of us. OK, I am not being gloomy here but just facing the facts. Hopefully my friend will recover after the 3rd chemo session. I think support from friends and beloved is very important to carry them over this period of time.

I'll be driving down on Saturday morning with some other friends and most probably be coming back next day on Sunday. Hopefully I can reach home early as I need to get prepare for my Monday meeting. I might need to travel down South again for my visit to my contractors down there. Why do I still come up on Sunday if I know that I need to go again? Well it's because my boss might want to go with me on this trip as he wanted to check out the market situation over there and catching up with the customers over there. Not sure if I can make it back for David's birthday if I am going down on Tuesday. Most probably be back on Thursday night.

Friday morning will be our BKLTL's annual trip to Penang. Actually I am really looking forward to this trip but since I know my schedule is going to be that rush this week, I am a bit reserved. But nevertheless, I am still gonna enjoy myself with the fantastic food and company and really unwind myself during this time (if I could). So I am skipping tonight's class to get some extra rest for next week. Was really sad that I couldn't make it for this weekend's DKSH & Home Dec 09. Sigh~! Maybe next round I guess.

Game on in the Squat Track! Challenge yourself with more resistance. Don’t be fooled by the slow start and the Pop-Rock nature of the track – the back half bites hard with four sets of Singles and Bottom Halves back-to-back to finish! Go a little bit heavier in the Chest Track – Infinity 2008 is awesome and builds anticipation before you pump it! The new tempo means your muscles will be under tension for the maximum amount of time.

True Believer will inspire you to give it all you’ve got in the Back Track, before Christina Aguilera’s Keeps Getting’ Better drives you through the Triceps Track. You don’t need your bar but get ready to feel the burn in the Pushups and Kickbacks! Rock through the Biceps Track with Nickelback’s Gotta Be Somebody where Singles are the name of the game.

By the time you reach Track 2, you’ll have experienced Kick-boxing, Karate and Tae Kwon Do, and you’ll be ready to pull out your best Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan impersonations to I Know Kung-Fu. The Boxing ring beckons in Track 3 before your legs are challenged in Track 4 with three conditioning blocks – first the Kick KATA followed by the Esquiva, then the Jump Kick is unleashed. Let loose and have fun in Track 5 with Tutti Fruitti but don’t be fooled by the sing along nature of the song – you’ll be firing up the energy and throwing some power shots. Refocus your technique and re-center in Track 6 to Nickelback’s Burn It To The Ground before the onslaught that is Track 7. Speed by name, speed by nature – you’ll be unleashed in the Descending Elbow Sequence. Sign, Sealed, Delivered~!

Finally it's all settle, well at least part of it. Well for those who haven't heard of the news yet, I had sign the S&P for my first property. After meeting up with the bankers (CIMB & Maybank) this afternoon and hearing what they had to offer, I had decided to go for Maybank for my loan. Well let's just say that their offers are more attractive. So I signed my loan agreement with the bank and later sign my S&P agreement with the developer. After signing like hundred pieces of documents, everything is done. Now I just need to wait for the documents to be stamp by the law firm which was appointed by the developer. I heard that it takes 2 - 3 weeks. So after obtaining the documents later, I am able to take the documents to KWSP to withdraw my EPF. And that will take another 2 - 3 weeks. I think by early June everything will be settle. Finger cross~! : )

After all the signing session it's almost time for gym. Was about to park at my usual spot when I noticed a big banner being hung that read, "Kawasan Tunda by MPSJ". Hence I opted to park inside. Tonight's Body Step class was nice as the tracks selection was some all time favourites. After the class I quickly set up my weights when Debbie came over and asked me to sign for her and QQ for RPM class later. Huh?? How am I gonna sign for her since I am joining Sue's pump. She thought that I wasn't joining as it's Andy teaching tonight. Huh?? I didn't know it's him either. But since I had already set up my weight, why not. Damn deja vu tracks, even Walk This Way for biceps. But it wasn't that hard when you did it more than twice. Master T was late tonight so we quickly run into the class. Class was damn funny as FP kept teasing Mark. MD couldn't join us for supper again but we did have KNSQ with us tonight.

God Bless You My Friend

I just found out yesterday that one of my ex-college-mate from Inti had cancer, bone cancer that is. I was really surprised when one of my schoolmate told me that. Actually when the moment that I heard that, I am not sure how to react. I found out that she was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma. It's the second most common bone cancer. So I had planned with other college mates to travel down this weekend to visit her. Calls were made immediately as soon I know bout her condition. Most of the friends was able to make it for the trip. Was really happy to hear that most of our friends are so willing to spare some of their time for this trip. She is having her 1st session of chemotherapy and if anything goes well after the third, she should be fine. Just wanna wish all well and best wishes here for my friend.

Why Is The Management So Cacat???

Finally we did Tribal Dance for Body Step class. For those who read my blog, they should know that I did Tribal Dance for RPM, Body Combat and Body Pump last week. I am not sure it's coincidence or what but was really a good track for the final power track. During RPM, I had found out that my bike was a bit 'cacat'. How do I describe how cacat is the bike? Let's just say that the pedal is unbalance so it's always side to the left and right. Very annoying but it's a full class tonight so I wasn't able to change a bike. The more I join Master C's class the more I felt that it's a karaoke class. Standing next to M'sia Idol and Master C encouraging his doesn't help much. But we (SOS & I) did have a fun time or rather a good laugh seeing him sing Zombie in Track 4. During Track 8, I had a strong feeling that he's gonna do What Hurt The Most and right I am. So there is no surprise that M'sia Idol sing his lung out again during the whole session. K-Bear's pump class? Didn't join as I wasn't in the mood tonight. And knowing that she'll be doing Walk Like This AGAIN tonight doesn't help too. LOL~!

I found out that there is something or a couple of thing in the matter of fact that I don't like going to The Curve to work out. I think this happens to most of us who go over for shopping or gym. As for me, it's the latter. Every time I walk down to the parking machine to pay, it is either out of order or only accept coins. WTH??!!! Do they really think that we would carry so much coins together with us?? This is not just one or two time but had been going on for months and close to years. I am not sure what is the logic behind this no paper money issue. Secondly, if they expect people not able to pay at the parking meter, they should have set up more exit with manual payment rather than just having one out of 5 exit. WTH are they thinking? I think the management know bout this but am not lifting their hand to settle this issue. There are two exit with manual payment but only one is occupied. Hence, there is a long queue on that lane. Damn stupid~!

Back Hometown

Woke up really early and started my journey back hometown last weekend. Stopped at Village Park at uptown for breakfast. I think I had a better breakfast that day compared to my lunch previously. Crowd was pouring in as early as 9am but luckily I managed to get a seat close to the counter. I found out that I will get my order in much faster if I order directly from the counter.

Drive back hometown wasn't that much jam and it was a nice drive back home. Had late lunch with my old friend who works in the banking line. Shown him my home loan and he too was amazed with the offer I'd got from Maybank. He told me that the market will most probably be slumping again towards the end of the year. OPR will be revised again before end of the year and this will mean that BLR will be decreased again (which is good for home buyer). They forecast that this global slump will last for at least another 3 years. Bad news??!

Weather was really HOT over at my hometown too. I was practically sweating from morning till night. But luckily my uncle wasn't in so me and my babe stayed in his room which has an air condition. :P Woke up early again this morning to catch breakfast with my family. After that continued with my new TVB marathon with babe. Had lunch and start packing for my trip back to KL. traffic was light and it wasn't that hot too. But once I arrive home it was so damn hot and stuffy. Arggh~!! Can't wait for my house to get ready to move in. Air condition is a MUST nowadays since the weather is so damn horrible.

A Tired Friday Night

I was really tired last Friday night during Body Step class. Maybe I push myself too far during RPM class. We did some really tough tracks for the power climb track. Starting to find the recovery track to be so tough that night. Maybe I put too much resistance during both that tracks. So during Step class I was a bit tired to do that much jump. After step class, I even thought of skipping the squat track as my legs were really tired. K-Bear noticed that my bottom halves didn't have the range too. We did discussed on the tracks that we're gonna do that night so I roughly know what I'm heading towards. She told me that we're doing Walk Like This for biceps. I was like, "Oh, Ok ma, not that hard". I had totally forgot how tough the track was. Imagine 3 sets of 8 singles to the end. OMG~!

During shoulder track, my arm were already shaking so I opted for the plates rather than my usual bar. Continued with her Combat class and we had a bumpy start during the warm up :P Really nice doing some old tracks starting from this week as I was really getting bored of the new one. But I don't mind doing Hardcore Angel anytime. LOL~! We had a filling supper after the class and had a long chat on our trip up North next month. Gotta call it a night early as I am driving back Mentakab the next day. Yes~!

Triple Theme Class @ KBT

Was deciding which gym to go tonight as I was quite lazy to travel down all the way to KBT just for K-Bear's class. So I called up CP and asked what other classes was around. Luckily Riyo's Body Step class was before K-Bear and Master C's Body Combat was after that. 3 classes back to back is quite worth my journey down. Got a call from my friend who wanted to check out the house I wanna bought at Kemuning Utama. Well since the timing is all accordingly, so I had decided to go to KBT after visiting Kemuning Utama.

I thought that Riyo was the only one teaching but suddenly I saw two boards on the stage. In come Eric T with the air mic. OMG~! Don't tell me he's gonna TT with Riyo. Sigh~! Whatever~! So here's the stupid or rather silly thing happened. As usual my board level was set to the highest for the first 4 tracks. And this Eric T was on the stage asking me to lower down my board. First, I am not a newbie and I know my level of resistance, so I politely say it's OK. Again he told me that the level is too high for warm up. Purlesss lar, we at Consplant had been doing this for ages, and don't compare his standard with others. Anyway, I just neglect him and the class started. Choice of tracks was terrible. One, it's too low impact, two it's too slow beat and three he's pre-que was not that good. Luckily Riyo took over from Track 5 I think and brought the class back up. We're still doing the Monday track, but what the heck~!

Quickly get a board and get ready for K-Bear & her BFF's class. Class was almost full tonight. I guess someone was waiting for them to take off their jacket and check them out. And that someone was so clever to brought his handphone in the studio and try to take a picture of K-Bear and Riyo with their bikini top. But K-Bear did reminded him that no picture was permitted unless by Eric T himself. LOL~! Served him right~! Since we had discussed the track selection for the first five tracks so I was wondering what was Riyo's selection for the second half. It was alright and there was this challenge during the Biceps track and the winner get a towel from FF (Woo Hoo~!! Yeah Right!!)

Continued with Master C's Body Combat after pump. Class was full but I am lucky to be standing next to the stage so it's not that close to the others. Did some mix old tracks. I was laughing when he say to split the class to two with the left side belongs to the pros as they are all wearing wraps. My gosh, I even saw one wearing blue on the left hand and red on the right. Weird but it's all happening in KBT. Crowd was all hyped and was shouting all the way. Tracks selection was mostly his favourite tracks. So no surprise there. Came out during conditioning as I was really lazy to do another round of conditioning after the first two classes. Went to the locker to check my calls and found out from my banker that my house loan had been approved. YES!!! Dream house is now coming closer and closer~!

UPDATE: Babe told me that night while she was coming up from the basement, she saw someone's car got broke in. Both the front door was wide open but no one was around. So reminder to others, please do not park your car too near to the lift where there is not much traffic. You can park nearer to the parking meter.

MAS Screwed Me Up Big Time!

OMFG~!!! MAS totally screwed me up (or the rest of the passengers to be exact). Let me explained what happen to me on my way back from my trip at Labuan last night. My boarding time was supposed to be 4.20pm and we're supposed to be taking off at 5.20pm. So we were all waiting in the waiting hall and the screen was showing, CALLING during that time. But the CALLING lasted till 6pm and no one said anything. WTF!! There wasn't even a single staff from MAS which was around the whole time. Then suddenly the above screen was shown. WTF!! 3-1/2 hours delay? And not including the 40mins that we had endure before that.

Finally some guy came out and said that all flight are delayed and ask us to go to the main hall to wait. Some foreigners were not happy as they are doing some transit flights to another location from KLCC. So we all were walking down back to the main hall. Passengers are rushing to the MAS counter to check what had happened and no one could answer us. Coincidentally my customer was having the same flight as us. Boy he was pissed and ask one of the staff to come over to ask him. He quoted, "Operational Problem". WTF does that supposed to mean? Like my customer said, we are not mad if the flight is delay but MAS should have the courtesy to send a representative to inform us of the situation and what is the next best solution for us all. Rather than just let us wait for 40minutes and informing us just on the LCD screen that the flight was delayed.

This is my first flight with MAS and I am totally not impressed at all of the way they handled the situation. This is not the kind of service which I expect from a 5 star air company. They should have train their staff well and let some one with experience to handle the crowd rather than just waited the situation to escalate and then only informing us. How dumb is that?!! Finally we were back at the waiting at 9pm and AGAIN we were supposed to leave at 9.30pm but we had waited for another 30minutes before we are asked to go on the plane. And AGAIN no one inform us of the delay and said anything about it. Totally fark up~!!! So at the end I touch down at KLIA around 12.40am and got home at 1.30am. Totally a waste of time.

Invasion of The Thais On A Tribal Night~!

Damn my title damn dramatic. Well let me explain. It was my usual Monday class as usual and I had managed to arrived early to join Riyo's Body Step class. She had mentioned that there will be some Thai's instructors joining her tonight. So there they were, Riyo, Jacqueline and the two Thai fella which I forgot their names. One of them did Track 4 and 5. It was energetic and the songs selection tonight was phenomenal. Sad that QQ wasn't able to join as it was already Track 4 when she arrived.

But I did managed to join her for Herny's RPM class. We did American Boy again for warm-up which I don't mind a repeat as I love the song. Tribal Dance was one of the climax song during the class. My first time doing that track and well it's challenging. Having an instructor sitting next to me really do have it's good point. QQ managed to advised me on my sit back techniques. After finishing Track 7 we quickly sneak out the class as we are rushing for the next class.

It's not Master C class tonight but a special appearance by Renee, Janice and Kwan from Thailand. Renee did the first 5 tracks and the lead was pass to Kwan for Track 6 & 7. And why do you know, we did Tribal Dance again for Track 4. This s not the first time I saw her as she was here last year for the Miracle launch. I heard that she might be back for the Miracle this coming June. Class was damn pack tonight as I saw some really unfamiliar faces in the crowd. Some instructors (Lillian & Peggy) was in the crowd doing the class too. But at the end of the class, I wasn't that tired at all. Haha!

Last class of the night, K-Bear's Body Pump class. I was joking with her before the class, asking her why there is no Thai instructors in her class. And I jokingly asked her to ask IM to TT with her. Since IM can pass as a Thai anytime. LOL~! What do you know, IM did go on stage with her together with Scott. We did discussed on the tracks that we wanted to do this week and I regret saying that I wanted Tribal Dance for shoulder. The 3rd Tribal Dance track I did tonight. LOL~!! Tracks selection was great and on the tough side. But what the heck, we paid to feel pain ain't it. This reminds me of someones saying, "What Doesn't Kills You Only Makes You Stronger".

The Customer Is Always Right Pt.2

It was after dinner with my babe at Summit tonight and we're walking around looking for some stuff. Babe wanted to go into Watson to check out some cosmetics so I went in and check in their supplements. As I wanted to get some Glucosamine for my dad and myself. Was looking up and down and finally found it was placed at the bottom of the shelves. One bottle of 500mg with 30 tablets cost around RM39 and suddenly I saw a triple pack next to it. The triple pack consists of 1 bottle of 100 tablets and 2 bottles of 30 tablets. The shocking part was the price tag, it was RM 59.80. WTH??!! Something is damn wrong here. So I took the pack and went to the counter to ask the cashier to confirm the price. To my surprised (again!) the price was RM 72.00. Walk back and told babe.

Babe told me that he encountered (or rather her colleague) this type of scenario before (at some hypermarket). The store at the end have to sell the item according to the price placed on the tag. So I walked back to the counter and told the cashier that the price tag was different. He walk over to the isle and check on the price tag. Yup, I was right. So he asked me if I really wanted the supplement. DUH! Or else why do I waste so much time walking back and forth to ask you in the first place. So at the end I paid RM 59.80 for the supplement and he quickly took the price tag away before someone else saw it. This proves that the we consumer still have our right in this Boleh-Land.

Improved My Squats, Hurt My Elbow

I think if I can make it for RPM on Friday, I would most probably do 4 classes in a row nowadays. But if I am not doing RPM I might not be doing Body Step at all. Weird, I know. Anyway, Isaiah was covering for Joe RPM last night as he twisted his ankle or some sort. Managed to drag babe into the class to accompany me. LOL! For a first timer, she's still manageable. We did the whole new release again but still I am having so much fun. Did I mentioned that I love RPM these days? LOL!! Class was OK but his voice was a bit soft, power is there and ques was not that clear unless I am familiar with the track itself I think I would be a bit struggling as there is no pre-ques.

Quickly changed my shoe and grab a step board for the next class. I was so damn energetic and motivated last night. I was all out during Body Step and wasn't holding back much like my previous classes. K-Bear's Pump class was next and I decided to cut down on squats to get my technique corrected again. It's more better now but I am not sure why but I managed to hurt my RIGHT elbow this time. So both my elbow hurts during the chest track. OMG~! But I still maintain more 11kg for chest to the end. Decreased clean & press as I'm afraid that I will hurt my elbow more but I too corrected my clean and press according to K-Bear. Even Biceps track is easier now with my shoulder pulled back and all. Shoulder pulling back is really important for doing Pump class. Skipped the conditioning as I am very bored with it. Went down and grab a drink while waiting for the next class.

Next was K-Bear's Body Combat class. My stamina was still at peak even during the 4th class. I think it's the food which I ate during lunch. LOL! Ann was here tonight, so long didn't saw you girl. MD wasn't here tonight as it was just me, FP and SOS. After the class discussed with K-Bear again on my technique during the squats track. Getting better but the elbow problem arise. She said it might be due to the RPM class when I lock my elbow. Well, maybe. Need to keep an eye on that on my next class. 4 classes of RPM in a week. Not bad for a newbie.

Documents, Documents, Documents

It's no secret now that I am getting a house. So this few days has been quite hectic for me rushing up and down getting the documents necessary for my house loan with the banker. After discussing with babe we decided to get a bigger house (theoretically the porch is longer) so we went to the developer and changed our booking. The girl was so nice to redo the paper work and helping us to chase her manager for approval so that we can make this all work. Hand over the documents to both the banker but still left my commission statement. Arghh~~!!! The date line is next Tuesday for the bankers to give the developer the green light on my loan. Fingers all cross now.

Settled with the developer and bankers and got home and changed for gym. Saw the timetable and decided to go for Cindy's Body Pump class before QQ's RPM. She informed us by-hand that she had hurt her tail bone from a fall that happened few weeks back. So she need to cut back on her squats and lunges. Polish up my squats technique and it's getting better. Continued with QQ's RPM class with MD and SOS. Her class is getting better by the day. I think all the new instructors just need more practise to make them better. Well since I got hooked to RPM, will definitely be joining her permanent Thursday night class more often.

Village Park Restaurant @ Uptown Damansara

Some of my friend did mentioned this place before to me while passing through a few times back. But didn't have the chance to really go in and have a try. The name of the place is called Village Park Restaurant at Damansara Uptown. I heard the place serves a good plate of nasi lemak. That I would like to try.

Walked in and the place is filled with people standing queuing to pay and waiting for tables and waiting for their foods. It was havoc. Typical old style kopitiam. They served a varieties of foods ranging from beef rendang, chicken rendang and also the special fried chicken.

One thing for sure, I could smell the scent of a good fried chicken when I smell one. This I will definitely like to try. Physical and smell had already pass my test. Next is the tasting.

Well since I can't decide between beef rendang and fried chicken, hence I had ordered both. Why choose when you can have both right? It took some time before our food arrive. Let's go to the beef rendang first. Looks like one good beef rendang but lack the rendang taste for me. Let's just say I had better. Fried chicken is above average but I still prefered my Darul Salam fried chicken at SS15 anytime. Nasi lemak definitely pack a lot of lemak hence the nice scent and taste. Sambal is very nice, better than the rendang gravvy. Weird~! RM10

Cleanse it all down with one cold glass of Sirap Ice. Sweet~!

Kitchen is small but the workers are very efficient and multitasking. But if you ask me, you will get your food faster if you walk over to the counter and wait for it rather than sitting on your seat. They do serve mee jawa, half boil eggs and etc like a kopitiam.

Overall, the food is above average, hence the pack crowd and all. I heard that the place is operated by nyonya folks. I know the cashier knows Chinese. So it's possible. Definitely going back for second and more to come. You have to queue up to the counter to pay your bill and yes the place is air condition inside so no worries of the sunny weather outside. Rating: 4.0 out of 5.0

Having A Drink With An Old Friend

Got an invitation from an old friend for happy hour today. Well since I have time to spare, why not. Since I am quite nearby Bangsar as I'd just left the KWSP building. Parking always an arse over at Telawi. Finally found a spot next to EON Bank. Damn far from La Bodega (if you know the place). But since he's buying, I am OK with it. LOL! It's been years since my last visit to La Bodega @ Jalan Telawi. My last visit to La Bodega is with the same friend few months back at BSC. What a small world. 3.30pm and we're both having our pint of Hoegaarden chatting and laughing ourselves off. Something or someone is missing, called Ken and off he came to join us later on. It's nice catching up with some old friends having some beers and enjoying ourselves.

Looked at the time and it's almost 6.30pm and I left for Uptown as the RPM class starts at 7.30pm. My friend told me that the road heading towards PJ will be very jam later. Luckily I managed to reached Uptown around 7pm. Got a call from K-Bear while speeding over to Uptown. Aiya~ I still don't know the objective of you calling me. LOL! Damn it was having rain when I arrived so need to go to the basement and park inside. Walk in the gym and quickly get change. Studio in Uptown is a bit similar with The Curve but less bike. Anyway, it was a good workout. Sweat a lot and have tons of fun while doing it. Next round tomorrow at Consplant, although the same track, but to me it's still great.

RM 55.16

That is the amount which I owe the government after filling up the BE form for the year of 2008. Well actually I could always write in something under the purchase of books and magazines like my other friends did and that way the government will owe me back few hundred ringgit. LOL! But since I am a good citizen and an honest tax payer, I will do fulfill my duty and pay the tax. What the heck, it's just RM 55.16. E-filling is so damn easy to do. Just make sure that you kept a sample of the previous year and just referred back and you will be able to finish it in a jiffy. No queues and taking leave to submit your BE form doing this. Sweet~!

Been running up and down to Kemuning Utama today meeting up with my bro and another friend to check out the remaining units again. Finally decided to make a small down payment for one of the unit. And now am preparing the documentation for the loan with the banks. Hopefully will be able to pass everything to them tomorrow as I had already started the process since Monday. Pay slips, bank statement, BE, EA, EPF forms and letter of employment. Should be complete already since I had already submitted my BE today. Loan shouldn't be any problem since the banker had calculated my salary and all. Another big milestone in my life which I made today.Hopefully my bro will get the house over there too, so at least we can cover each other more easier.

And The Mood Is Here Again Tonight

I was checking out the Kemuning Utama sales office this afternoon and found out that there is limited units left. WTF??!! I thought they said 30% - 40% left. So I got to know their offer/promo for the remaining units. Bad news is that they had increased the price of the house by 1.7% to RM359K, damn~! But the good news is that they are following SP's promo where your loan amount could reach to 95% (only for selected bankers). They waived the SAP, Legal Fees and also MOF also. So I am practically not paying anything at all other than the 5% down payment. Another good news is that the developer is absorbing the interest during the construction of the unit. Which mean I am saving around RM19K. I only start the installment when I got the keys to my house. But I found out that the house is facing North-West, which my babe really hates. So back to square one. Sigh~!

Managed to get to gym early as I was rushing to prepare some documents for the bankers. Meet up with Cindy and asked her to sign up for me for the RPM class later. As I am doing Riyo's Body Step class at that time. Yup, I did Body Step then Herny's RPM. Need to rush to the locker to change my shoe for the RPM class. It was really a good class as the whole class was so lively. Everyone was motivating each other and all. Best part is that we're doing some mix tracks already. Quickly run up to the locker to changed my shoe again for Master C's Body Combat. Luckily found my usual spot. Finished the class and continued with K-Bear's Body Pump class.

Tonight class is all about technique and range, well for me at least. My objective is to improve my squats technique. And that is what I achieved at the end. Finally found out what's the problem with my technique out of the blue while doing the track. My hands are too wide while holding the bar hence the shoulder going back while squatting down. Decreases my weights for the back track too as I am correcting my rolls. I think I am getting better? Is it? Step out of the class during conditioning as I was waiting for my brother. Exchanged words with IM, K-Bear and Jason N on next week's track list. We're all so gonna die next week if we really going for what we had discussed. LOL!!

House Hunting Pt.2

Saturday:-
Woke up early as usual and suddenly had the craving for some good nasi lemak. So drove over SS2 and luckily it wasn't the queue wasn't that long that morning. Saw someone from gym and he was with his baby and wife. Finish my breakfast and started my house hunting session with my bro. Decided to go over Setia Alam to check out some sub-sales units. Saw a few units but I am not that interested on it. Drove over Kemuning Utama to check out the house again with my bro. They are very interested on the design and the location. Had late lunch around 4pm at SS15. I still think the quality of BKT over here had deteriorated.

Got a text from ex-colleague for dinner and a new place for dessert in Kepong. Pick up Calvin and meet up with Terrence along the way. Steamboat was nice and we had a long laugh during the dinner. Continued with our dessert after that. My colleague actually got to know this place from Ho Chiak. The place is called Dessert Brother and we had ordered a lot of dessert to share among each other to test all of it. Very nice. Definitely going back for a second.

Sunday:-
Woke up early again as I had a lunch appointment with my bro. We had an appointment with another real estate agent at Puchong. The house that we're gonna check out today is Puchong Hartamas. But it wasn't that attractive. Bad thing about sub-sales is that I am not able to enjoy the free MOT and also S&P fees from the developer but most of all the houses are so badly maintain or rather not maintain at all.

Discussed with bro and both of us are quite interested in the Kemuning Utama property. Recommended the location to Master T and he too agreed with me on this. Had a drink with him and exchanged some ideas of the property. Really gonna have a serious thought on this property. But buying a house is not like buying some vegetable, so really need to calculate and look at the future value and all. Plans are made and hopefully all will fall into place very soon.

Tian Pin Ge Ge @ Kepong

So this is the new dessert in town that my ex-colleague was telling me about. It's located at Jalan Metro Perdana 3 in Kepong. Parking was a bit hard but I think you can park next to the road and walk over. The place was pack as expected when we arrived. The place us called Dessert Brother in Cantonese (Tim Pan Kor Kor). It's origin from Hong Kong and even the girl who served us was from Wan Chai. And she can really talk and recommended some dessert to us too.

Pomelo and Sago in Mango Sweet Soup with Ice Cream. This is not bad as the ice cream adds a bit of sweetness to the mango. RM9/bowl

This is the Mango Glutinous Rice Balls. Damn this is so nice and tasty. Imagine the sweet cold mango is wrapped with soft glutinous rice with coconut shreds. There is actually 4 pieces but they are too hungry to wait for me to take a picture before tasting it. Highly recommended. RM7/plate.

Double-Skinned Milk Custard. This is said to be a must try when you're in Hong Kong, but it was not the case here. It's not the same as the one my friend had over at Hong Kong. It's a bit plain and not much taste. Sad. RM5/bowl

This is the Mango Roll which we all like. The outer white layer is made of coconut (I think). No guessing what's inside, yes it's mango again. This is also a must try if you're over here. Very special. RM8/roll

The name of the dessert is called Happy Village. It's sago mixed with coconut in mango dessert taste pudding. This is just alright for me. RM9/bowl

Ginger Soup with Sesame and Peanut Rice Balls. This so nice. The scent of ginger is really strong. There is half peanut and half sesame rice balls. When you sink your teeth into one of the peanut rice balls, the soup within the ball will burst into your mouth mixing with the peanut taste. Sweet~! Must order. RM 5.50/bowl.

Heart of Greed, the name was so dramatic but I can't say the same on the food itself. Totally disappointed. It's fresh fruits in pomelo and sago in mango sweet soup. RM10/bowl.

This is the one which I ordered that the girl recommended. It's brand new in the menu. It's Black Pearl Sago with Mango, Banana and Longan. Damn this is so nice. It's cold and sweet as there is a scoup of ice cream underneath it. The taste of coconut milk is a bit strong here. Totally love this. RM12/bowl.

Overall it's a very good experience and also a good place to have a good dessert. I am so bored of K.T.Z by now. I am not so into Mango all this time, but I am so into it from tonight. Maybe a bit over rated but you can always go over and have a try for yourself. I heard that they are coming out with a second branch in KL in two months. Hopefully there will be one in PJ soon. (Rating: 4.0 out of 5.0)

Hao Jie Seafood Steamboat Restaurant

Got a phone call from my ex-colleague for food tasting tonight. It's a new dessert shop in Kepong area. But before that, we decided to have dinner. So he had suggested Ho Jie Steamboat restaurant. It's said that it's origin from Pulau Ketam. These days, they all said it's from Pulau Ketam. Gimmick?

Fish slices which was really fresh.

Pork balls and fish ball with minced pork. I heard that most of the fish balls and also other variety of food is prepared in house. So it's really fresh.

We had also ordered some fried Yong Tau Foo. Nice~!

Golden Mushrooms are a must for steamboat. It's not those that sticks together that I normally had in other restaurant. So it's not cold storage stuff.

What is steamboat without some fresh green to go with it. There's also bean curd and also prawns, the usual yee mee, mee hoon and eggs.

So add everything on top and we got one pot of hot seafood which is boiling and ready to go into our hungry stomachs. The soup was fresh but still tasty. Overall it's an over the average steamboat restaurant. Service is good and the place is always full house. It's located opposite Carrefour in Kepong same row as Papa Rich Coffee Shop on the other end. The whole meal cost us RM 99nett for 5 person. It's RM13.50/pax but we did ordered some extra pork balls and golden mushrooms and some other stuff. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)

When The Mood Comes

I was rushing down from KLCC after the last day of my exhibition over there. Left at 5.00pm and reached Consplant at 5.30pm. Yes, was driving like Schumacher all the way. LOL!! Actually I was hoping to make it for Joe's RPM class. But I am not sure what is the time. So I just try to make it as early as possible. Got a parking as soon as I arrived. Lucky~!

Quickly walk up the stairs and saw there were already 6 or 7 members in the studio. Look at the time table and it's stated 5.45pm. Quickly went in and changed. Damn, didn't brought my another shoe for RPM. Gonna wear my Bounce again. Darn it. Class was OK, with good techniques shown and coaching but like some one said, it lacks motivation I guess. I am getting grown to RPM by the day. So gonna do more of RPM nowadays. Finished the class and walk out and saw that Body Step class just started and quickly walk in and get a board. Yup, it's JJ's class but what the heck, once in a while is OK. It's a full 1 hour class but still managed to finish it in one piece.

Quickly get my gloves and set my boards for K-Bear's Body Pump class. Saw Jackson and thought that he was team teaching with her. Well he might as well team teach or lead the class by the way he coach and shouted in the class. LOL! Did some challenge with Michael and Owen at the back. Good motivation to add weight with this two fella around. Finish the class and quickly get my water filled before the last class. Surprisingly it was quite pack tonight but MD wasn't here tonight. After the class, K-Bear gave me some feedback on moves during her pump class. Will try to follow your advice on the next class. Yes, I finally finished RPM, Body Step, Body Pump and Body Combat back to back. Aiya~! Once in a while when the mood is right only lar.

I'm Hooked On RPM~!

Finally the problem which had been bugging me for months had finally reached it's conclusion. Or so I think it is. Got a SMS from my service manager informing me that they had achieved what the customer requested. I was so relief when I saw the message after the RPM class. Yup, I decided to join RPM again tonight. And who other but QQ sitting in the class again or Ping. I am so into RPM nowadays. Since MD and SOS also joined tonight, I was particularly hyped I think. LOL!

Since they are still doing the new release, I had a good idea what is coming and wasn't that much struggling compared to my first attempt last week. Even during Track 3 and 5 I was still pushing hard. During Track 3 I was thinking of joining RPM again next week. What a feeling. It's like the first day of Body Combat for me. At the end of the class, I can't wait for another round of RPM the next day or so. Totally hooked onto RPM nowadays. Maybe cause I did Body Pump a lot, so I didn't felt much 'pain' as they put it after the class. So when is the next class? Hmm..... let me see.

April Fools

April Fool just passed but still managed to prank someone before the end of the day. To that someone, Gotcha~!! LOL!!

Wednesday, April 1

Do I Need A Change?

First day for the Health Care Asia Exhibition at KLCC and I was jamming all the way to it. I'd decided to use Jalan Duta to Tun Razak where the stupid jam started after I passed Parliment. The jam was all the way to Jalan Ampang. OMG~! Luckily I left my house early thinking to grab breakfast when I arrived. But still managed to arrived 40mins before the exhibition starts. But I found out that I couldn't enter the hall as my tag was with my colleague who was late today. OMG~!! Waited for 20mins before she came and we all went in.

It was a slow day as it was just open for traders. This has got to be one of the lowest traffic of visitors I saw in an exhibition. It shrunk tremendously since the previous same exhibition. And the organizer was so bold to say that it's better than last time. Stupid~! But I was damn occupied the whole day as there was a situation with one of my customer at site. Been calling me whole day and luckily my manager was there to take over at the end. I was really busy as I need to compile all the data from the servicing side and later discuss with my manager and back to the customer. Heck, it lasted even when I arrived home after 7pm.

No gym for me tonight, so finish off my work at home and rest for the day. What class will I join tomorrow? RPM at Consplant again? Since QQ is teaching again and I do want to change some of my GX program recently. Might really look into doing more RPM classes and drop some of the other Body Combat and Pump classes. Damn I am so bored of it sometimes. It's not the instructor but just doing the same class over and over again. Yes, I know it's because I do too much of the classes a week but I need to exercise. So we will see how it all goes.
