Tawau Trip Day 2 & 3

Arrived at Semporna after 90minutes of drive from Tawau town. But not before grabbing our breakfast. We're introduced to their local breakfast of pork noodle and also polo buns. Nice~! Romiko's aunt's brother in law, Hoong and his girlfriend joined us for the trip and drove us over too. We meet up with the other group which surprisingly came from Banting. Sweet~! All Hokkien-Lang~! LOL~!
Reached Mataking Island from Semporna around 50mintues. The weather is bright and sunny. Water is bright and clear. We all checked in and had our lunch buffet. Settled in our bags and join Hoong for an adventure to the other island. OK, here's the thing, there's this small island next to the main island. The thing is that the 'road' to the island might submerged in sea water when high tides is on. So we need to make it back and fro before it happens. Water was high when we are on our way back. Suspense~! LOL!!!Changed into our snorkeling gears and off we go to the beach. As you all know, I am not a good swimmer. OK, I can't swim. Even with a life jacket I don't dare to go to a level where I can't stand. But I got a pointer from Hoong's girlfriend and I managed to stay a float on my own. From that moment, everything was history. I swam the whole beach. Without any problem at all. How cool~! Saw a lot of fishes but no sight of turtles. Sad ~! But it was an achievement for me to swim that far and all. Sweet~! We went for some jacuzzi session afterwards to relax while watching the sun sets. So nice~! What a sight~!Prepared for dinner and decided to join the jungle tracking but as it was raining, so it was cancelled. But we have fun taking pictures the whole day. So we took some time browsing the pictures and enjoying each others company. Spending quality time with my dear was the best time for me during the whole trip.

The next morning started with a long rain since late last night. So we packed our stuff and had our breakfast. Thought to grab a late swim but the tides was strong. Sad~! So we just waited for our ship to arrive by that time. So what to do but take more pictures for memory. We checked out at 3.30pm and went straight back home. Tiring trip but a nice memorable one. Romiko's brother even took us out for clubbing that night. Music was loud and the songs selections sux! But it was packed. Weird~! Hehe!
