Si Beh Sui~!

This is a post long over due since it happened exactly one week ago. Well thinking back right now does make me felt a bit happy right since all the bad luck had passed. So my story started last Monday when I realized that my road tax expired on the day itself. Dang~! Luckily I got my lunch buddy with me who has contact to renew my insurance through the phone for me. But I still can't renew my road tax since the car registration card is not with me and the post office gonna close soon. Why can't I renew it the next day, well cause I have a last minute appointment down South after lunch hour which requires me to drive down early in the morning before the post office opens. Dang~!

So I 'slowly' drove and hopes that there's no road block on my way down. When I just started to felt a bit relieved since I am just a couple of hundred kilometers form JB, I heard a loud noise. I thought it was a stone hitting onto my car but I got suspicious and decided to stop the car and have a look. Damn~! I got a flat tire and I am rushing for my lunch appointment. So I quickly get all the tools out and changed to my spare tire. Well at least my spare tire is still able to make the journey down.

Renewed my road tax and just realized that my driving license had expired more than 3 weeks. WTH?!! This month had been too hectic for me till I forgot all bout anything else. Remembered the meeting I was supposed to have for the trip? Well after a long discussion and a few drinking session, the client decided to put the whole thing on hold. WTF? After all the work and time me and my company had put in, he decided to put it on hold. Sigh~! Speechless~!!! But at least my I managed to secured another deal while I am down there.

Reached the usual hotel I am staying and while I am checking in, the front desk told me that the room I was supposed to be in had a blardy beam right in the middle of the room. So I decided to upgrade my room to Deluxe and he told me it's the last room on the floor next to the Exit with a number 24. And when I wanna changed back to my original room he told me that he found out that the room haven't been clean yet. WTH? So I got no choice and upgrade and stayed on the last room of the floor. Well since I am not that superstitious, I guess this is alright. haha! Ya, after all this complaint and I am not superstitious.

Other than all the above, my trip had actually been quite nice and fruitful. Since I managed to closed another deal and traveling down Singapore to meet up with my friends. And I think I meet with Stephanie S while I am sipping my coffee too. Now, that is the highlight of the trip. haha! All Wells Ends Well I guess.

Lost & Found

It was Friday morning and I was getting ready to work. As I was walking out from my porch to open the front gate, I saw something furry on the next house pillar. Initially I thought that it was a lost puppy and when I walked closer, I realized that it was a 'labbit'. I was thinking whether to bring it in or just leave it as I was worried someone would make 'satey' tonight out of this furry creature. No time to decide as I need to leave. So I text babe and told her about this. She as a caring animal lover as always, drove over my place in search of the labbit. After some time of searching high and low, she managed to locate 'him' behind a sand hill 2 houses from mine. So she kept the labbit inside the toilet and poured him some water. Seemed like the labbit was really thirsty after his 'adventure' out that morning.

Babe saw some kid from across the street searching for something early on but didn't managed to find him to ask what he was looking for. We suspect it was the labbit. Decided to keep the labbit for the time being and babe also drop a message at the front guard house of our finding and asked to be inform if anyone reported a missing pet. Made a shout out in my community forum too but no one seemed to know anything. A lot of people seemed interested in the labbit and wanted to adopt him. This include babe too. But the next day, as I was cleaning my porch, I saw the lil kid and quickly walked over to asked if he lost anything. He told me a white & black labbit. I told him I found the labbit and it's in my bathroom. He quickly throw everything in hand and rush over my place. Return the labbit to him and the father walked over to thanked us. Felt really nice knowing that we help someone reuniting with their love ones~! ^^

A Good Holiday

It's a bit late but it's still the festive season so here goes. Wishing my readers a Prosperous & Wonderful Chinese New Year. A lot happened during this few days of festive season. Went back to my hometown, meet my grandparents, cousins and nephews and friends. But didn't really have much time meeting them either. Most of the time I spent at home with my relatives and cousins. And did I mentioned there's plenty of food single day? I do mean tons of cook food all the time. Imagine waking up everyday and having 5 to 6 meals a day. I mean other than eat it's just sleeping and updating our status with the cousins. But hell, we all are connected through FB, even my aunt and uncles. So most of us know what is happening among our family. Came back on Saturday and managed to catch up with my friends before they leave. Catch a CNY movie today and gonna be back to work tomorrow. Already been receiving calls from my boss and customers today for stuff to follow up tomorrow. What a quick weekend rest for me. Now it's time to work again~ Ganbateh~!

Why?

What happened when I skipped 2 weeks of Body Pump class? Legs shaking during yesterday night's back track. My legs was a bit not the usual form during Squats but I didn't give much thought to it. The back track is not even a tough track as we're doing 'Why'. My right leg started to wobbled during the start of the track and both legs were shaking madly towards the end. Gosh~ I told Marcos my legs were shaking after the class and we laugh about that. Didn't joined RPM after that as I wanted to rest my legs for tomorrow's classes. Hopefully I can get back in shape next week to do some back to back classes.

One of thos days

Sorry for the lack of updates lately as I time is really catching up on me nowadays. No I am not dying. Duh~! I mean I don't have enough time to work, rest and blog that's all. Anyway, my last post tells of my trip to Taiwan with my babe. After the trip we are back to our normal routine of work and family. As for me, I am rushing for my house renovation as the contractor is delaying the work while I am away on holiday. Had to go over almost everyday for the whole week to check on the progress and kept calling him up. All the traveling, driving, work and gym might had exhausted myself without me realizing it. Hence, I am sick like a dead rat this week. It started off with a mild fever with me shivering cold at the middle of the night and some minor sore throat. Well this is all a sign of major sickness coming my way from my pass experience. Drank lots of water and sore throat is gone. Decided to visit the doc and she told me that I should experience diarrhea in these few days time. Damn, she's good. I went right to the loo once I reached home that day. And I had been having no appetite these few days due to the antibiotics which she gave me. Now I am hungry, weak, tasteless, lost of appetite, exhausted and still have to get my arse up from the bed to work every morning and still make time to go monitor my house progress everyday. I hope that my life would return to normal soon or I am going to die of exhaustion.

Renewing My Passport

Not being any different from my fellow Malaysians, I had decided to renew my passport almost at the last second before my trip. Since I know that they can renew my passport within a day, I had decided to take my own sweet time. But I need to confirm my itinerary beforehand, hence I need to renew it earlier than I expected. Anyway, I just found out that we have this Kiosk machine available at selected branches of the immigration department for renewing your passport. So I went over to Pusat Bandar Damansara and give it a try. Arrived around 9.15am and went straight to Block I. You can see Giant hypermarket on your left the Kiosk a.k.a KIPPAS (Kiosk Pembaharuan Passport) is opposite it. Don't bother looking for parking anywhere above, just go straight to basement 4 and below. Since all the above are reserved parking anyway.
Make sure you got all the documents:-
  1. Old Passport (make sure you are having the chip build in at the last page cover)
  2. MyKad (the one with the smart chip in build)
  3. Photocopy of your MyKad front & back (on the same page)
  4. 1 x Passport Photograph of yourself
  5. Bring Cash (RM300 for 5 years & RM100 for 1 year)
  6. Pen, as there are no pen for you to fill in the envelope on your details later.
Word of advice, make sure that the photocopy of your MyKad is visible and clear. Make sure the passport picture of yourself is valid and check with the  photo shop. Bring extra cash as some of the cash might not be accepted by the machine (similar to our cash deposit machines).

Once arrive, make sure you get an envelope from the side table to write your full name, I.C number and contact number on it. Then walk over to the Kiosk machine (4 machines and pray that most of them are working) and touch the screen to choose the language.

  1. Insert your old passport into the slot and it will be read. Most of the time, you won't encounter any problem at this early stage unless your passport isn't the new one with the build in chip.
  2. Insert your MyKad into the slot with the chip in first with your picture facing up. Most of the time, problem will start here. I tried mine twice and only got it on the third. Try cleaning the chip surface with an eraser or just your finger. And pray hard that it is readable or you're gonna do it manually.
  3. Place your right hand thumb on the scanner to verify. Ladies, make sure you hands are dry and don't applied moisturizer or stuff on it beforehand. I heard it will make the scanning process difficult.
  4. You can retrieve both your passport and MyKad at this point and take out your cash (either RM10 or RM50 notes only). Choose either 1 year renewal or 5 years and slot in the cash. And please, not all at the same time or you're gonna jam the machine and everyone behind you are gonna kill you for that.
  5. Place your old passport, photocopy of MyKad, passport picture into the envelope and slot it into the place instructed. You will be given a piece of resit and notify of the time to collect it. It's written there, one hour after the deposit, but I think better make it 2 hours to be safe unless you are waiting over at that place.
I am now waiting in my office and it's almost time to collect my new passport. I hope that all the documents and papers are in order or I am going to be very mad later. This KIPPAS really beat the hassle of waking up early and having to queue up with the rest of the people to get a number (which normally only serve 150 people a day). One good thing about doing it the old fashion way is that, they will check all your documentations and make sure everything is in order before you leave. Anyway, it's a new thing for me and hope that this post gives some ideas to those whose gonna renew their passport soon an option. Cheers~!

Updates:-
So I came back around lunch hour although the resit asked me to come back after an hour after the deposit of the envelope. You will need to go to 2nd floor to collect your new passport. You will need to go to Counter 17 and pass them your resit (from the Kiosk machine) and they will give you a running number. Now pray that their system is not down or you're gonna spend a long time over here. Don't worry if your number is far from the current one as they don't follow the running numbers. The guy from Counter 16 will call you over and now will need to present your MyKad and verify again with your right hand thumb on the scanner. Walla~ you're done. He will give you your new passport and you are off to go home. It took me around 25 minutes to complete the whole process. Long? Well, it's alright for me. Beats doing it the manual way in fact.

I Got Punk-ed???

Heard a knock on the door around 10pm and I when looked through the hole it was pitch black. *strange*. Didn't gave it much thought and open the door with the latch still on but I still can't see who the fark was on the other side. I thought it was my colleague as we just got back from dinner 20 minutes back. When I opened the door, I saw one guy who turned out to be a women and another guy who showed me their ID and told me they are policemen. WTH?!!! They told me that they received report that there are China Dolls in my hotel room? WTF?!!! Is this for real? So the women (who look like a men) talked to me while the other Malay guy looked around my room. I am standing between them cause I suspect something was amidst at that point but I can't confirm it. The guy asked for my identification card and jotted it down on a piece of paper while the women (did I mentioned she looked like a guy?) asking me questions.

Few minutes later when they can't find anything, another Malay guy walked in and told me the same story and since they can't find anything in my room, they have no choice but leave. I am all the while looking at them as I am worried that they might steal something from my room during the whole charade. Luckily I'd checked and nothing was lost. But what is that all about? I asked my colleague and he did told me that police actually can't do a spot check or come into my room to do a check. I should actually called the hotel to confirm of this before letting them in at that point. But the whole police stuff caught me off guard as I was a bout to sleep at that moment. I mean, what can they do even if they saw some women in my room? I can just told them that we are friend or meet some where. Duh~! I think I got punk-ed~!

Renovation Week

Why am I so quiet lately? Same old answer, busy lor~! Busy with compiling my house renovation most of the time. I am now getting quotes from another contractor for the whole house and hopefully this time around the renovation work can really materialize (fingers cross). There are so many added costing which I didn't really considered previously. For instance, the kitchen's sink and taps. Been visiting some shops the pass few week comparing brands and finally (90%) decided which brand to take. Luckily I found a shop which sells very cheap down light fittings and light bulbs thanks to the people from my forum. I was really surprised when I realized that I need 47 down light fittings the whole house which mean 94 light bulbs for the whole house. Bleeding, my wallet is really bleeding. There goes a few thousand just on the lighting side. Other than these, I would also need to purchase water heaters, air conditions, ceiling fans and outdoor water filter. Everything is money~! Sigh!!

Gone In 5 Minutes

For those who read my FB status would had know what happened to me or rather company today. As usual, me and my colleague had a long meeting on a Monday morning and we decided to have lunch after that. So all of us traveled out around 12.40pm for lunch leaving one of our staff back to look after the office. When we are back around 2.10pm, my colleague called me up and told me that all our laptops are STOLEN. I was about to step out of the lift when he called. So I walked in and saw all four of our laptops are gone. Only two were left as it was an old model. WTF~! So we went over to the security office and view the CCTV. There were two Indian man who came over and while one of the man distracted my staff, another one went in and stole all our laptops.

One of them initially came in and informed my staff that they are sent over by the management to look at our air condition. As there are a foul smell coming out from our air cond or part of our office since Friday. We suspect that the smell was actually plant by them for the whole scheme. Then half way through he informed my staff that he need to go down to register with the guard and asked my staff to go with her. Strangely she followed him down and confirmed locking the door before she left. The guard couldn't be found and he finally left without saying a word and my staff went back up. Strangely again, she didn't noticed that out laptops are missing till we are back from lunch. The CCTV show that an Indian man came out with a big bag which we suspect containing our laptops inside and walked out of our compound. The Police told us that there are some cases at Sg. Buloh with the same modus operandi. Now we are all without laptops and it is so inconvenient for all of us sales person as all our sales tools are inside. Xien jor~~!!!!

I Am Exhausted

It had been a hectic weekend for me again as I had so much in my head. First and foremost, I would like to wish my good friend Eva's daughter, Emma Choi, Happy Birthday. Really sorry that I was late but I had totally forgotten of the birthday dinner. It proves how much stuff are running in my head. I am also finalizing the design for my kitchen and wardrobe design last week. There are still some changes on the kitchen cabinets as I am maximizing the drawers system and also minimizing my cost at the same time. At the same time, registering babe's new company as she is going to start her own business soon. Thanks again to MD for introducing me to his locksmith and getting some good quote for the pad locks and key system. At the same time, I meet up with the contractors on Sunday to get a second (or rather third) opinion on my house's renovation. This weekend is too short for me and I am so tired right now. Working again tomorrow and hopefully I can start on my 'project' and hopefully everything will fall into place. For those who are involve, thanks a lot for your help. You know who you are babes~

Mad Rush At The Gym

Fitness First at Empire these few days had been really quiet. Fasting started last week but you can see those lil traffic in the gym still appearing at some corner. But since Monday, you can really see the difference. Why? I think it's because of the expensive car park charges that Empire Gallery had imposed that's why! The rate for basement parking starts from RM1.50 for the first hour and RM1 for the consecutive hours. Even if it's just one minute over the first, they will charge you for the second. This had been proven by my friend yesterday night. I think she is still hitting her chest because of this. lolx~!! As for the Premium parking which I normally park (previously), the charges is RM3.50 for the first hour and RM2.00 for the consecutive hours or some where around that figure.

So for me who is doing back to back classes like yesterday night (3 classes) I would at least be paying for 4 hours which comes up to RM4.50. And I even have to rush to take a bath after the last class with a couple of minutes just to spare. Nowadays, we do not have the leisure to hang around the pantry to have some chat session or cooling down as every minutes count. This is no small amount (at least for me) as I am going to Empire for 5 days a week and joined at least 10 to 11 classes. I am paying around RM18 per week and it's RM72 for a month. Top that up with my monthly gym charges and it's close to RM250 (excluding tolls and mileage). Well you do the math. Will I still be going back? Well most probably, maybe just cutting down the classes and cutting short the conversation and cool down. So what's my suggestion? Request FF to give their members flat rate for the parking. Some sort like Menara Axis previously. But please install the machine inside the gym and not outside (DUH!!).

StarBorn Clubbing Party 2010

So how did I passed my Saturday night? Clubbing of course. OK, that doesn't really sound like me but that is what I did last night. Romiko was invited to this event organized by Bernard from Line Dance Funk class. It is an annual event where all the members from his class gathered and dance for hours in a booked disco. If I am not mistaken, they were in Coco Cabana last year. This year around it was held at Mist Club in Bangsar. The party started around 5pm with dinner for all the members and they started the event around 6pm. This year around, Bernard managed to gathered his members from not only Fitness Fitness but also My Fitness and also Sport Toto Berjaya Time Square fitness. I think the crowd come close to 200 people last night. Fitness Fitness members from KBT is the most happening that night as they came in dressed in High School theme. So imagine a bunch of guys and gals wearing school uniform busting their moves on the dance floor. Hot~!!!!

Why is it so good? Cause the dance floor is so awesome, they are all dancing in the same manner and moves. Cause the songs played are those that he taught in his class. We have songs from Pitbull, Jay Sean, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Shakira and even Wonder Girls. I am really surprised how the members are so high when they heard Justin's Baby song. Shakira's Wakaka Wakaka is the newest dance move which he taught I was told. You can see the members are as young as early 20s to 60s. Yes, I saw some ladies moving their body that night and trust me, we don't see these everyday. I am really impressed and salute those who are so brave to dance that night as I am not that bold. The night end around 10.30pm with tons of gifts given away during the lucky draw and we're even featured in a local TV channel as they came to cover the event. How cool~!

My Long Week

As you can see, it's been a week since my last post. Why? As always, my lack of posting would only because of work. It was really a pack week for me as I was put together with my colleague to 'babysit' my principle from India. The schedule was really pack as we start with a seminar on Monday morning and  then another two the next day before traveling up to Lumut for a seminar the next day. The resort suck in term of service big time. After the seminar we quickly packed up as we need to checked in Cherating that night. Our last seminar would be on Thursday morning at Cherating before back to KL. It was really a long drive and rush for all of us. Well at least me and my colleague drove the whole way. We had another long meeting on Friday morning for the week's seminar closing up. During lunch I'd told my marketing that the schedule was really hectic and she told me I am considered lucky. As my manager previously traveled around Malaysia the whole week for 2 seminar in one day and flew to KK the following week. They did around 12 seminars in a week. So my 3 seminar in 3 days? I close my case~!

Malaysia International Food & Beverage Trade Fair @ PWTC

One fine morning, as I was surfing the net in the morning, a friend text me to go to this trade fair in PWTC. It is the 11th Malaysia International Food & Beverage Trade fair in PWTC. I still remembered I was one of the participants during their last exhibition. Damn, there were so much food to test and I got a sore throat just after half a day over there. So this time, I have the experience to guide me through this long journey of food wonder. Drink more water~! haha!!The first place which I visited would be the Taiwan's Pavilion or more precise Tai Chung. There were quite a number of crowd in certain booth as they are giving out free tasting to the visitors.

This is a booth which displays a lot of nice colored Korean donuts. At first glance, you would guess that the place is selling donuts, but in reality they are not. They are actually selling the cooking machine for preparing the donuts. But you can have some free tasting for the donuts of course. This is one of the most 'visited' booth around Tai Chung Pavilion. Now you know why.

This is also a good booth to visit as they are the only booth around which showcase ice cream. You can try their ice cream which I do recommend as it's not that expensive. It's only RM2/scoop with that black stuff on the top. No it's not the black pearl in your bubble tea. They have a few flavors like Vanilla, Mocha, Chocolate and Tiramisu.

This is how one scoop of their ice cream looks like. I managed to coaxed them of giving me a scoop of Tiramisu FOC. How? Aiya~ Cannot tell you la, later everyone also use my trick, spoil the market la. haha! It's really smooth and soft and that black thingy really add some texture to it. It's soft and burst when you bite on it. Very fascinating.

They have everything preserved nowadays. This booth are showing their preserved Dried To Fu, Duck Eggs, Salted Duck Eggs, Milk Eggs and Hot Spring Eggs (what the hell is this??). First bite is quite good but towards the end, it's a bit too dry for me. This is some sort like a snack while watching the idiot box I guess.

A map of Taiwan made out of ...

Nasi Lemak~ Yes, they are that creative. Don't you think Taiwan map looks something like our country?

Finally I saw a square watermelon before I die. haha~! I was very intrigued by this square shape watermelon for quite some time. Since I saw it in the internet and movies before. I thought this could only be found in Japan, but heck, nowadays, it's quite common I think. Maybe they can make a love shape watermelon next time. Now, that is something that you don't see everyday. haha~!

Overall, I spent 3 hours or so over eating, I mean testing foods and drinks. My tongue is a bit numb towards the end as I totally lost count of how many coffee I had that day. My gosh, there are so many type of local made coffee in the market. Well, not locally anyway, but exported out to oversea. So for those food lovers who wanted to try some of the overseas snacks, make a trip over PWTC this weekend. You have exhibitors from Taiwan, South Korea, South Africa, China, Singapore and some other middle east countries. Enjoy~!

RPM Marathon @ Empire

It's been a week since I did RPM Endurance, and last night I'd joined the RPM Marathon which is a 2 hours class. As usual, I did Body Step for warm up before the main event. The queue wasn't that bad compared to last week's RPM Endurance class. There were only around 10 members queuing up after the Body Step class. The RPM Marathon class is instructed by June & Stephanie last night. There were a total of 22 tracks I think. Tracks selection for the first half was a bit Deja Vu while the second half of the class seemed a bit saturated. My opinion, it was due to the track selection which was not that intense and unfamiliar. Let's be frank now, RPM stands for Riding with Powerful Music, and when there's no Powerful Music, there's no fun in it. I sweat quite a lot during the first half and my puddle of sweat dried up during the second half. There were some good tracks towards the end like California Dreaming, Summer Rain & Heaven but it's a bit too late towards the end. I think some of the other hardcore members agreed with me after the class too. Anyhow, it was a good experience and the  instructors gave us their best and I admire that. Gonna ride with Mickey Mouse and Herny tonight at Uptown for the RPM Marathon again (hopefully) and looking forward for next week's RPM Ironman at The Curve.

Back Online

As I mentioned earlier last week, my desktop suddenly failed on me one night. I'd suspected that it's either the main board or hard disk which caused the problem. After passing my CPU to my cousin to checked, he had confirmed that it's my main board issue. He found that there's some corrosion and burned mark in some parts of the board. I guess it's due to the flood which happened during my stay at SS2 previously. Some water or moisture had sipped in and corroded my board slowly. So I had changed a new main board and everything is fine. Thinking of adding another 500GB HDD for back up since the price are so darn cheap nowadays.

Since he's installing the new board, he helped me to upgrade my OS to Windows 7 which is so cool. Yes, I only just started using the new OS now. Solve the main board issue and now back to my back ups. All my musics and back up files for my phones are running under Vista and it's unable to boot now. But luckily I can still access the file from the new OS. Exporting or migrating the old back up files to the new iTunes is damn messy. Songs are overlapping and jumbled up. Sigh~! Spent whole night arranging everything and creating the playlists again.

Do You Wanna Hear Something Scary?

I was at the gym tonight when K-Bear walked over and asked me, "Wanna hear something scary?". "You tried to commit suicide is it?", I replied. Haha~! So she start explaining her "theory" to me and after hearing it, I asked her, "Do you REALLY wanna hear something scary?". It's about what I had for dinner during my trip down South these 3 days. For the first night I went over Shih Lin (the Taiwan snack) and ordered one XXL Crispy Chicken, Oyster Mee Sua and a bottle of mineral. I ordered additional rice box set with another bottle of V Soy for supper. Not too scary right? Well I am just getting warm up on my first night. On the second night, I went over KFC and ordered their Deluxe set which consist of a piece of fried chicken (thigh) and a Zinger burger with fries on the side. In addition I ordered another Zinger, the new Pocket of Sunshine and Cheesy Wedges to take back to the hotel for supper. Now tell me if that's NOT scary!! And for lunch today, I ordered two chicken deluxe burger from A&W with curly fries and root beer. I think I can stay away from fast food for a month now.

Xien Jor Lor!!!

This is not good. I was preparing for RPM class tonight when I accidentally hit my left knee cap to the handle bar. I didn't think much of it since it doesn't hurt so much after some time. I managed to finished the class without any problem. So I thought it was alright. NO!! It was during Body Pump class when I did the Squats that I felt some pain on my knee. But the pain really kicks in during clean & press. I didn't managed to go too low on my squats during the back track. Not to mentioned the new lunge track was a killer too. But surprisingly, it doesn't hurt that much during that track. Huh? But I still felt the pain when I walked over to the locker. Thinking of not doing Body Step class or even Body Pump tomorrow. Aiya~ Xien Jor Lor~~~!!!

Been Busy

I think most of you all know that I got my keys 2 weeks back and now I am busy with sorting out the inspection of my house. In the mean time I had also been scouting around for some design for my kitchen. Been to IKEA to take some ideas and snapping some photos for reference too. But nothing seemed interesting though. But I am interested in their mirror though. Decided to place a freaking large mirror on my dinning wall. Hopefully it won't burn too much of my pocket for that. Just had a meeting with the temporary RA (residence association) for my place. Some issues are brought up and at we discussed about it together. I think that is the whole idea of setting up the temporary RA since the permanent one will only be up end of next year the earliest.

Some contractors walked by and introduced themselves when me and the others residence was checking out my house today. As usual, they parked nearby and once they saw anyone drove by, they will follow them and introduce themselves. Seemed a bit scary at the first time but well, you can't do anything bout that now. Got some initial pricing for the grills for the whole house and also the security back door. And last week when I went shopping with some friends they had recommended me to get a 46" LCD for the living room. I am so tempted to get it but it seemed like it's a bit too much. But it's gonna burst my initial budget again. So much to buy, so little budget to do it.

Marina Bay Sand Casino

Was on business trip down South yesterday and decided to visit the new Marina Sand Bay Casino over at Singapore. Came out of Marina Bay MRT and trust me when I say you have to walk a distance over to the casino. This is the view of the casino and also the Marina Sand Bay Hotel.

No, this is not the casino. I was informed by a passer by that the tall building is the casino and I was asking myself, is this for real? I mean such a tall building. Then I realized that it's the hotel and the casino is opposite it. The hotel does look magnificent from where I stand.

OK, so this is the entrance of the shopping near going into the casino. Yes, you heard me right. The casino is located inside a shopping mall. How cool is that? Plenty of people strolling up and down doing their own business. Some for leisure some for gambling I guess.

This is how the inside looks like. Most of the shops hasn't started operating yet. Most of the shops are still under renovation. So I didn't go snoop around the place.

Went straight to the casino and saw some bugger kneeling down next to the table there. Is he lost or he lose all his money? It's the same over here as Sentosa, you need to show your passport to waive the SGD100 entrance fee. Once entered I realized that the casino is divided into 4 floors. This is the second floor and there's still one floor down and two floor up. Plenty of people inside but you don't feel too pack. Some restaurants are located inside if you wanted to have some bite half way through. Saw a new table called Singapore Stud Poker. It's a nice place since it's located inside a mall I guess.
