FF Empire's New Spinner Bike

Finally the old bikes are replaced by the new ...
This is something new for us RPM members as I need to do trial and error on the height and distance of the saddle from the handle bar and all. This bike is similar to the one which TF is using right now. It's not our old 'resistance bike' but rather a 'spinner bike'. After a class with the bike I notice that the resistance level do not some time to get use to. Since it's a new bike, the resistance is always there which is good. One bad thing I found out bout the knob is that it's too small and too near to the handle bar. So imagine when you're doing standing climb and quickly come down to speed work, you will need to quickly reset the resistance, but in this case, you will need time to do that. Secondly, you will need to turn a lot to achieve the standing resistance from seated which is not the case with the old bike. Did I mentioned that the handle bar seemed a bit too thick/large? But you do have the slot in front to place your towel and bottle which is really convenient. The bar although is thick but to me it's a bit short cause I can't really place all my palm into it during ride easy position. Sigh~!

There are some good side about the new bike of course. Looking at the enclose structure of the frontal part of the bike, it's impossible for our sweats to sip in. This prevent phantom bike phenomenon from happening and at the end less maintenance too. Better adjustable seat's lever. This will surely cut down on those broken knobs or over turned screws you saw on the old bikes.  But the rear part of the seat  do seemed a bit too long to me as I my leg got hit by it for several time when I am coming onto the bike last night. Clumsy me. Well these are just some of my findings anyway. Nevertheless, I am still very happy with the new bike. Just need time to get use of it.

RPM Marathon @ Empire

It's been a week since I did RPM Endurance, and last night I'd joined the RPM Marathon which is a 2 hours class. As usual, I did Body Step for warm up before the main event. The queue wasn't that bad compared to last week's RPM Endurance class. There were only around 10 members queuing up after the Body Step class. The RPM Marathon class is instructed by June & Stephanie last night. There were a total of 22 tracks I think. Tracks selection for the first half was a bit Deja Vu while the second half of the class seemed a bit saturated. My opinion, it was due to the track selection which was not that intense and unfamiliar. Let's be frank now, RPM stands for Riding with Powerful Music, and when there's no Powerful Music, there's no fun in it. I sweat quite a lot during the first half and my puddle of sweat dried up during the second half. There were some good tracks towards the end like California Dreaming, Summer Rain & Heaven but it's a bit too late towards the end. I think some of the other hardcore members agreed with me after the class too. Anyhow, it was a good experience and the  instructors gave us their best and I admire that. Gonna ride with Mickey Mouse and Herny tonight at Uptown for the RPM Marathon again (hopefully) and looking forward for next week's RPM Ironman at The Curve.

RPM Endurance @ Empire

I was doing my usual Body Step class at 5.45pm when I saw some members had already started queuing up for the RPM Endurance class. So what's the fuss about? The class doesn't start till 7.40pm. That is 2 hours wait. By the time I finished Body Step, I'd decided to skip Body Pump class as the queue is getting longer by the minutes. Mine was already 13 and there's only 19 bikes in the class tonight. Luckily for someone, she got the last bike. Was really looking forward for this Endurance class as the theme would be Tour De France. The class is being lead by Brian & Fong. Both of them came in with full gear including the outdoor helmet, sunglasses and even backpack. Overall track selection is really good. As you know it's a 14 track (not inclusive of cool down) class and both track selection and motivation are very  crucial. And both of them managed to give us that. Had a taste of an hour and a half class and I think next week's RPM Marathon shouldn't be any problem. But sadly I couldn't join the week after RPM Ironman at The Curve. Sigh~!

RPM Madness

I was informed tonight by June that there's gonna be a RPM theme classes going on this month. Well this is not you're usual superstar or superheroes theme class but rather endurance. Starting from tomorrow night at Empire, Brian & Fong will be doing the RPM Endurance which is about 1 hour and a half with additional 4 tracks, if I am not mistaken. I will definitely be joining tomorrow's RPM Endurance but not sure I am wanna push myself by joining Prudent's BS and Gino's BP class beforehand as usual. RPM Endurance is just the warm up as next week Wednesday, June & Joe will be doing the RPM Marathon which will last for 2 hours which consists of 22 tracks, I think. That I have to join too. I think I can still survive through this. If you think RPM Marathon is gonna KILL you then think again as on the 27th July at The Curve, Lilian & June is gonna present to us Ironman RPM. 3 hours of solid in door cycling workout. She mentioned that there's a lot of track 5 & 7 repetition and that's gonna kill us all. But sadly I won't be able to join as I am away during that week. Dang~~!!!

Lost & Found

FARK!!! (I always wanted to start a story with that word) Where's my key? I am frantically searching for my locker key everywhere. You must wondering WTF is this story coming from. So lets rewind back half and hour. I had just bathed and dry my hair and walked out of the locker room. Sat on my usual spot outside the RPM studio waiting for the class to start. Well OK, it's like 2 more hours before the class start but I got time. So I was playing around with the new game I had just downloaded for almost 30 minutes when I realized that I can't find my locker key. I search underneath the chair, locker and the gym but it's no where to be found. I saw my lockers (2 in fact) are still lock.

So I decided to try my luck and go to the front desk to ask if anyone found my key. To my surprised, they did found my key. Why am I worried? Well, there's close to a thousand cash in my wallet and not to mentioned a couple of credit cards and also my driving license and identification card in it. My car key is in the locker too. Damn it~! So I quickly walk over to the locker and open it. Checked my wallet and keys. Everything are still intact. Oh, I am so glad at that moment. I walked over to thank the cleaner who found my key. It was so kind of him to return the key and all. I mean if some body else who found the key, they might go through my locker and took whatever valuable in it.

Then I realized something. My locker key is a bit 'cacat'. The tag number that come with the key had already been broken. So they had no way of finding out which locker does this key belongs to. It's a bit obvious if that someone try every single locker in the changing room. So it left me thinking, what if? But I still give the benefit of the doubt to the cleaner. But later that night, a member told me she lost her diamond necklace the other night some where in the gym but she only realized it when she reached home. And she only bought it for 3 months only. Ouch~! That is sad!

Xien Jor Lor!!!

This is not good. I was preparing for RPM class tonight when I accidentally hit my left knee cap to the handle bar. I didn't think much of it since it doesn't hurt so much after some time. I managed to finished the class without any problem. So I thought it was alright. NO!! It was during Body Pump class when I did the Squats that I felt some pain on my knee. But the pain really kicks in during clean & press. I didn't managed to go too low on my squats during the back track. Not to mentioned the new lunge track was a killer too. But surprisingly, it doesn't hurt that much during that track. Huh? But I still felt the pain when I walked over to the locker. Thinking of not doing Body Step class or even Body Pump tomorrow. Aiya~ Xien Jor Lor~~~!!!

Who Turned Off The Lights?

So there we are standing there in the dark half way through the warm up during Master T Body Combat last night. No one can answer what happened and the instructor need to walked out and get someone to get the light back on. I did BS and BP class and there wasn't any sign of this blackout. After 5 minutes, we managed to get the lights back on. So we wasted 5 minutes through the class. So is this the last we will see (or rather not seeing anything) of this sudden blackout? Guess again. The lights went off again during track 2 and on again and off again. I had lost count of how many time the lights went on and off last night. Finally someone figured out what might have caused the problem. We tried turning off half of the lights in the room and everything was A all right through out the class. This means that something is wrong with the circuit breaker as it constantly cutting in or there's something wrong with the wiring or some devices are short circuited. I did suggested that we do a Twilight theme class since the trilogy is coming out next month. lolx~!!!

I Luv The Feeling

My calves are so sore after last night's class. Trust me when I said it's sore. It's already my usual regime to go back to back classes almost each and every day of the week but last Friday was different. Different as I had decided to joined Body Attack after more than a year of absence. I was really reluctant to joined in the beginning but was able to coaxed myself to try it out. Trust me, RPM, BA and BP combo is crazy. I did RPM, BS and BP and even BC previously and it doesn't hurt like this. Maybe my body still hasn't got used of the new workout yet. It's Sunday and my calves are still sore. I hate the soreness but love the feeling as I hasn't felt this way for a long time.

New Launch of FF Empire

Finally FF Empire is officially opened this evening. The guest of honor is our Minister of Sport and Youth. As usual, media was invited and some local celebrities (not that other gym) even make some time to drop by. There were some confusion on the time table for the main studio as both BA & BC classes are canceled off last minute as they are making way for the press conference in the main studio. But since the press conference ended earlier than expected, both the classes are reinstated at the very last minute (again). I had signed up for RPM class but at the end decided to join BC as Master T made it for the class together with June. It was a half an hour class so we only did some tracks from the whole release. Second class would be BS by Steven & Jacky. Damn the class was packed and high. I think all of us really had fun during the class. Finally it was BP by K-Bear & Sue P. The theme for the night was supposed to be beach wear in accordance with the new pool and no other instructors don the attire except for Sue and K-Bear. You Go Girl~~~ Requested some tracks, so need to go the extra miles for the class. Although it's just upper body work out but we really rock the class till the very end. How's the pool? Seemed very hot since it's open air. Someone swam in the pool before I left and some member told me that someone was even smoking at the pool? Possible?

Sneak Preview of Empire's FF

Don't wanna go through the whole story on how I managed to slipped in but let's just agreed that I am resourceful. Once you come out from the lift (2 of them) you will come to the front desk with the Platinum sign.

After passing the front desk you will be looking at the free weights area. This is the view on the right with the cycling machine facing Subang view. Further down would be the RPM studio and the Main Studio which is partially (stage) with an open view of Subang too. And NO, I don't think there is an open view in the RPM studio.

On your left you will be seeing the drinking area. And there's the stairs going to the second floor and we all know what is on the second floor now. But before that, on the left, would be the locker room but I am not sure if it's for gents or ladies.

Closer look of the drinking section. Look's really nice but seemed a bit small for members to sit down and rest though.

Now, on the second floor, would be the infinity swimming pool which we would be sharing with the hotel guest. You can somehow estimate how big is the pool from the picture. But there are two pillars in the middle which I don't think is suitable for some serious swimmers. Some really cool lights on the pillar at night which I noticed just now. Good place to chill out on a Friday night I guess.

Another view from the second floor down the free weights area. Looks really bright from the big glass with a really good view of whole Subang (or most of it). Couldn't get into the main studio as it's still under reno. Seemed like still has a lot work to do but it's schedule to open on the 17th May (Monday). So I guess, they need to rush for the renovation to meet the opening date. Fingers cross.

I Survived Body Step 79 (Finally!)

Finally I managed to wrapped up all my usual GX new release tonight. And it was a great class too as Prudent was team teaching with Brian. Starting off with a strong warm up with the music Boom Boom Pow. Second track was alright but I like track 3, La Copa de la Vida. Although it's an old song but it's so energetic. We have a new combo of across the board twice then over and walk around it. Even the first track was making sweat this. Continued with track 3 with a lot of running on the board which is quite tiring. Blood on the dance floor for track 5 with moonwalk back in the class. You can also strike a pose during part of the track. How cool is that.

For track 6, I just remembered a lot of squat jumps and nut cracker. Power!! I don't really like Track 7 although it's a song by Flo-Rida, Jump. A bit low impact for me. As we jump on the board and that's all. Not much power for me. But maybe that's just me. Track 8 is a Latino style but it was just alright for me. Didn't do the speed track so we go right down to the last power track and power it is all about. Michael is back in the house with Smooth Criminal in the beginning continued with Sexy! No No. Trust me when I say it's a tiring one. As it's a long super speed step on the board. And I think we have like 2 sets of 16 of that and continued with over the board and all the way home. Crazy~!!! Love this release.

I Survived Body Pump 73, RPM 45 & Body Combat 46

It was really a rush for me tonight as I was planning do joined Body Attack launch but was stuck in the jam on the way over. Anyway, I arrived early to joined Body Pump released. The class was launched by Sue P and Ben Sim. Was told that it wasn't that tough and it's really true. There's a lot of singles in this track. There are 4 sets of singles and 12 bottom halves two sets towards the end if I am not mistaken. I can take more singles compared to bottom halves, so this track isn't that tough for me. I got a feeling that tonight's gonna be a 'tough' night. Chest was quite tough but only towards the end when we did the bottom half. Back track wasn't that tough although there's 4 sets of clean & press (3 sets) with break in between. 3 sets of wide rows after some singles but it's alright.

Triceps was really over rated. Not much of triceps extension and when you are getting loaded with it, we go for bottom half which is unloading for me and finished with standing over head press. I thought Biceps was gonna be tough as Linkin Park is back. Maybe we did some really tough tracks before the launch which prepares us for this launch. Not too hard but just enough. Now Lunges was supposed to be one of the toughest track but again it's overrated for me and another gym mate. Shoulder tracks is not that hard, as we started off with push up and going to partial raises and ending with overhead raise by the bar.

Luckily someone managed to get me a bike and so I continued with RPM with Lilian and June launching. Not going into details of all the tracks but I can say that it's a good release with lots of good music. The first mountain track (3) was like track 5 already. The speed work is alright with 3 sets of long speed work and aero races. As usual, need to get into music and once I got hold of the chorey, I would enjoy the release more. At least we have 3 more weeks to get use of it.

Finally it's the highlight of the night's launch which is Body Combat with Master T and June launching. Started off with a nice release. Class wasn't that tough but most of the members as usual stick at the back of the class. So it was a bit cramped. Track 3 was really nice with a nice combo building up and finishing up with a complete set. Tons of speed ball. Your arms will go crazy in this track. Track 4 has a new move called the Shoot which comes from MMA. It's a really tiring track as we need to lay low (in lunges like position) and 'shoot' to the front and grab the opponents leg and do a take down move. Add two back knee and a front kick. One word, tiring.Track 5 isn't that long but a lot of running here and there.

Track 6 like they said is so darn dramatic. If you knew the OST, you should know it's from Pirates of Caribbean. We have a combo moves and a sword swing in the beginning before going into a back kick frenzy. Track 7 was just so so as it doesn't felt that much of Muay Tai. Jab and acceding elbow twice and four knees to the side. Nothing special. Track 8 is the last track so I gave everything I got. A long series of jabs and crosses with upper cuts and hooks and combining it all at the end. A long marathon of jab cross towards the end (138 to be exact). We have a new move called the tripod push up for the conditioning. Quite tiring considering I did so much classes beforehand. But I survived it towards the end. Enjoyed the classes with my friends, that is the best.

Am I Distracting?

Am I distracting? Oh, my. Is this good or bad? haha! Was doing my usual class when one of the instructor kept messing up some of the chorey and she jokingly said I was distracting her, so she can't concentrate. She said it only happens when I am doing her class. Both of us laugh bout it. No I am not misleading her into doing the wrong chorey at all. Duh~! Anyhow, it was a praised that she asked me to try out for instructor-ship that day. This is not the first time but I always smile and say NO. My standard reply or reason would always be, I don't wanna feel committed in coming to gym to teach and forcing myself to smile even though I have a bad day. As a member I have no pressure and can just do whatever I like. That is why I salute to the instructors as they are so good in what they do. I can fool around with my gym-mates and it's really nice doing something I love everyday but heck, teaching it is another story.

First Class After 2 Weeks

It was my first class after two weeks of rest and the holidays. So I decided to start off the first class with medium resistance for Body Step. OK, it wasn't as tiring as I thought it would be. Maybe the track selection were a bit slow for some track. Anyway, I continued with Sue's Body Pump class afterward. It was half way through the Squats track when I realized that I hurt my back a month ago. Felt my back a bit tired and decided not to go that low, and we're only doing Stomp that night. She was really in the mood 'to kill us all' that is, when we know that her selection for the Chest track was Push It. OMG~!! I was half dead even before the push up at the end. Back track was really a killer as I can see both my legs shaking like crazy during the 7 wide rolls. Triceps was still alright but Biceps wasn't that tough but I was really struggling towards the end with Evanescence's Weight Of The World. It's really felt like the weight of the world are on my biceps that time. We did I Go Crazy for the Lunges which is very motivating and dramatic. Totally love it. We did The Power of Bhangra for the shoulder tracks which I was struggling again towards the end. Damn it was a tiring crazy class for me.

But that's not the end of it as I joined my third class which is Body Combat. Most of the members were there so was really excited as I didn't do BC for so long. Warm up was a good choice as I wanted to do Because The Night for so long. Since I didn't Master T last Thursday, Sunday and Monday class, so it's no deja vu for me. lolx~!! Anyhow, I was so tired when we did some of the track as we need to shuffle and all. But I was hyped during the muay tai track as we did Let The Beat Control Your Body. It was really Miracle that I finished the last track in one piece that night. But didn't go all the way for the conditioning as my shoulders are still sore from the long holidays. Maybe next week we give it a try again. Hopefully my stamina will build up again soon but then again, I am cutting down on my classes, so no problem la.

I Survived RPM 45

I did the new Body Step last week but had some minor chorey confused and luckily Riyo was in the studio doing her warm up and getting some pointers from her. It was so easy when she show it and I was able to get it so fast. But during the class, I am back to my confuse self for the first part again. Sigh~! Teoh was team teaching with Riyo tonight so it was really a fun and energetic class. Continued with RPM class and surprisingly, it wasn't full at all even though it was the new release tonight. So how's the new RPM 45? Disappointing to say the least.

Let's see, the warm up was alright. I mean we can't really demand too much on the warm up. But there are speed work during the warm up which is good. Second track could be the savior of the night. A good 4 sets of speed work before ending with a small climb. And a good sing a long song too by CJ Murray. The first hill climb was alright I guess. Nothing spectacular and the music wasn't to say very powerful comparing to the previous releases. The speed work was normal too. Not too tough but just alright. The second mountain climb was better but the music was a bit on the low side. So can't really bring up the mood although we did scream here and there but still we know it's quite flat. The second speed work and I guess the first is better. The highlight of the night would most probably be the last power track. I think it's because of the music, Burn It To The Ground by Swade. We did the same track during BC40 and it was really powerful. I did enjoyed myself during this track. But the rest wasn't that of a good ride though. Well maybe I am just demanding.

The last class would be Master C's BC class and it was the new release tonight. My second BC 42 release. Well, I am starting to enjoy the release and also the music are far better than the previous release. I think I did mentioned this to a lot of people. He gave a really good instruction on the jigga during Track 6, hence a lot of the members did it correctly and didn't really caused much havoc tonight. So I can conclude that for this Les Mills releases, the winner would be BC. The first runner up would be BP and continued with BS and lastly RPM. I think the world is a very fair place, you win some, you loss some. Cheers~!!!

I Survived Body Step 78 & Body Pump 72

Woke up this morning and saw a couple of message from my MSN. A Particular one catch my attention. You know who you are. So here goes. Lately it's been really rush for me during the weekends so I don't really have time to post up my blog. So please pardon the delay in posting my posts. So what's up this weekend. OK, let's review the launch I did on Body Step 78 & Body Pump 72, I did last Friday night. Started RPM as an appetizer before going into the main course. So the first course of the night would be the launch of the new Body Step 78 by Prudent and June. She started the warm up and I can say that it's a good release. But I think I like the previous track more. But it's just the first class, so I might like it more after a few classes. There were hiccups during the whole release but heck, I really enjoyed the class as BQ & CP joined the class with me.

Next on the menu would be Body Pump 72 launch by K-Bear and June. Was actually texting with her even before BS class and I knew she was gonna be running late. Surprisingly, someone else was asked to do the warm up with June. Anyway, the warm up was a bit confusing and I can't blame her as she wasn't supposed to do the warm up. K-Bear arrived during squats. And for the record babe, those weight and board that she carried was supposed to be yours. I am not sure why she came in and took the whole set. Anyhow, the squats doesn't seemed that long to me as I was enjoying Kelly Clarkson's I Do Not Hook Up. Chest track was alright. I remembered there were 4 sets of similar combos with lots of bottom halves. Back track by Cascada's Perfect Day actually isn't as strong as her previous ones but the wide rolls are really pain to the shoulders and back. Was looking forward for the Triceps track as Flo-Rida is back again with Sugar this time. Actually it wasn't that tough, as the pain only kick in during the dips at the end. Biceps was actually isn't as tough as I though as there are some back rolls in between each combos for you to reset.

Lunges should be my highlight of the night. I am not sure if it was because I did RPM and BS class beforehand but I really felt the pain during the last lunge. Started off with some squats and trust me, you need to carry some moderate weight if you wanna work this one out right. The song Gone by Lasgo was really motivating and worth mentioning here. Trust me, you need some motivating track to get you through the pain. Shoulder track is something familiar to me as it's been done in Body Combat 37 but this time it's by Xeroxx. Started off with some push ups if I remembered correctly. Continued with side plates and ending with bars. Not that tough so you can go crazy a bit with your weights during the over head bar. The abs track are quite similar to the previous release with the reverse crunches on the board and finishing up with plank on the board. Cooling down all the pain with Badland's rendition of Carelese Whispers. So how's the release? I think I will love it and don't mind doing it for 3 weeks. Hopefully you all enjoyed the release as much as I did.

You Sure Boh??

I know some of my readers like some drama-ness in my posts sometimes to get her through the morning or night. So I went to DU FF as usual tonight and as usual I will take a bath and change before sipping my coffee and reading the paper. So since the towel is wet, I will exchange a new fresh towel from the front desk. But the lady at the front desk or actually a consultant (cause of the uniform color) told me that she can't get me a new towel. I was a bit shocked and I asked

Me: Why? I always get a second towel in every gym I went to EVEN over here (DU).

Lady: I don't think so. It's our rules to only gave out one towel per member as we DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT towels for the whole gym.

Me: (I was like) HUH?? (Sure Boh??) But I had been taking SECOND towels from your gym BEFORE and they never said ANYTHING!? Why is this different?

Lady: I think you had mistaken, can you let me know who gave you the towels previously? As they are not allowed to do so. Do you KNOW that we DON'T HAVE ENOUGH towels for members for those who came after 8 or so?!! And why do you need and extra one??

Me: (WTF??!!) Your front desk lady and some other guys. But that is beside the point. Why is such a large gym do not have sufficient towels for members? Do you mean to tell me that I can only get one towel per day? So why the hell did I paid the extra for the towel service for? I just bathed and the towel is wet, and I need to bath again after the class around 8pm, so ARE YOU TELLING me to STICK this WET TOWEL into my locker and wait for it to DRY for 2 hours? If so you need to inform me earlier so I won't bath first.

Lady: (Pass me a new towel)

Me: Thank You (smirk!)

By the way, I had asked WC before if they are allowed to give me the second towel and they said it's alright. So what's the fuss about? Not enough towel then buy MORE la! DUH?!!!

FF-TC Platinum Upgrade

Finally after two weeks of absent in FF The Curve, both the studios (main & RPM) are ready for class. Double confirmed with the front desk before going to the locker and checking out the time table. Except RPM, there's no time table or board showing the schedule. The pantry is like a maze as we need to walk to the end and there is a small small place where 5 tables are set over the corner. Part of the waiting lounge is still under renovation. First class was Riyo's Body Step class. Noticed that they laid a new wooden flooring for the main studio. Repainted the ceiling or rather ducting of the AHU. The stage is still under renovation and there was no spotlight on the stage, so it's a bit dim during her class and Master C's Body Combat. But I noticed that K-Bear really blend in with the background with her new tan. LOLX!!!

Managed to joined Herny's RPM class tonight as it wasn't a full house. The class is more brighter now. They installed plaster ceiling with box in light (red, blue & green). But you can't really control the amount of lighting of each color, it's either all red or blue or green which is a bit dumb. No air condition yet, so we're practically doing Hot RPM tonight. Just placed a standing fan in front of the whole class. Clever chap~ Some said it looked smaller but it's more spacious to me since there are still space for more bikes. Talking bout the bikes, I thought it would be new. Damn I was wrong. It may look new but heck, it's just being clean up and polish. Maybe put some oil or lubricant and touch up here and there but the bike I am on tonight still suck!! Heard that they are gonna change it next year? Supposedly~!!! Anyway, no changes in the locker room for now. No new toiletries or sort for the members. So what's the upgrade again???

Lost My Mood

It was Monday and I can't decide which gym to go to when finally I saw the time table at WC which shows that Brian is replacing June for her RPM class. So it's Body Combat then RPM then Body Pump and RPM again. Yes, I know it's crazy but what the heck. The last RPM is optional for me. But it's nice doing back to back classes once in a while. So I arrived early and joined Alvin's Body Combat class. I just realized it was a replacement class for some other instructor and it's his last class. Anyway, we had fun and he did some really old tracks. The class finished at 6.30pm sharp and RPM class is 6.50pm. So I walked down to register as I assumed that it's open for registration 20 minutes before class. Heck~ It was FULL!!! For REAL? I know it's Brian's class but Monday class too?

Anyway I walked up and checked if there were any unoccupied bike and luckily there was one. But Brian told me it was reserved. Aikss~ I stood outside waiting if the member arrived to take the bike and there were another member who just finished the Step class earlier waiting for it. She was walking up and down and looking at the bike. Brian signaled me to wait 5 more minutes to come in and the girl thought it's alright and just walk in and take that bike. WTF??!! Brian can't do anything as he is teaching half way and the member (who reserved the bike earlier) arrived and sadly her bike had been taken by another lady (the member who didn't registered). Sigh~! Totally lost my mood that night and decided to call it a night and headed back home.

Platinum Club WOR!!

I was contemplating whether to joined yesterday night's Body Step class by Prudent or not. As mentioned earlier, he had took over Brian's class (which the latter had held for more than 5 years or so). Wasn't really happy bout it and so is the other members from the chat we had. So I took my time taking a bath, sipping on my coffee and reading the paper as usual as the others rush in to place their boards. I realized that I didn't saw his name on the board and decided to asked the front desk and they inform me it's his class. Well anyway, I will try out the class and see how it goes. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes and still no sight of him. Others were getting agitated with some being really pissed as they purposely rush all the way from work for the class. Am I mad? Well to be honest, not really but rather disappointed as they didn't announce or inform the members earlier. A PT instructor thought of doing a body weight class to fill the time but sadly no one was interested until Sue P arrived and was informed of the situation.

Initial plan was for her to do some warm up tracks from Body Vive but ding dong here and there, it's time for her class and we all continued with it. After the class, I'd decided to joined Brian's RPM as Master T wasn't around town. Chong was replacing his class as WRITTEN on the board (this time). 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes and still no sight or announcement from the front desk again. Members were again frustrated as I am cycling in the studio. I am not sure if other instructor replaced the class as Body Jam class or not during that time but I did saw them walking in and out at the end of the class. Anyway, was I surprised? NO! Was I pissed? NO! Am I disappointed? Heck, I am getting used of it already by now. But I heard a lot of the members gonna complaint to the front desk though. Good luck on that for some feedback if they are wishing for. And they just upgraded the status Platinum. haha! But don't get me wrong, the staff are nice and friendly maybe just the management issue or communication (as always).
