Redsn0w 0.9.5 Beta

The Dev Team had just launched their Pwnage 4.0 on Monday to JB the new iOS 4 for MAC users and now they had released Redsn0w 0.9.5 for Windows users. Now you can JB your iDevices running on iOS 4 with Sn0wbreeze if you're a Windows user or Pwnage 4.0 on MAC. So what is the different with this Redsn0w 0.9.5 beta and the other two?
  • Redsn0w 0.9.5 beta ONLY JB iOS 4.
  • Redsn0w 0.9.5 ONLY SUPPORT iPhone 3G & iPod Touch 2G.
  • Redsn0w 0.9.5 DO NOT WORK on iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 (Yes, you hear me right)
  • Redsn0w 0.9.5 beta will hacktivates iPhone 3G.
  • Redsn0w 0.9.5 runs on MAC & Windows users.
  • Redsn0w 0.9.5 enables multitasking, custom homescreen wallpaper, battery percentage features (which is not available on the original iOS 4) for both iPhone 3G & iPod Touch.
  • Redsn0w 0.9.5 DO NOT UNLOCK your iPhone. So use Ultrasn0w 0.9.3 to unlock your iPhone 3G after JB with Redsn0w 0.9.5.
As always, remember to backup your phone before you try to JB your phone or do anything courageous. The author will not be held liable for any damages that might/had happen on any of your devices. So please proceed with caution and ask question if you are not sure. You can download Redsn0w 0.9.5 here. Let me know how it goes for you. Cheers~!

Sn0wbreeze

As I was saying early this week, The Dev Team had created the Pwnage 4.0 to JB the new iOS 4 but it's only for MAC users. Now iH8sn0w had released their own JB software called Sn0wbreeze for Windows users. If you use previous JB like Ultrasn0w, the new Sn0wbreeze has the same feature of creating the user's custom firmware (*.ipsw) so that they can update to the new iOS 4 and then jailbreaking it. The new Sn0wbreeze support the same iDevices as Pwnage 4.0

  • iPhone 3GS with old bootrom and not JB with Spirit beforehand;
  • iPhone 3G which probably need go into DFU mode;
  • iPod Touch 2G not JB with Spirit before
There's some good news for iPhone 3G user if you're using Sn0wbreeze to JB your phone, as multitasking and custom wallpaper feature will be accessible (which is NOT allowed if it's not JB). As always, remember to backup your phone before you try to JB your phone or do anything courageous. The author will not be held liable for any damages that might/had happen on any of your devices. So please proceed with caution and ask question if you are not sure. And before I forget, here is the link for the new Sn0wbreeze. Enjoy~! Do let me know what do you think of the new Sn0wbreeze Pwnage tool.

The Legend is Born - Ip Man

This is the third installment of the most talked about Kung Fu movie these pass few years. The legend is born, Ip Man. As the name goes, the story actually tells how Ip Man get started off learning Wing Chun and how he was the man he is in the first and second installment. I think most of us had guess that someone would have made a movie of how he got started off in beginning and here it is. Typical Hong Kong style film making but we all go for it. I got free tickets for the sneak preview, so it's still alright for me. Anyway, most of the cast are familiar faces from the first and second movie except for Donnie Yen. I heard it's because of the money issue (again!) but it's logical that they find a younger man to play him as this part of the story starts off when he is still a teenager.

The main actor who played Ip Man is Dennis To. You could recognize that face from the first and second movie if you really look carefully. Yes, he's Sammo Hung's disciple with the mustache in the second part. Go and guess where is him in the first movie. Sammo Hung is back but this time around he is playing as Ip Man's sifu, Chan Wah Shun. He passed away before he can fully train Ip Man, but the duty is being took over by the eldest pupil, Ng Chung Suk (played by Yuen Biao). Ip Man has a step brother called Tin Chi (played by Louis Fan). The story tells of how Ip Man being trained since a small kid to a teenager and went to Hong Kong to study over there. Over there he meet Leung Bik (played by Ip Chun, Ip Man's real life son) who teaches him a different kind of Wing Chun.

I am not going to tell what happened next, as you need to watch it for yourself. The focus of the movie would be telling everyone that there is no authentic or non-authentic Wing Chun martial art. Wing Chun is a ever changing art which the person could learn and transform it to a greater one. They also emphasize that the martial arts in the movie are more authentic Wing Chun compared to the first two movie. As the Wing Chun played by Donnie Yen are more commercial type (DUH!!) It also tells how Ip Man found his wife and how they fall in love and at the end married. It's not all kick and punches in the movie but rather story telling with some flying kicks in between. Not as good as the first one but it's still a good movie to watch. If you watched the first two episode, you might as well go for this just to finish it up. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)

Pwnage Tool 4.0

As I was mentioning yesterday, The iPhone Dev Team had just released their new Pwnage Tool 4.0 to JB the new iOS 4. But hold your horses you JB'ers! It's not everyone are able to use that tool yet. Please read what The Dev Team had to say about he new Pwnage 4.0 before you proceed. The new Pwnage 4.0 Tool will for MAC will enable iPhone 3G, 3GS (old bootrom) to update iOS 4 and jailbreaking it.

Each supported device has few different scenarios that users need to consider when performing the upgrades, you need to check below and perform the upgrade in the particular way that matches your current device state.

NB: With PwnageTool 4.0 certain devices are not supported  this is because they are not supported in iOS 4.0 or they are not supported by our software.
iPhone 2G  - not supported
iPod Touch - not supported
iPod Touch 3G - not supported

For iPhone 3G
If you have a Jailbroken iPhone 3G at 3.1.2 (but not jailbroken with Spirit) then you should create the ipsw with PwnageTool 4.0 and restore from recovery mode or DFU mode. If you have an out of the box iPhone 3G you should restore using a PwnageTool 4.0 ipsw using DFU mode. If you have a Jailbroken 3.1.3 iPhone 3G it is very possible that this can fail from recovery mode, if this failure happens you will need to restore using DFU mode. IMPORTANT! Whenever you need to enter DFU mode, you will need to do so using PwnageTool.

For iPhone 3GS
If you have a Jailbroken iPhone 3G at 3.1.2 (but not jailbroken with Spirit) then you should create the ipsw with PwnageTool 4.0 and restore from recovery mode or DFU mode. If you have an out of the box iPhone 3G you should restore using a PwnageTool 4.0 ipsw using DFU mode. If you have a Jailbroken 3.1.3 iPhone 3G it is very possible that this can fail from recovery mode, if this failure happens you will need to restore using DFU mode. IMPORTANT! Whenever you need to enter DFU mode, you will need to do so using PwnageTool.

iPhone 3G and 3GS baseband unlockers (those who rely on ultrasn0w to make phone calls) should always be very wary to update their firmware, however our Ultrasn0w application will unlock all recent (including the current) 3GS and 3G baseband firmware versions, once you are jailbroken using PwnageTool 4.0, install ultrasn0w from Cydia and you’ll be unlocked. Remember! This baseband unlock situation is rare, should you upgrade your iPhone blindly at the next iOS release please don’t expect an unlock - but for now you are OK (whatever state your baseband is in).

As always, please BACKUP your device before you proceed. And just to protect myself, the author do not take responsibility or liable for any damage which might happen to any reader's devices. And JB will void your warranty so please proceed with caution and ask for advice before you go charging into the jungle. You can download the new Pawnage 4.0 Tool here via BT or un-official mirror site here & here.

Guide to iOS 4

Finally the new awaited iOS 4 had been released and here's a complete or at least major guide for those who is wondering what's new and if I should upgrade people. First and foremost, the upgrade only available for iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, iPod Touch 2nd & 3rd Gen users. For the multi-tasking feature, only iPhone 4, 3GS and 3rd Gen iPod Touch users are usable. You can upgrade directly from iTunes but first you need to upgrade your iTunes to the latest version 9.2 to do so. For those who is using an iPhone 3GS running on 3.1.3 with Spirit JB, please don't upgrade first as the JB for iOS4 isn't out yet. iPhone Dev Team did released the new UltraSn0w 0.93 but it's just an unlock and not JB. Take note.

Multitasking (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
The picture above shows the multitasking feature that comes with the new update. Try opening Safari and then tap the home button and close it. Open another application and double tap the home button and a menu tray as above will pop up from below. Tap on any of them to switch to the other app. To close the apps, you will just need to hold the icon and as usual, it will start to shake. A minus sign will appear and you can just touch on it and the app will be close. The interface is clean and neat. I am used to Circuitous so this is good.

Apps Folder or Customize (picture courtesy from Gizmodo)
This is a good feature as I can now throw all those useless apps into one folder and god-riddance to them. You just tap and hold the icon as how you arrange your icon now. Just place one icon on top of the other and it will automatically create a folder for them. It is so smart that it will choose a name for the folder based on the icon you had placed in it. Or you can just change them as you like by tapping on it. The maximum apps in a folder is 12 but it will only display 9 as above. A bit silly, I know. Hopefully they will fix this in the new update.
Improved Mail (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
The new mailbox when open, all the emails will be group by replies. For example you see above there's a numbering next to the mail, that shows how long is the thread. Tap on it and all the others will pop up. The other new feature would be the unified mailbox. Like me, I have my office mailbox, hotmail, yahoo and Gmail. And they will separate them one by one and it's a hassle to open them one by one. So now you can choose to see them all in one mailbox. It will also reply your mails according to your account. The phone is now smarter too with the new link feature. Tap on any dates and it will pop up on your events, or addresses and your map apps will pop up. Even if there's a tracking number, it will direct you to the UPS website. How cool is that. Another small add-on would be the contact picture on your email if you assigned a picture to the contact with their email. A small touch but it's quite thoughtful.
New iPod Control Interface (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
Since we can't bring up the iPod control with a double tap on the home button, as it's being replace by the multitasking feature. You will need to swipe through the drawer to find the iPod button and tap on it. It's not as fancy as the previous OS but this is the only what we got for now.
iBooks (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
Finally the iBook apps is available in iPhone. It's first appearance was in the iPad few months back. But it doesn't come standard with the iOS 4. What? Hold your pants. You will need to download it from the iTunes, and it's FOC. So for those who fancy reading books and all, this is your choice. At least you have the choice to choose not to have an additional unwanted apps in your phone, right?

Custom Home Screen Wallpaper (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
Finally we can change our home screen wallpaper, not that I can't change it with my JB iPhone now. But for those who don't wanna JB but hates the boring all black home screen, this is good news for you all. Just go into Settings then Wallpaper. You will see two icons which represent your current home screen and lock screen wallpaper. Click on them to choose picture from the wallpaper or from your library. For iPhone 3G, you won't have the wallpaper.

Digital Zoom (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
This feature is simple to use. Tap on the middle of the screen in camera mode and a slider will appear on the bottom like the picture shown. Slide right to enhance and left to reduce. Take note, it's digital zoom so, if you go 5X zoom, the picture will go blurry. And you can't zoom during Video mode, it's only focuses.

Toggle Cellular Data (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
Now you can turn ON/OFF your cellular data. Cause if you're going oversea and you just wanna use Wi-Fi, disable the Cellular Data option. Tethering is already available in Malaysia, so I am not going into this. You can just choose using cable or Bluetooth.
Add New Playlist (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
Finally I can add a new play list from my phone. It's such a hassle having to create a new play list only from my iTunes. I know there's the On-The-Go option, but you can only create one play list. Just follow the instruction on screen and you got your own play list in no time.

New Contact Outlook (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
The new contact page looks has more details and you don't have to go into sub menu to change them. This is good when you wanted to view the person's last name or company or even add a new number for the same contact.

Spell Check (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
Finally spell checking is available in the iPhone. A lot of people who migrate from conventional handphone are not used to the non-spell checker in the iPhone. So now, your wish are granted.
Character Count (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
To me this is not important but to some people who wanted to know how many words had they entered, here's something for you. You can also toggle your MMS feature for whatever reason you want to do that and also grouping of messages.
Custom Dictionary (picture courtesy of Gizmodo)
Now won't feel stupid when you try to tell your friend to "duck off" or they are a bunch of "ducking idiots". haha~ That does sound stupid. You can now add your own language in them but first you need to add a foreign language keyboard first in the International Keyboard menu. Silly, I know.

So here are some of the 100 new features (claimed by Apple) you are having when you upgrade to the new iOS 4. But again, for those fella who is on JB and wanted to remain JB, please don't update. For those who is on JB and do not want to JB anymore (for whatever reason), you can go to iTunes and RESTORE your iPhone to OS 3.1.3 and then only UPDATE to iOS 4 for a clean update without any problem. Or you can just plug in the cable and press iOS 4 and update. Whatever method, please let me know what you think of the new iOS 4. I know I am waiting for the GeoHot or Spirit or The Dev Team to come out with a JB before I decide to update or not. Cheers~!!!

Xien Jor Lor!!!

This is not good. I was preparing for RPM class tonight when I accidentally hit my left knee cap to the handle bar. I didn't think much of it since it doesn't hurt so much after some time. I managed to finished the class without any problem. So I thought it was alright. NO!! It was during Body Pump class when I did the Squats that I felt some pain on my knee. But the pain really kicks in during clean & press. I didn't managed to go too low on my squats during the back track. Not to mentioned the new lunge track was a killer too. But surprisingly, it doesn't hurt that much during that track. Huh? But I still felt the pain when I walked over to the locker. Thinking of not doing Body Step class or even Body Pump tomorrow. Aiya~ Xien Jor Lor~~~!!!

Been Busy

I think most of you all know that I got my keys 2 weeks back and now I am busy with sorting out the inspection of my house. In the mean time I had also been scouting around for some design for my kitchen. Been to IKEA to take some ideas and snapping some photos for reference too. But nothing seemed interesting though. But I am interested in their mirror though. Decided to place a freaking large mirror on my dinning wall. Hopefully it won't burn too much of my pocket for that. Just had a meeting with the temporary RA (residence association) for my place. Some issues are brought up and at we discussed about it together. I think that is the whole idea of setting up the temporary RA since the permanent one will only be up end of next year the earliest.

Some contractors walked by and introduced themselves when me and the others residence was checking out my house today. As usual, they parked nearby and once they saw anyone drove by, they will follow them and introduce themselves. Seemed a bit scary at the first time but well, you can't do anything bout that now. Got some initial pricing for the grills for the whole house and also the security back door. And last week when I went shopping with some friends they had recommended me to get a 46" LCD for the living room. I am so tempted to get it but it seemed like it's a bit too much. But it's gonna burst my initial budget again. So much to buy, so little budget to do it.

I Survived BS 80, RPM 47 & BP 74

As usual, it's the time of the months again. The launching of Les Mill's programs. This time around Empire Subang had the opportunity to gave the first launch for most of the programs (except BA & BB) in one night. Body Step was conducted by Prudent and Brian. The theme is 80s songs and 80s is what we got. Most of the songs are familiar but with a remix of course. Warm up was good with plenty of new moves. It gets confusing the first time but I guess we will get used of it after the 2nd week. Even the speed track wasn't that 'speedy' this time around. But heck, I like it. Both the instructors are energetic and making the launch a real treat for all of us there tonight. Kudos~!

Thanks to certain someone who helped me to registered for Lilian's RPM class. But surprisingly, there's two more bikes when the class starts. Maybe World Cup has something to do with this. LOLX!! The warm up was good with Ke$ha's TiK ToK. The first power track was good and really get the body all warm up. The mixed terrain track was really entertaining as we are being treated with Lilian's antics with the song, meet me half way. Track 5 is a remix version but heck it's energetic and with Lilian leading the way, what doesn't. The speed track was long and we are really pushed to the max. Finished off the tracks and quickly get myself ready for the next launch.

The house is pack with Swee & Brian leading the new Body Pump launch. All the bars are taken up and I think it's close to 60 members in the class that time. Had plenty of fun with Man Behind The Pillar joining. Warm up wasn't as strong as I imagine but it's alright. Squats track this time around doesn't have any bottom halves rather 2 counts hold at the bottom before going back up. Something new and at the end of the track, you know you need to add weight in this track. Particularly remembered the Back track because of something Brian said during the class. lolx~! I think the whole class laugh at that time. And you can add up for this track too although we have a 4 single wide rolls continued with 4 sets of 4 wide rolls after that. Do that for 3 sets with 4 clean & press in between. Britney is back for Triceps and this time around we don't have anything with the bar but rather push ups, dips and overhead press.

Biceps is a strong track with Boom Boom Pow bringing the house down. We have partial 3/4 and full range with singles in it. And yes, there's no break in this track. Good luck. Lunges is a killer this time around. Remembered BP 72? This is insane. Shoulders is good with push ups combos with the usual plates lift and finishing with overhead bars. Trust me it's tiring if you do it on your knees and on the bar during the push ups. Jason Derulo is in the house for Abs. Isn't that tough with the legs extension and sit ups ending with plank. Cooling down was the best part of the class of course. Didn't continued with Body Combat as the class was really pack and I don't think we can kick or move and that takes out the fun of the exercise. No worries, we still got 2 more weeks to go.

Apple's Mac® Mini (On Demand)

OK, the reason I am doing this review was on special request from someone (you know who you are).  Make sure you really gonna buy this baby after making me write this review. So here goes, the new Mac® mini. Apple® had finally unveiled the all new redesigned Mac® mini with lots of upgrades. It has twice the graphics performance compared to the previous model, a new HDMI port and a new SD card slot, all in an amazingly compact aluminum enclosure. They even claimed that the new Mac® mini is the world's most energy efficient desktop. It's not available yet in Malaysia, so you can either get it over at US and willing to fork out USD699 which come with Mac OS® X, iLife® or USD999 for Mac OS X Snow Leopard® Server.

"The sleek, aluminum Mac mini packs great features, versatility and value into an elegant, amazingly compact design," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. "With twice the graphics performance, HDMI support and industry-leading energy efficiency, customers are going to love the new Mac mini." Or that is what they always say. But you need to see and try it out for yourself to really feel it.

Let's get down and dirty now with this new baby. It's a unibody construction process pioneered by Apple themselves. The new Mac® Mini is so compact that it's just 7.7 inches square and 1.4 inches thin (thick). The new Mac® Mini also comes with an integrated power supply which eliminates the need for an external power adapter. This reduces the overall system volume by 20%. As you can see from above picture, the bottom part of the Mac® Mini has an easy access to the memory expansion. As usual Mac® Mini is able to connect to the existing peripherals i.e keyboards, digital display and even your magic mouse.

Did I mentioned that the new Mac® Mini also comes with a new HDMI output which can be connected to a HDTV. Finally a new SD card slot also makes life easy for users to transfer of photos and videos from their digital camera.

The new Mac® Mini is powered by the fastest integrated graphic processor in the market today. With it's 48 core processing, the NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor delivers up to twice the graphics performance of its predecessor, making Mac mini ideal for graphics intensive applications or visually rich games. Mac mini comes standard with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 320GB hard and 2GB of RAM for USD699.

The basic unit of the new Mac® Mini comes with:-
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3MB of shared L2 cache;
2GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM, expandable up to 8GB;
a slot-load 8X SuperDrive® (DVD+/-R DL/DVD+/-RW/CD-RW) optical drive;

Marina Bay Sand Casino

Was on business trip down South yesterday and decided to visit the new Marina Sand Bay Casino over at Singapore. Came out of Marina Bay MRT and trust me when I say you have to walk a distance over to the casino. This is the view of the casino and also the Marina Sand Bay Hotel.

No, this is not the casino. I was informed by a passer by that the tall building is the casino and I was asking myself, is this for real? I mean such a tall building. Then I realized that it's the hotel and the casino is opposite it. The hotel does look magnificent from where I stand.

OK, so this is the entrance of the shopping near going into the casino. Yes, you heard me right. The casino is located inside a shopping mall. How cool is that? Plenty of people strolling up and down doing their own business. Some for leisure some for gambling I guess.

This is how the inside looks like. Most of the shops hasn't started operating yet. Most of the shops are still under renovation. So I didn't go snoop around the place.

Went straight to the casino and saw some bugger kneeling down next to the table there. Is he lost or he lose all his money? It's the same over here as Sentosa, you need to show your passport to waive the SGD100 entrance fee. Once entered I realized that the casino is divided into 4 floors. This is the second floor and there's still one floor down and two floor up. Plenty of people inside but you don't feel too pack. Some restaurants are located inside if you wanted to have some bite half way through. Saw a new table called Singapore Stud Poker. It's a nice place since it's located inside a mall I guess.

Who Turned Off The Lights?

So there we are standing there in the dark half way through the warm up during Master T Body Combat last night. No one can answer what happened and the instructor need to walked out and get someone to get the light back on. I did BS and BP class and there wasn't any sign of this blackout. After 5 minutes, we managed to get the lights back on. So we wasted 5 minutes through the class. So is this the last we will see (or rather not seeing anything) of this sudden blackout? Guess again. The lights went off again during track 2 and on again and off again. I had lost count of how many time the lights went on and off last night. Finally someone figured out what might have caused the problem. We tried turning off half of the lights in the room and everything was A all right through out the class. This means that something is wrong with the circuit breaker as it constantly cutting in or there's something wrong with the wiring or some devices are short circuited. I did suggested that we do a Twilight theme class since the trilogy is coming out next month. lolx~!!!

iPhone 4 & iOS 4

Steve Job had announced during Apple's WWDC (World Wide Developer Conference) 2010 keynote of several agenda. But the one which I am waiting for is the unveiling of the anticipated iPhone 4. The new iPhone 4 is just 9.3mm thick. It's 24% thinner than the current iPhone 3GS. Just when we all thought that iPhone 3GS couldn't be anymore thinner, he amazed us again with the new iPhone 4. In fact, it's the thinnest smartphone in the entire world. The new iPhone 4 comes with a front-facing camera, microSIM (hopefully someone other than Maxis comes out with this), camera with LED Flash (it's a start), headset and a secondary mic for noise cancellation purposes. From the previous leaked picture of the iPhone 4, a lot of people had been asking why are there lines on the edges of the phone he asked during the keynote. Well the answer would be a new technology which antennas are integrated into the structure of the phone. How cool is that.

The stainless steel body signify strength with glass on both front and back of the casing. Apple increased the pixel density dramatically by 4 times with the same amount of space. The new iPhone 4 has a 3.5" display with 960x640 pixels. That is 326 pixels per inch or 800:1 contrast. The new iOS 4 will automatically make iPhone apps work on a higher resolution Retina display too. The new iPhone 4 is powered by the new A4 chip. With a bigger battery and better power management by A4, the new iPhone 4 said to improve in it's battery life. 7hours in 3G talk, 6hours 3G browsing, 10hours WiFi browsing, 10hours movie, 40hours of music and 300hours of standby mode.

iPhone 4 powered by A4, 32GB internal memory, quad-band HSDPA/HSUPA, dual mics, 802.11n connectivity. It also come with a three-axis gyroscope which means, the new iPhone 4 has accelerometer together with GPS and all together 6-axis motion sensing. Gaming on smartphone wouldn't be the same anymore. The smartphone comes with a camera with 5x digital zoom which include a LED Flash and HD video recording (eat that SE Viva). Here's something strange, where the video call on works under WiFi. But we all know bout that beforehand if you'd been following up with the news. The video call works in both portrait and landscape mode.

The new iPhone 4 comes with two basic color black and white. The price will be set at $199 16GB and $299 for 32GB. I was hoping for a bigger capacity like 64GB though. The new iPhone 4 goes on sales on June 24 and pre-order starts a week from tomorrow. It will only be available in 5 countries for the time being, US, France, Germany, UK & Japan (why Japan??). It will go on sale in 18 countries in July, more countries in August and 44 countries after September. This time around, Apple will be selling the casing for iPhone 4 which they called bunker for $29. Good news, the iOS 4 will be out on the 21 June. So better be ready for it.

The Keys To A New Beginning

Today I'd finally collected the keys to my home. Yup, that is a bunch of keys which I collected from the township. Paid the deposits and I was given the loose fittings, car stickers and access card to my house.

Wasted no time and drove over to check have a look at my new house. Finally I stepped into my house 'legally'. The workmanship is acceptable from the first inspection I did. Found one defect on a piece of vinyl in one of the bedroom. No cracks or water marks yet (fingers cross). Will do the water test when water is connected by Syabas. Damn, the car porch looks so wide from here.

Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time

This could be one of the first game I had ever played on a computer as far as I could remembered that is. The game with the same name, was out during my primary years. And trust me, it's way long ago. Now we have the game in PS3 and also XBox 360 with superb graphics and gameplay. Now the movie is out and damn I am gonna watch it in the big screen. The movie started of with King Sharaman (King of Persia) who had two sons, Tus and Garsiv. One day as he adopted a kid from the market named Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal). After 15 years, the prince had grown up and together with their uncle Nizam (Ben Kingsley) as their adviser the Persian won a lot of war. During an invasion of the land of Alamut, they were led to believed that the kingdom of Alamut are selling arms to their enemy and invaded them. Alamut is a sacred place with a secret mission to protect the Sand of Time. Princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) is the guardian of the place.

The story line is plain and easy to follow. Don't need no genius to understand the plot here. You can predict the whole story even from the start of the movie. But that is not a bad thing. As long as you have a good cast and also good story line to go with it. Plenty of laughs to carry you along the movie so you won't feel so bored even when you know what will happen next. Honestly I had more fun watching this than Clash of The Titans. So if you're free on the weekends and it's still in the cinema, do try to give it a try and let me know what you think.

I Luv The Feeling

My calves are so sore after last night's class. Trust me when I said it's sore. It's already my usual regime to go back to back classes almost each and every day of the week but last Friday was different. Different as I had decided to joined Body Attack after more than a year of absence. I was really reluctant to joined in the beginning but was able to coaxed myself to try it out. Trust me, RPM, BA and BP combo is crazy. I did RPM, BS and BP and even BC previously and it doesn't hurt like this. Maybe my body still hasn't got used of the new workout yet. It's Sunday and my calves are still sore. I hate the soreness but love the feeling as I hasn't felt this way for a long time.

Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior

After playing with Street Fighter IV for months I had finally managed to find another fighting game which I can say that I am hooked on nowadays. It's called Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior by Digital Legend. I think everyone is familiar with the name by now. Or you'd been living in the moon all this while. There are few game mode which you can choose from. There's the story mode, arcade, versus, time attack, survival and some free sparring in the training room. I would recommend the story mode to start with as you can unlock a lot of new moves and also characters along the way. In the story mode, you will be able to choose to go along the story or opt to accept challenges from fighters along the path to the final stage. The graphics isn't the best in town but again, it's not just about the graphic but the moves are so nicely executed and I can say that it may really do the late Bruce justice in some way.

In the Story mode, you played as Bruce all the way to the end. You will start with meeting/fighting with Shen Lo and meeting The Master who teaches him some moves. Fight with some local thugs like Small Boy, Sin Fu, Johnson to some serious bad-ass fighters like The Chief, Lo Ming and eventually the World Champion Brick Davis to name a few. There's a lot of achievements to unlock which is really fun. There's this Style Editor which you can edit the moves of Bruce with the other fighters. It may be tough to start with but once you get the hand of it, it's so darn cool. Seeing Bruce perform his even famous finishing moves and also grabbing styles.

Control wise, it's simple as hell. There's just jab and kicks. You have high and low punches and kicks according to the directions you're pressing the key of course. Simple directional combo with kicks or punches to execute some nicely design move like the one above here. His trademark single fist move to the belly. I had finished playing the game and all the unlocks are done but still playing with it cause it's really that entertaining. And it's only USD4.99 which is half the price you paid for Street Fighter IV.

Show Me My Keys

It was 2 weeks back when I got to know that the developer are dividing the hand over for the houses into two batches. First would be early June and the other would be early July. I was really excited bout it but thought that I would be on the second batch since I signed my S&P quite late (Apr 09). I assumed that they would go according to the date of which our S&P are signed. Some of the forumer asked me to called up to the township department to ask and I did (like 10 times) and finally managed to get through. Talked with one of the guy and he was so nice to helped me checked and called me back to inform me that I am in the first batch of people getting their keys. Was totally excited hearing the great news.

So now, I will need to wait for the bank to release the final payment to the developer, which would be around 7 - 10 days from now. After that, I will need to settle some fees and down payment with the developer. I didn't know that TNB down payment would be so costly (RM490), maybe cause my house is running on 3 phase. After parting with my money, I will be issued some sort like a clearance letter from the Township department before giving me my key to my house. Woo Hoo~!! After that, it would be inspection time and hopefully (praying hard, fingers cross) that the workmanship is good and not much defect. And finally renovation time ($$$) and hopefully if nothing goes wrong, moving into my new house before X'mas.
