Thanks For The Dinners

So what had I been doing this pass week. Sorry for the lack of updates these days as I am still catching up with my work, gym and also the remaining lou sang dinners before the end of CNY today. Lets see what I had this week. Dinner started from Monday night with babe's schoolmates reunion cum CNY dinner at Bukit Tinggi after gym. When I say Bukit Tinggi, I mean Genting and not Klang. We had a long journey over but the food was fantastic as the restaurant was owned by their schoolmate. Second dinner of the week would be Thursday night after gym too. It was babe's friends birthday cum CNY dinner at Telok Gong. Dinner was really rush again as it was last call since we arrived around 10.30pm. It was a memorable night as all of us spotted some UFO that night. Trust me, I am very skeptical at first but I can't think of anything else other than UFO since it's movement are very repetitive and impossible to be executed by any air craft known to men.

Finally it was my dinner cum karaoke session with the BKLTL group on Friday night. Would like to say thanks again to BQ for organizing it and sponsoring part of the bill. It was a stormy night but everyone arrived that night and even KNSQ who coincidentally came back for the CNY from Australia. Last dinner of the week would be the CNY cum birthday dinner for Jacq and myself which is an annual thingy already for all of us. Again would like to expressed my gratitude to Wanie for arranging and also preparing the goodies bag for all of us. It was really unexpected as it was supposed to be a 12 pax dinner which turned out to become a 15 pax plus a baby dinner at the end. We had to squeezed a bit that night but I guess we all did had a big laugh out of it and not forgetting to all of those married couples who gave me 'Ang Pow', THANK YOU Yer All~ Yer The Best~!!!!

First Class After 2 Weeks

It was my first class after two weeks of rest and the holidays. So I decided to start off the first class with medium resistance for Body Step. OK, it wasn't as tiring as I thought it would be. Maybe the track selection were a bit slow for some track. Anyway, I continued with Sue's Body Pump class afterward. It was half way through the Squats track when I realized that I hurt my back a month ago. Felt my back a bit tired and decided not to go that low, and we're only doing Stomp that night. She was really in the mood 'to kill us all' that is, when we know that her selection for the Chest track was Push It. OMG~!! I was half dead even before the push up at the end. Back track was really a killer as I can see both my legs shaking like crazy during the 7 wide rolls. Triceps was still alright but Biceps wasn't that tough but I was really struggling towards the end with Evanescence's Weight Of The World. It's really felt like the weight of the world are on my biceps that time. We did I Go Crazy for the Lunges which is very motivating and dramatic. Totally love it. We did The Power of Bhangra for the shoulder tracks which I was struggling again towards the end. Damn it was a tiring crazy class for me.

But that's not the end of it as I joined my third class which is Body Combat. Most of the members were there so was really excited as I didn't do BC for so long. Warm up was a good choice as I wanted to do Because The Night for so long. Since I didn't Master T last Thursday, Sunday and Monday class, so it's no deja vu for me. lolx~!! Anyhow, I was so tired when we did some of the track as we need to shuffle and all. But I was hyped during the muay tai track as we did Let The Beat Control Your Body. It was really Miracle that I finished the last track in one piece that night. But didn't go all the way for the conditioning as my shoulders are still sore from the long holidays. Maybe next week we give it a try again. Hopefully my stamina will build up again soon but then again, I am cutting down on my classes, so no problem la.

72 Tenants of Prosperity

This is the second CNY movies which I watched during the holiday. And I would say that this is the better one compared to the first which I watched, All Wells, Ends Well 2010. This is a remake of the original movie from the 80s and the latter is some sort of an annual movie. Don't get me wrong, I like AWEW, as the movie starred my favorite comedian like Louise Koo, Roland Cheng and Sandra Ng. But the story line is a bit outrageous and over for me. And they didn't managed to focus on each individual that much. This is the down side of the movie for me.

Let's get back to the 72 tenants movie now. This movie starred more than 100 over actors and actresses from HK. I too worried as there were too many famous faces in the movie like AWEW but luckily it doesn't. The main actors are Jacky Cheung, Eric Tsang and Anita Yuen. It's a love triangle story that ended with Eric marrying Anita and left Jacky heart broken all these years. Now both the party feud continues to their offspring. Both of them operates mobile phone shop opposite to each other. From the beginning you can see the movie is sponsored by SE all the way with their phone being paraded the whole movie (Aino is waterproof???). Like all movies, the feudal finally ended with both families spouses being together. There were tons of funny moments in the movie where I laugh my ass off in the cinema. Definitely worth my time and money on this movie. Lets just say that I would watch it again if anyone wanted me to accompany them. (Rating: 4.0 out of 5.0)

Updates Updates Updates

Sorry for the long disappearing act I pulled since the long holiday. First thing first, I wanna wish all my Chinese readers, A Prosperous Chinese New Year filled with Wealth and long Health to you and your families and friends. OK, got that settled, now for updates. My last post was before the long holiday and I was all sick with the lost of appetite during that time. Checked by the doctors at GH on my blood sample indicated that my platelet was too low (<40) and was supposed to be admitted as it was too dangerous (anything below 60). Oh, I was diagnosed for Denggi actually. I was shocked as it was Friday and 2 days before CNY. So I just took their advice to drink more liquid as my blood was too thick at that time. Yup, I didn't admit myself into the hospital and continued with my long journey back home town. Since I am still here right now, well, seemed like everything went well. I can say that my appetite had recovered 80% but not fully. For those who saw me during CNY, I looked really pale and skinny as I didn't ate anything for the whole week.

CNY for me this year wasn't anything fancy. Just meet a few friends up and had lunch with them. Other than that, I was home with the families and resting. Appetite is picking back up and I started eating some food slowly. Back to the big city on the 3rd day of CNY and visited my babe's families. And the rest of the week was filled with shopping and outing with friends and my babe. Other than that, it was just home resting and watching a whole lot of movies. Managed to catch two movies during the week. Gonna catch another one tonight with babe celebrating my B'day tonight. Anything special? Nothing much, just a movie and dinner with babe. Trust me, I like simplicity in life. Don't get me wrong, I do like going crazy and all once in a while to spice up my life. As I mentioned to my relative earlier of the week, this weekend gonna be really fast and before we know it, it's Sunday and we be all going back to work again. And here am I lying on my bed waiting for Monday to come. But it's nice catching up with the relatives and friends back home and plenty of rest in between. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday as I did. Cheers~!

Tasteless

OK, good news is my fever is cured. Didn't felt any coldness this two days. But I still looked so pale. Why? Cause I didn't really ate anything since last Friday night. Yes, you heard me right. I'd been living on water for 5 days now. Reason was, everything I ate tasted so bitter. I am not lying here. Even the sweet stuff like kaya bun I had on Monday tasted so bitter. So I just finished half. Chicken rice felt tasteless to me, nasi lemak and even the sweet bun I bought this morning tasted bitter. Was forcing it down my throat as I know I need to eat something or I will faint anytime as my body can't generate any nutrition or energy to work. SO what's the problem? I heard that it's due to the antibiotics which I took. But heck, I finished them up on Monday. Will the side effect really that long. I mean I took antibiotics before, but this is too much. I am so weak nowadays, and I don't feel like eating anything at all. Even the food which I craved about would make me feel like vomiting when I look at them now. Oh GODD!!! How long will this last???

That Is HOT!!!

Last weekend was HELL for me. It started off after lunch on Friday when my body is feeling really cold. I think definitely something is really wrong. Someone even said that I might got Denggi. Sigh~ Anyhow, I went back early and try to sweat it out after a nap but when I woke up I realized that my eyes are swollen again. WTF??? As if the fever is not bad enough is it? During dinner time, I was really struggling and didn't even got passed the second dish. The food sux doesn't help much too. After the dinner I quickly drove to the nearest clinic and the doctor told me that my body temperature is 38.9 Degree. That is HOT!!! He gave me some Panadol and Antibiotic for the fever (duh!!) and ointment plus eye drops for  the swollen eyes. The weekend was really hell for me as I totally lost my appetite and my body is aching. Body feeling so cold inside but so hot outside. Even when I bath with hot shower the water felt so cold. That was scary. Body wanted to lie down when I am standing and when I am lying down, it wants me to stand. Damn~!!!

Night wasn't anything good also. Totally forgot how many times I woke up every single 20 mins from 2 in the morning till 9. I don't know why but I kept on twisting and turning in my bed and waking up just after I fall asleep. Sigh~!!! My temperature on Sunday night was 37.5 degree which lowered down but still higher than usual. Need to work today so must get myself ready. Yes, I got work to finish off before the new year so can't take MC. And did I mentioned that everything I ate is tasteless. I didn't even have the appetite to eat anything. I think I didn't ate anything in this two days. Sigh~! Talk about diet. Hopefully this will all be fine before the big day.

iPhone OS 3.1.3

Apple had just released their latest OS for their iPhone and iPod Touch devices. So what is new with this OS 3.1.3 updates? Let's see, from the description of the updates, it seemed like it's just some minor bug fixes and not any major changes made. According to the key notes released on the new OS, the updates includes a number of bug fixes and enhancement on issue with 3rd party apps that can't be launch sometimes and most importantly enhanced the accuracy of the battery life on iPhone 3GS. You can download and install the new OS via iTunes update now. Note, the new OS 3.1.3 (7E18) also updates the baseband firmware, so for those who use software to unlocked their iPhone, please don't update.

For those (like me) who had JB their iPhone, it is not recommended to update to the new OS just yet. At least for iPhone 3GS, iPod 2G and iPod 3G this is still not possible yet. The Dev Team are still testing their beta RedSn0w 0.9.2 for the said models. But for iPhone 3G users, they can use the RedSn0w 0.9.2 to JB after updating to the new OS. Redsn0w only works (JB & unlock) for iPhone 2G but if you don't care about unlocking, then iPhone 3G go ahead. Please take note again, it doesn't work on iPhone 3GS. As always, be reminded that hacking your phone might void your warranty so please proceed with caution and at your own risk. Always back up your phones data before trying it out. Will update you all when either Dev Team or GeoHot managed to JB the new OS. So for the time being, will still stick with my OS 3.0.

Back To Usual

It's been a week since I pulled my muscle and I did my first class on Monday. Everything went well for all the classes. I did Body Pump, Body Step and RPM since this two days. Everything went smoothly without any hiccups in between (thank god). Was even carrying my usual weights during Body Pump. But I am still a bit careful while lifting and putting down the bars. Even did sufficient stretching in between tracks. But if my schedule is correct, I will be doing 4 classes of Body Pump this week not inclusive of other classes. Asked my doctor bout this as I heard some members mentioning about resting our body for at least 24 hours after each Body Pump class to recover. But the doctor told me it's all depending on individual body. So what the heck, I just do la. Anything happen to me, I know who to look for. Choi Choi Choi!!!! lolx~!

iTunes 9.0.3

The new iTunes 9.0.3 was just released a day ago and let's see what the new update had in store for us. From the key notes release, there were some important improvement but comparing to the iTunes 9.0 being released last September it's still a long way to go. According to the new key notes, the new iTunes update fixes on some bugs related issues like

• iTunes no longer ignores your "Remember password for purchases" setting.
• Addresses problems with syncing some Smart Playlists and Podcasts with iPod.
• Resolves a problem recognizing when iPod is connected.
• Addresses issues that affect stability and performance.

The new iTunes 9.0.3 is available using your Apple Software update and the size of the file is approximately 98.03MB. Or you can download directly from this link. Enjoy~!

Another Great Idea

I was out shopping last weekend trying to get some clothes before the CNY. As always everyone was rushing too and there were so many people in every department store. So there was this incident or rather conversation which turn out to be quite funny. Babe was queuing up to test her blouse and we waited so long. The queue wasn't that long actually but damn the people inside were really taking their own sweet time. So there were two guys in front of us complaining that it took ages for women to change and all and we should create something to hasten things up. So I interjected into the conversation and ...

Me: I think they should install some sort like an alarm to ring if the people inside took longer than they should.

Guy: Ya Ya, I agreed. Setting time duration based on the quantity of clothes that they bring in.

Me: Ya, we could also incorporate the alarm with the door to automatically sprung wide open once the alarm gone off. And install a CCTV to broadcast the people inside the room into the LCD TV outside.

Guy: Yeah man, that should make them "kan cheong" a bit when changing inside.

Me: Imagine trying out 2 pairs of skinny cut jeans and you yourself are wearing one. lolx!!!

Guy & Me: (Laugh)

I know it's stupid but you can't say that it's not funny in a sick kind of way. lolx!
