IN a season of blockbuster sequels at cineplexes in the Klang Valley, a sequel of a different sort has come all too soon to Package II of Middle Ring Road 2 in Kepong. It's a big-budget production (RM238 million to build and RM70 million in repairs, so far), the heroes and villains are well known, there's a cast of thousands and the plot is all too familiar, as the footage of massive traffic jams, promise of a probe and assurance of action in the latest sequel on Sunday attest.

On the other hand, we have another annual event coming to us soon, which is the Annual Haze Day. I am not sure if you had encountered any lately but some of my friends did encountered some really serious ordeal. My customer told me that the situation in Penang was really bad. As they can't even saw the island from Butterworth. Well we can always count on our neighbouring country to put up a good smoke every year. So many steps and measures had been taken but still there are still some irresponsible people who practice open burning now days.

What else is on the news now days? I am not going into the DSAI case as it's too dramatic for me. It's like Infernal Affair, you can't really know whose the bad guy or good guys in here. For me it's a high profile drama unfolding and all will come to an end once there is a verdict on the re-election on the Permatang Pauh seat.

Penang CM Vs. Ex-Penang CM? My advice, just let bygones be bygones. Don't waste time investigating what the previous government had done, just concentrate on how to make it better now. There's no point, pointing fingers on each other but rather work together to develop the island more.
