Chauvinism Is Dead?

I can't remember when is the last time I took the bus. So I decided to take a bus today and wasn't familiar with the cost and when the bus driver told me the amount, I was fiddle around my pockets looking for small change. He was pretty annoyed as I was holding the line but I did stand aside but I heard him mumbling something like I should prepare small change when I board. Hello, I have small change, just that I am not sure how much is the ride. Anyway, the whole bus ride experience really brought back some memories. On the way back, I was prepared and quickly slot in the exact amount and boarded. Yup, I'm a fast learner. lolx~!

On a different account, I was taking the MRT and as usual it was quite pack as it was 8pm. I was listening to my pod sitting down when I saw a middle age women walked in and I offered her my seat quickly. But she said it was alright and asked me to sit down. As she left, she walked over to me and said, Thank You. Oh, that makes my day. Who said chauvinism is dead and  good deed doesn't return in good. People were looking at me and I think this is good to show that we Malaysian also got manners one lar~~~ Duh!!!

iPad Anyone?

Finally after the long guessing game, the word is finally out. At 5.00 (AEMT), people at Cupertino finally unveiled the much awaited table named iPad. The ceremony is headed by it's head huncho, Steve Jobs at the Yerba Buena Centre at California. So what does the new gadget had in store for us. Well according to the man himself, the tablet could do the following task: browsing the web, mailing, sharing files, videos, pictures with the leisure of listening to your favorite musics to playing games and reading eBooks. During the launch, Jobs shows how the tablet be able to do all the stuff mentioned but one thing obviously lacked from the tablet which is the support of Flash. From the features mentioned, you could have guess that it's very similar to what you can do on your iPhone. Someone even said that the tablet is actually iPhone magnified and put on steroids. Well I can't say that they are far away from that. I mean the machine weighs 1.5 pound (roughly) with a 1/2" thin 9.7" IPS Display. IPS? I just know it's super high quality shit. Super responsive capacitive multi-touch screen similar to the iPhone. It had a 10 hours of battery life (moderate).

The baby runs on a custom Apple chip called A4. 4th Gen? Don't know bout that. With 1GHz of processor power, the iPad comes in 3 options of storage , 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Standard 802.11n, WiFi and Bluethooth connectivity as usual. As for the apps, all iPhone apps would be able to run on it without any modification. Good news on that for the SDK. I heard that the apps for the iPad will start running today concurrent with the launch. During the launch, developers like Gameloft, New York Times, Brushes and EA tested their apps using the new iPad and everyone was quite amazed by it. There is this new apps or features called iBook which is available on the iPad. You can download the books from the new iBook Store application. It's similar to iTunes store actually. Doing spreadsheets, the tablet shows it's power with the new multi-touch gestures, multi-finger taps, pinch, double tap and etc. There is a new data entry keyboard just for entering those info to your spreadsheet which looks really cool. As always, iWork products are available for a price of $9.99 (Yes, USD not RM).

You can buy two data plans for the iPad from AT&T @ $14.99 for 250MB or unlimited data for double the price. Good news, you don't need to buy any contract with the tablet. iPad 3G are unlocked and use GSM micro SIMs. They will go international with this around mid of the year. The Apple iPad pricing starts from $499 for a 16GB, $599 for 32GB and $799 for 64GB. For 3G models, just add another $130 to each of the ranges. Other than the lack of Flash feature, there are also the lack of the front facing camera for video conferencing and also no Notification features mentioned. And Yes, there were also no news or announcement on the next generation iPhone OS or iPhone 4.0 or anything about Verizon partnership or sort. So is it just a marketing gimmick to boost the hype of the whole launch? Well you be the judge of that.

A Little Less Conversation

I remembered that I read some where about the Starbuck syndrome. Initially the idea of people gathering in a coffee house and talking with each other while updating each other with their life and work had now turn into a little less conversation. People would just go in and open up their notebook or book and go into their own world. Well that is old news as now we have the iPhone syndrome. This is because, wherever we (iPhone user) go, we tend to be busy with our phone. be it Facebook-ing or MSN-ing to playing games, reading mails and so on. I hate to admit it but to be honest it's the truth. As most of the apps in the iPhone are equipped with PUSH notification, so we won't stop texting or replying each other conversation the whole night. Lately when my gym mates went for supper, most of us would just take out our phones and doing our own stuff. There are occasion chit chat like, "Why the line so slow tonight?", "Wah, you update your FB status so fast ar?" or "What's the password for the WiFi over here?". Damn this is so funny but true~

Did I Heard A Crack?

I was just talking bout reducing my classes and all as I am worried that it would hurt my body and it really did, my back actually. It all happened last night during my 2nd class of the night. Didn't went to TC and decided to go for WC classes. RPM was alright, didn't felt much but it was during BP that the pain kicks in.Well actually there were indication that my back was giving me some issue few weeks back. But it was really minor stuff. Didn't really bother much of it but I tried to give my back less stress along the way. So I was doing Chest track when we have a break in the middle and I think I was coming up a bit too fast and pull my muscle at the back. Fark~! Pain~!!! Couldn't move for a while. But continued to finish off the track and couldn't really get myself up from the board for those who saw me would know. Lowered down the bars to my chest and slowly roll it down to the floor. Standing up was painful at that time. Decided to stop the class and went out to do some stretching to lessen the pain on my back. It was better after a while but the pain still kicks in once in a while. Some advice from a friend to skip the classes tonight. Well most probably will skip the first two classes as I think BS and BP give me the most stress to the back. Will consider BC if I can make it. Sigh~! Sign of old age~ NOOOT!!! lolx!!!

Reduce Resistance or Reduce Classes??? Both???!!!

As you all know, I joined a lot of classes (gym) every week. For the last two weeks, it was really crazy as I changed some of my usual routine or classes. Particularly my Wednesday night class. My usual class would be going to Uptown for RPM Challenge. But I'd decided to cut down on the RPM as I think I joined too much of it and the latest release isn't that impressive to me. So I went over WC and joined Body Combat, Body Pump and RPM instead. One class becomes three classes for me now. And I was deciding to cut down my classes previously. So I am doing 15 classes in 5 days. I am not sure if that is a lot but let me say that, I can memorized all the chorey by head. Another reason to cut down the classes is because I don't wanna strain my ankle which I think is gonna give me an issue in the future. So the idea would be cutting down the classes and taking supplements like Glucosamine & Fish Oil to help relieve the pain (which I am not having YET?!!). I should lower down my resistance level for all the classes, especially Body Step, but I like going crazy during the class. Body Pump is alright as it doesn't incurred much strain to the ankle rather to the back. Am decreasing the impact during my Body Combat classes these days too. Maybe cutting down classes is good or at least lowering down the resistance of each classes. Free weights? Someone invited, well let's see how it goes.

Sudah Potong?

I was checking my bills from the banks last weekend and realized that I have some cards which I don't use that much. Since the Government had decided to impose a RM50 tax on all our cards (RM25 on supplementary), I had decided to cancel off some of them. So I grab all my bills and copied down all the numbers and wanted to give the bank a ring this week to cancel off. I had a few method of canceling my cards in the past. First the fast way would be cutting the card and sending it back to them. Second, I faxed a simple letter stating that I wanted to cancel off my card and they will call me back to offer me a waiver. But the one that I saw recently was so damn funny which I need to share with you all. You can call and ask for their Cancellation Form. But as usual you need to fill in the details and states the REASON of your cancellation. So what's so funny? Please see the below picture and tell me if it's not funny~! Well I was laughing my ass of when I read it. If you can't read from the picture, please let me spill it out for you.

Reason of cancellation: ASK NAJIB WHY (RM50 CHARGE)!!!

iPhone OS 4.0 Features LEAKED???

OK, when I said leaked, it's not the water leak but rather information on the features of the new and anticipated OS 4.0 for iPhone. What I heard is that people at Boy Genius Report heard some news from one of their trusted source about the new upcoming OS 4.0 for iPhone. Words has been around town that the people at Cupertino had been testing the new OS 4.0 few months back and rumors has it, it was for the new iPhone 4G. Excitement and anticipation are growing each day as everyone is waiting for D-Day on the 27th Jan at 10am, when Apple will reveal their 'Latest Creation'. iTable is a confirm agenda of the day but rumors are mounting that Apple is gonna show their Demo iPhone OS 4.0 on the same day too. Only selected media and people are invited for the special occasion. Now let's get back to the OS 4.0 features.

According to the trusted source, the good news about the new OS 4.0 is, allowing 3rd party iPhone apps to be run on the background. There is also a revamp on the GUI which said to be more user friendly. But do take note that these changes only applies to iPhone 3G, 3GS and newer version of iPod Touch. So for those who are still using 2G, it's time to upgrade. This is what BGR sources had to say about the new OS 4.0.
  • There will be multi-touch gestures OS-wide. (Would make sense for that as the rumored OS for the iTablet is close if not the same as the iPhone)
  • “A few new ways” to run applications in the background — multitasking.
  • Many graphical and UI changes to make navigating through the OS easier and more efficient. We haven’t had this broken down, but we can only hope for improved notifications, a refreshed homescreen, etc.
  • The update will supposedly be available for only the iPhone 3G

and 3GS, but will “put them ahead in the smartphone market because it will make them more like full-fledged computers” more than any other phone to date. Everyone is “really excited.”

  • The last piece of information is the most vague, but apparently there will be some brand new syncing ability for the contacts and calendar applications.
It's really nice to hear that Apple had finally open up to 3rd party apps to run on their background. I am currently using ProSwitcher which is really useful and also user friendly for switching between apps without closing them. So if the new OS 4.0 is as good as it sound, I might even considered upgrading my OS 3.0.

I had a feeling that this music gonna snake into the new release soon when I heard it the first time last year. Warp Brothers are back and this time with their rendition of Smells Like Teen Spirit (originally by Nirvana). I Gotta Feeling that this is gonna be a good release. lolx~!

SmoothBoard for iPhone

As you all know by now, I will update some useful apps for iPhone users from time to time. So this time around, I stumbled upon this app call SmoothBoard. It's from the same developer who brought to you Multifl0w. So what does this application do? To put it short, it will allow you to swipe over multiple springboard in your phone. For those people who fully utilized all of their pages in their springboard and when you are trying to go to the last page on your springboard, it will seemed very tedious or troublesome to swipe so many times. So this is where the application comes in. It allows you two go to several pages at one swipe of your finger. Imagine scrolling your phone book. This is what Alan Ash had to say about the app

"Springboard doesn't 'lock' when scrolling. A big swipe can scroll through multiple pages instead of only one page per swipe. If you stop scrolling Springboard won't "snap" to the nearest page, it will just stay in between pages. There are a few minor bugs. (like springboard snapping to the nearest page when an app is opened) But it does not hinder any functionality, and you can still move icons around just fine."

One more important point, the app is only down loadable from Cydia. In other word, only JB iPhone could install it. Have fun.

Can I Correct You On That??

I am not sure about the rest of you but I felt very annoyed when I saw some members in the gym doing the wrong technique. I felt like correcting them or at least telling them that what they are doing is not correct or off beat. I think the most annoying class would be Body Pump. As you need correct technique, timing and also the range for a good work out. For example, there is this lady who like to take such a heavy weight standing right in front of the class. But her range during squats is so small. It's like moving her little ass a bit and that's all. So you don't seemed to see any difference in her bottom half or full range. Felt like telling her to lower down her weights and don't follow what other members (who is capable) is carrying just to show a 'point'. Another example is this new member who came in during last night's Body Pump class. His technique is all around the class. I mean the clean and press, dead lift and even biceps. Even Brian tried numerous time to advice him but it was left with a deaf ear. I am not sure if he didn't heard or didn't know. Whichever case, it's not good for him as he looked quite elderly too. Well other then that, we have those super fast clean and press and also single/triple row which follow. Like K-Bear said, you need to follow the timing to get the correct work. No point carrying such weights and not getting the result and in the end hurting oneself.

As for Body Combat, well technique is very subjective as I can't compare each and every one with the instructor. But there are those who still punch and jab in every direction even though they had been doing the class for years. Not to offend anyone, as I don't have the best technique too but just my opinion. So when I saw people like this, I have the tendency to just walk over and tell them that what they are doing is not right and try to correct them, but then again , I am not the instructor. So I just let them enjoy the class as I see they are doing just that. Anyway, all of the above are just my opinion, so don't get offended anyone.I know everyone came to the class to enjoy it and enjoyment is what they should have but doing the wrong technique could hurt your back especially Body Pump class. So just my 2-cents.

Mysterious Cra ving

I had just realized something very weird in my diet lately. My work out routine would be from Monday till Friday or basically all the weekdays. My diet would be skipping dinner after my workout and would only take plain water when I go supper with my gym-mates. OK, here's the weird part. Most of time I would be doing 3 back to back classes except Wednesday. And the only day that I would only take my dinner/supper would be on Wednesday itself. I am not sure why? I wouldn't even feel hungry during any other night except Wednesday. I did only one class (RPM) and I would eat so much after that. Compared to any other night where I do 3 classes and don't eat anything. I realized the issue would be the venue that we choose. Any other day we would go to kopitiam where I don't feel like eating anything but on Wednesday we would go to eat Hokkien Mee, Kajang Satey, Murni or Chee Cheong Fun. I can't say no to Hokkien Mee when I sat down even if I am not hungry. I think that is the problem here. LOLX!!! Mystery Solved!!!

Google's Nexus One - Now Available

Finally it had arrive or arriving in our shore. I am talking about Google's Nexus One hand phone that is. Actually the phone can only be purchase online from a few countries, namely US, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. So I was browsing my usual forum and saw that a guy started selling this phone in there. You can go to the website here to check the phone out. But if you notice, once you entered the website, you will be prompted with a message on the side, "Sorry, Nexus One phone is not available in your country". Cause as I mentioned earlier, it's only available in those named countries only for now (market testing purposes).

So there is this guy who works in Singapore, that will book the phone for you if you wanted. And the price is RM2,300 (non-negotiable). How bout the warranty you ask. Well it's not bond by Google but you can claimed your limited 1-year warranty with HTC. If you bought it in EU countries, you got 2 years Limited Warranty. I am waiting for anyone who would buy the phone and let me play around with it one day. So let me know anyone of you who bought it and share with us what do you think of the new 'super phone'. You can even engrave your name or whatever on the phone too. Cool~!

PS: Multi touch function only available when you install dolphin (not the real dolphin!!).

I Survived RPM 45

I did the new Body Step last week but had some minor chorey confused and luckily Riyo was in the studio doing her warm up and getting some pointers from her. It was so easy when she show it and I was able to get it so fast. But during the class, I am back to my confuse self for the first part again. Sigh~! Teoh was team teaching with Riyo tonight so it was really a fun and energetic class. Continued with RPM class and surprisingly, it wasn't full at all even though it was the new release tonight. So how's the new RPM 45? Disappointing to say the least.

Let's see, the warm up was alright. I mean we can't really demand too much on the warm up. But there are speed work during the warm up which is good. Second track could be the savior of the night. A good 4 sets of speed work before ending with a small climb. And a good sing a long song too by CJ Murray. The first hill climb was alright I guess. Nothing spectacular and the music wasn't to say very powerful comparing to the previous releases. The speed work was normal too. Not too tough but just alright. The second mountain climb was better but the music was a bit on the low side. So can't really bring up the mood although we did scream here and there but still we know it's quite flat. The second speed work and I guess the first is better. The highlight of the night would most probably be the last power track. I think it's because of the music, Burn It To The Ground by Swade. We did the same track during BC40 and it was really powerful. I did enjoyed myself during this track. But the rest wasn't that of a good ride though. Well maybe I am just demanding.

The last class would be Master C's BC class and it was the new release tonight. My second BC 42 release. Well, I am starting to enjoy the release and also the music are far better than the previous release. I think I did mentioned this to a lot of people. He gave a really good instruction on the jigga during Track 6, hence a lot of the members did it correctly and didn't really caused much havoc tonight. So I can conclude that for this Les Mills releases, the winner would be BC. The first runner up would be BP and continued with BS and lastly RPM. I think the world is a very fair place, you win some, you loss some. Cheers~!!!

Ah Lian & Mahjoong Joke

I know it's already pass lunch time and it's only few more hours for you all to off work. But I can't wait but to share with you a joke which I had just remembered I stumbled upon few years back. I won't copy 'bulat-bulat' but will write it with my own words (if I remembered it correctly). This is a story about an Ah Lian who like to play mahjong a lot. You can say that she is an addict. So his husband Ah Beng really beh tahan with Ah Lian's addiction and will always wait up for her as she will always come home at 2 - 3am in the morning after her mahjong rendezvous. Ah Beng will wait for her and asked her how much she had loss and she would always give Ah Beng the heart attack when she mentioned the figure.

So one night, don't know what happened, but lady luck seemed to be on Ah Lian's side. Ah Lian won't a bundle of money and was really happy as she wanted to surprised Ah Beng with her winning. But that is not just what Ah Lian had in mind. Ah Lian thought of sneaking into the house and taking off her clothes while tip toeing into the masterbed room and gave Ah Beng an out of this world blow job. So Ah Lian took off all her bra & panties down to the last thread, and slowly walk into her room when suddenly Ah Beng switch ON the light. At this moment, I think most of you could have guess what would happen.

Ah Beng: KNN!!! U LOSS EVERYTHING ARRRRR???!!!!!!

Ju-on: White Ghost & Black Ghost

I am actually deciding whether to blog about this movie I watched yesterday or not. The reason was because it's really nothing much but some remake or the original with addition of some other cheap frights along the movie. I can't say I was horrified even a bit but was really an amusing movie to watch. Amusing, yes, you heard me right. So read on. The movie was released end of last year around mid of last year and it's even out in DVD. I am not sure why it's only being shown here right now. It's a 10 years anniversary of the original Ju-On and from the quality of the shown it seemed like it was made for TV rather than the big screen for me. You can check out their website here if you wanted to know more. *spoiler read on*

The title of the movie is called Ju On:White Ghost / Black Ghost. This is because there are two stories in the movie which actually have a common similarity, the house it all started. The first story is called white ghost or Old Lady in White. Whole family brutally murdered with the daughter being decapitated. The murderer who is the uncle hanged himself at the end. Anyone who came close of the house or knew the people died one by one as usual. It's so damn funny when the little girls head coming out from the bag or the old grandmother running (yes, not floating or crawling) around holding a basketball scaring the day light out of her victims. As usual, the director tells the story from each victims point of side and combined it all together.

Second chapter of the movie is called, Black Ghost as it focused on the dead unborn twin of a girl who came back to haunt his mother. Finally we heard the unique squeaking sound which is ever so famous in the franchise. But there are no crawling down stairs or osteoporosis ghost walking around in the movie. The white face kid did make some cameo in the movie without actually playing any role or making any effect in the movie. The father is dead, the nurse whose taking care of the daughter and even the nurse's neighbor (this is a bit too far fetch). I mean the way he was killed? Banging his head to the wall? Not so ghostly like for me. I mean you can chop of his head or split it or even blow it up but banging it to the wall? Finally the show ended with both the daughter and mother jumping off the roof.

These two incident which happened in the same house actually are just two of the many which happened. If you remembered the first original Ju On, you would know. So is it worth watching? You can watch it in DVD but I am not sure if you wanna waste RM11 to watch it in the big screen. There are nothing new unless you called having an old grandmother wearing thick make up running around scaring people while holding a basketball, SCARY!! I was surprised that I didn't fall asleep during the movie (as it's 2am), well maybe cause I can't stop laughing like the other people in the cinema. But my friend did had some scream for herself during the movie. So she might actually worth her money watching the movie after all. (Rating: 3.3 out of 5.0)

I Survived Body Step 78 & Body Pump 72

Woke up this morning and saw a couple of message from my MSN. A Particular one catch my attention. You know who you are. So here goes. Lately it's been really rush for me during the weekends so I don't really have time to post up my blog. So please pardon the delay in posting my posts. So what's up this weekend. OK, let's review the launch I did on Body Step 78 & Body Pump 72, I did last Friday night. Started RPM as an appetizer before going into the main course. So the first course of the night would be the launch of the new Body Step 78 by Prudent and June. She started the warm up and I can say that it's a good release. But I think I like the previous track more. But it's just the first class, so I might like it more after a few classes. There were hiccups during the whole release but heck, I really enjoyed the class as BQ & CP joined the class with me.

Next on the menu would be Body Pump 72 launch by K-Bear and June. Was actually texting with her even before BS class and I knew she was gonna be running late. Surprisingly, someone else was asked to do the warm up with June. Anyway, the warm up was a bit confusing and I can't blame her as she wasn't supposed to do the warm up. K-Bear arrived during squats. And for the record babe, those weight and board that she carried was supposed to be yours. I am not sure why she came in and took the whole set. Anyhow, the squats doesn't seemed that long to me as I was enjoying Kelly Clarkson's I Do Not Hook Up. Chest track was alright. I remembered there were 4 sets of similar combos with lots of bottom halves. Back track by Cascada's Perfect Day actually isn't as strong as her previous ones but the wide rolls are really pain to the shoulders and back. Was looking forward for the Triceps track as Flo-Rida is back again with Sugar this time. Actually it wasn't that tough, as the pain only kick in during the dips at the end. Biceps was actually isn't as tough as I though as there are some back rolls in between each combos for you to reset.

Lunges should be my highlight of the night. I am not sure if it was because I did RPM and BS class beforehand but I really felt the pain during the last lunge. Started off with some squats and trust me, you need to carry some moderate weight if you wanna work this one out right. The song Gone by Lasgo was really motivating and worth mentioning here. Trust me, you need some motivating track to get you through the pain. Shoulder track is something familiar to me as it's been done in Body Combat 37 but this time it's by Xeroxx. Started off with some push ups if I remembered correctly. Continued with side plates and ending with bars. Not that tough so you can go crazy a bit with your weights during the over head bar. The abs track are quite similar to the previous release with the reverse crunches on the board and finishing up with plank on the board. Cooling down all the pain with Badland's rendition of Carelese Whispers. So how's the release? I think I will love it and don't mind doing it for 3 weeks. Hopefully you all enjoyed the release as much as I did.

Google's Nexus One Vs. Apple's iPhone 3GS

(please click image to enlarge)
Finally Google had unveiled their first smart phone or rather 'super' phone as they called it, Nexus One. As always, in any case, Google claimed that their device is more superior than the current smart phone hence the name Super Phone. I am not sure what they are going to name next? Super Duper Phone? Anyhow, let's see what does the phone has to offer. The units bares a 3.7" WVGA AMOLED touchscreen with a 5MP (2x Digital Zoom) and auto focus at the back. The video is running on 720x480 at 20 FPS and above. The machine runs on 512MB RAM with a storage of 4GB Micro SD Card (expandable to 32GB). It's powered by Snapdragon's 1GHz core processor with bundle in features.

Now let's see what are the key features that the phone has to offer. They have this built-in noise cancellation feature which I think is the only one in the market (I think). For smart phone users, we push a lot of apps in our phones. How do we differentiate them without opening the phone. Nexus offers a LED powered trackball which shows you what type of notification that you receive. Another cool feature (which I am not if we need it) is  the dynamic wallpapers feature which changes according to the user's activities. But the best would be the voice integration feature. To make it simple, you can practically tell/instruct the phone what to do. Every text field and applications are able to be control by just simply talking to it. It would be cool to not have to type your sms rather than just speak it out. But I am not sure how accurate it is though.

You can purchase the phone from Google's website if I get my information accurately. US consumers can opt to buy the phone only or with subsidized by T-Mobile which means you have to sign a contract with them. Well at least you have a choice there. Google announced that countries like UK, Singapore and Hong Kong will be able to purchase their phone. Google hinted that this is just the beginning or a lot more super phones coming from them and a signal to Apple to look out for them. According to the analysis done above, the price of Apple's iPhone is 50% more than Nexus and this might become a disadvantage to the prior. I had initially said that Apple's iPhone 4G would most probably be launch this year and well, we just need to see how that is going to impact Nexus One and the smart phone market. One thing for sure, there is a lot more to choose from for us consumers. But like I always said, iPhone can only be kill by a newer version of an iPhone.

Si Beh Swey - Epilogue

If you didn't know by now, I had lost my credit card as mentioned on my last post. So today I decided to go over the bank to check if there my card really got stuck in the machine as the guard said. I didn't give the idea too much thought as, if the card is stuck in the machine, the machine would be out of service. But when I got back, the machine is still operational and people are still using it. So I had brushed off the idea. Walked up to the guard and he told me to get a number and ding dong here and there going up and down when finally the guy in charge apologized to me for making me wait so long. Got my I.C and walk into his work place and what do you know, he came back out with my credit card. WTF? The machine really did 'swallow' my credit card. Well according to him, the machine will automatically 'swallow' the card if the owner didn't retrieve it for a certain of time. This is to guard the card and also letting others use the machine. Wow~ I just realized that there is such mechanism in the machine. So good news is, I got my card back, but bad news is that I had already canceled it. Fark~!!!!

Si Beh Swey~~~

Fark~ I lost my credit card AGAIN! I think this is the second or third time already. Was depositing the cheque for my credit using the machine this afternoon. As I was double parking I was a bit rush, so I just remembered that I retrieved the receipt from the machine and not my card. Went to another bank and did another transaction. Only realized that my card was missing when I was heading to the gym. Was checking on my member card when I saw an empty slot on my wallet. First thing that hit my mind, "Fark~ Where's My Card??". Quickly drove back to the bank and the guard told me no one saw anything or pass anything back to him. But he told me that the card might be jam inside the machine and asked me to come back the next day. But I thought it couldn't be jam inside the machine and most probably some cheapo fella took it and I quickly called to the card center and reported the card in. They can only issue me a new card after 7 days. 7 farking days???! Might as well get a new card from another bank. And they wanted to charge me RM50 for the new card. Fark~ Decided to not get a replacement card for the time being and just report the card missing. Cause I got a supplementary card which is not in use for the same account. Damn lucky~!

I Survived Body Combat 42

Finally I'd officially joined the new release of Body Combat 42 tonight, well unintentionally. This was because no one decided to update the time table at WC this week. Anyway, Master T was flanked by two ladies tonight for the launch. Dub in Muay Tai attire the class started off with a pack studio. First upper body track was really up lifting and introduction of ascending elbow in it. Lower body was something new for me as we need to shuffle to one side and perform a front kick. Track 2 was really nice with powerful song by Scooter. We started off with a block and cross punch. Combined that with a back fist to the face and round house to complete the combo. Track 3, Poison is an intense and fast moving track. We have the new move called Sweep which actually what it applies, which is sweeping the opponent with our leg. But the move is a bit weird when we did the sweep and jab cross afterward. Well for me at least.

Track 4 this time around didn't have two combined track but the intensity is still the same. The chorey is really simple with jab cross and hook and continued with upper and hook. Track 5 featuring Good Charlotte with The Anthem but the track seemed a bit short for me. The fun starts at Track 6 with The Prodigy. We have the new moves or rather modified of the jigga move. We have the rotation jigga move which is really tough if you really go low. There is also the eskiva with squats like moves towards the end. Pain~! Muay Tai is basically full of all the usual moves which turns out to something like a marathon as everyone is saying due to the length of the track. Cascada is back for Track 8 with Miracle. The combo is nice and simple and it does have the effect to bring the class to climax with it. Conditioning isn't that tough as there wasn't much push up but there is a new move in the track. Cool it all down with a nice katta song by Shinedown. So how was it? Better than the previous release is what I can say. Enjoy~

The One That Got Away

OK, maybe the title didn't really sound 100% correct but this house above might probably be I'll be staying next year if I didn't canceled if off early last year. The location is some where in Puchong. Actually I had already placed a deposit for the early bird and I would secure the house for RM280K. I heard that during their official launch, the price goes to RM310K. The reason why I canceled off the deal was because the developer took too long to show us (buyers) the brochure or design of the exact house. No show house are built till late last year. The size of the house is around the same or smaller than the one I just bought but there are pros and cons between this two. If you are OK with the location (Puchong) then this would be a good estate to purchase. The house is a 2-1/2 story. Actually the master bedroom is built on a fake half a floor on top of the second, so it looked more nicer and modern. Some of the features in the house are quite attractive especially the toilet in the master bedroom. Might copy some of it and do it in my house next time.

Minutes to Midnight

It's the last day of the weekend of a long holidays and tomorrow it's another new chapter of my career for this year (2010). I know it's already the 3rd day of the new year but most of us only going back to work tomorrow. So there are a lot of mix feelings among you all I am sure. There are some who can't wait to continue with their work, some their first day of a new career and as for me, it's almost the same as last week. Another week of work waiting for me and hitting the gym after work as usual. Not sure how is the traffic tomorrow morning but hopefully it's not as bad as everyone is assuming.

Wishing all my readers Happy New Year and Happy 1st Day of Work ~!

Alvin And The Chipmunks 2

Dubbed the squeakquel (sequel) the world's most famous chipmunks are back. And this time around there are 3 more new chippettes (female chipmunks) in the block. Me and my friends (and we think all in the cinema) had some funny thoughts in their head when we heard the guy in the movie said The Chippettes. LOLX! OK, let's get back to the review now. *spoiler read on*

The movie takes off after the first and the chipmunks, which consists of Alvin (Justin Long), Simon (Matthew Gray) & Theodore (Jesse McCartney) are on tour around the world when a freak accident happen causing Dave (Jason Lee). Before he dozed off he sent the chipmunks back to their home and wanted them to go through life as normal or close to any teenagers, so they were sent to school. They were supposed to be supervised by Dave's aunt but due to another freak accident (yes, that is why we called it freak accident), the 3 of them are left to Toby (Zachary Levi). Toby is a grown up who is jobless, doesn't know what he wants in life and always ptu ptu ptu with his fingers (you will figure this out when you watch the movie). Ian Hawk (David Cross) is back and wanted revenge on the chipmunks and somehow the new chippettes gave him the best bullet to do so. But as the movie goes, the bad guys will lose and the good will win.

The movie talks about brotherly love among the three chipmunks as it is put on trial during one part of the movie. It's a lovely movie to watch with some really amazing musics from Katey Perry, Beyonce and Flo-Rida to name a few. Theodore is forever so cute in the movie with Simon being the smartest and Alvin learning that family is always more important than anything in the world. The new chippettes comprises of Brittany (Christina Applegate), Eleanor (Amy Poehler) and Jeannette (Anna Faris). Nothing spectacular but it's really nice watching it with a bunch of friends on a weekend and enjoying the cute chipmunks jumping up and down and singing around. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)
