Watch Where You Park

Something bad or rather sad happened tonight after gym. We were all happy chatting after Master T's class, when suddenly one of the member came in and ask for our help to change her tyres at the basement. Some how one of the tyre got puncture according to her. MD and me offered to help her to change the tyre (gentleman ma~!!). So we followed her to the basement and saw the flat tyre. Then suddenly we found out that the other tyre on the passenger side was also inflated. WTF??!!

This has got to be someones dirty work. We're thinking you can possibly get two flat tyres at the same time. MD found that there is some small stones in the cover of the nozzle. It seemed that someone placed the small stones to let the air out slowly. From the security guards info, they had asked FF to call upon the member 3 times during that time but as she was in the studio, so she didn't heard the announcement. S our guess that it was done by the owner of that spot. Yes, it's a reserved spot. But it was pass 7pm when she park her car. But according to the guard, the owner are entitle for the spot for the whole day and not just 9 to 5.

At the end, I got an idea of asking her to get some other members in the club who drove the same MyVi as her and borrow a spare tyre from them. Luckily some guy was so good to borrow his tyre for her. And the rest is history. We were all very surprised that someone would go to that length to sabotage her car. Sigh~! Malaysian~! Damn Pai Seh to know that someone did that to another person. One tyre I understand but two? Darn stupid~!

So Tired

This morning was quite rush for me as I had made an appointment last week with a customer at Klang in the morning and didn't realized that I normally had meeting on the first day of the week. How 'big head prawn' can I be. Called up the customer to reschedule and make it after lunch. So quickly settled all my proposals and problems before going out. Actually I need to stay back for the marketing meeting for this coming year strategy but I managed to squeezed myself out of it with the excuse of meeting up with the customer for lunch.

But in reality I had asked K-Bear for lunch as I am passing by her office. So we had BKT nearby her office. Damn the dry BKT was nice. Didn't managed to 'blog' bout it as I didn't brought my camera with me. One thing I hate bout my new phone is the 3.2MP camera. Damn lousy. Really cannot compare with SonyEricssons camera phone at all. Even a 2MP SE phone is better than mine. You can see the result from my two previous blog on the Loong Foong Roast Duck and Bellygood. Really miss my 5MP K850i right now.

Finished my appointments and drove back to office to do the forecast for this coming new year and month. Look at the time and it's around 6pm and I quickly log off and left for TC. Not much jam tonight. Lucky~! Changed and walked around TC looking for Nokia shop to get an additional stylus. But they didn't have stock. Stupid~! Master C's class was pack as usual but luckily I managed to get a spot right in front but I wasn't myself tonight as I was quite bored with the release already. Sigh~! Continued with K-Bear's pump class which turned out to be worst as I am so so so tired of the squats and back track. And we still have 2 more weeks to go. Oh god~! And Sue P is not teaching tomorrow, so do I skip the class and just do BS and BC? Sigh~!

Onitsuka Tiger Zodiac Race

This is so cool. Just wanna share with all Onitsuka Tiger's fans out there. This is the promo for their 60th Anniversary over at OT. It shows the race between the 12 or rather 13 of the Chinese Zodiac with the cat losing at the end. And now we all know why the cat is not in our zodiac. Enjoy!

Boosting The Econony Pt.2

Saturday:-
It was after my house hunting @ Kemuning that we decided to drop by Pyramid to get some beach wear for our coming Krabi trip. So as we're searching around for some good swim suits, as usual we drop by Nike and Adidas for a peek as they are having some sales. Babe got herself another pants for gym and I got myself a new T. Thanx dear for the shirt. Continued with our venture into Jusco and finally got myself two sets of beach shorts and another T-shirt. OMG, I am spending too much but it's so darn cheap. After close to 4 hours of shopping, babe still haven't decided on her swim wear. At the end we decided to call it a day or else we be shopping till dinner. Had dinner at Bellygood and got home and rest. Got some supplements for my mom at Guardian warehouse sales earlier today. What a bargain, Efamol's EPO + Fish Oil for only RM 24 per bottle of 300 caps. Money spent but for the sake of my mom's health, you can't put a price tag on that.

Sunday:-
Woke up early and spent 4 hours waiting for my babe at the saloon doing her hair. What a long day. After she's done, went to Guardian warehouse sales again to get check if their Glucosamine and their Pamelo Seed had arrived or not. The good lady was so nice to ask me to leave her my number so that she can call me when it arrive. What do you think, I had spent almost close to RM 400 at her stall. Had early dinner and went home but bro called as he wanted to get himself a sunglasses at the warehouse. So went again with bro and he managed to get himself a sunglasses at the end. Babe bought some supplements for her mom and dog. Had dinner again with bro and since I had packed the roast duck earlier, so we had Loh Mee & Fried Rice @ Tua Huat with Roast Duck from Loong Foong. Luckily the lady boss allowed us to bring in the food and ate it. Sent my babe back KBT and pack my stuff for tomorrow's class. What a long day I had.

Loong Foong Restaurant @ Taman Paramount

This has got to be the Top 3 best roast duck in town. It's on par with Sunrise and also the one at Damansara Uptown. The place I am referring to is Loong Foong at Taman Paramount. At a normal day you could see a queue starting from around 5pm and tables getting filled. During pre-CNY you can't even get a portion of duck if you didn't pre-order it earlier. Business is really that good over here. Believe me, I seen it.

So me and my babe ordered bottom halves portion for 2 pax. I had always said that I am into crispy skin type of roast duck, but this is an exemption. The scent and taste of herbs on the meat is so darn strong that you can smell it when you entered the restaurant. The meat is so tasty and juicy when you sink your teeth into it. But the portion was a bit stingy for us. So I wasn't that full at the end the meal. (RM 14/2 pax bottom halves)

So since I am not full I had decided to take away half a duck (bottom halves). Just kidding, this is for my future in laws. I had ordered bottom halves and the price is RM 24, but if you ordered half bottom half top it's RM 22. But at the end, this half a duck went down my stomach during 2nd round of dinner with my bro.

Other than roast duck they do sell Acar to go with it. But I am not into it so I didn't order. What makes the duck so tasty, well I guess it's the spice they use and also their expertise in controlling the fire during roasting time. So it's not that dry when you eat it. For those who live in PJ should have heard of this place before. Better be here quick as I think their duck will be finish around 7pm or so. Rating: 4.0 out of 5.0

House Hunting @ Kota Kemuning

I was out house hunting after lunch at Kota Kemuning. Roamed around SOS area but most of the houses were either sold out or corner lots. There were a lot of unoccupied houses but without any sign of selling or anything. Called up a real estate agent and managed to meet up with one of the agent and check out the new place called Indah Elite and Residences.

This is the Indah Residences design which is in the second phase now. First phase sadly to say is sold out except for some end lots and corner. Selling price starts from RM305,000. Second phase starts from RM353,000 and will be completed next year August. I saw the show house for the phase 1 and was quite impressed with it. Although it's not as amazing comparing with the one at Putra Prima but it's still better than the others. As the design was very modern.

This is the earlier phase which is called Indah Elite which consist of Phase 1 & 2. Phase 2 starting price is RM298,00 but the real estate is asking for RM 357,000 for the ready units, damn it~! Might as well I get the new Indah Residences II. End of the day I am still deciding as RM 350K for a house is a bit to difficult for me alone to support. So I am still open for opinons out there, anyone got any good property to introduce?

Bellygood @ Dataran Mentari

Finally decided to go over Bellygood after some time of delaying. The restaurant is located at Dataran Mentari opposite Yuen Steamboat and in between two steamboat restaurants. This is definitely a place for pork lovers (like me) and the price is on the safe side to.

Ordered a pot of Earl Grey to cleanse our thirst upon arrival. So nice to see that they did supply a pot of brown sugar to go with the pot. Other than teas, they do served wine, imported beers and also juices. (RM 6.90/pot)

To warm up our belly before the main dish, I had ordered their soup of the day which is the mushroom soup. It comes with a slice of garlic bread too. Minced mushroom rather then those can type mushroom which we drink else where. Nice~! (RM 8.30)

I had ordered a started for both of us to share before the main. This is one of the must eat dish in the restaurant, Sausage Platter. There are 4 types of sausages in the platter which consists of grilled pork chorizo, chicken chorizo, pork oriental and spicy Hungarian. It's served with fries (my favourite) and thai chilli sauce. Juicy and nice to bite into. But the taste is a bit too salty for me on the chicken chorizo I think. But the rest was good. (RM 26.90)

This is definitely a must order if you drop by this place. It's one of their house specialty, Grilled Pork Belly. It's succulent grilled pork belly marinated with pekin sauce served with coleslaw (a bit dry and not that cold) and mashed potatoes (no garlic, sad). They do recommend Merlot from Columbia Crest to go with the pork. First bite into the meat and I was amazed. It was so soft and lean at the same time. It's like eating Char Siew the Western style. Since it's pork belly so their practically using the same part as Char Siew. Half lean and half fat, bite by bite, it's so succulent. (RM 21.90 for Regular)

Overall the place do served some really decent and nice food which do not cut deep into your wallet. The total bill only comes to RM73 for all of the above. And they do serve Movenpick ice cream if you want dessert. We were famish at the end of the meal. Definitely will be going back again to try out their other dishes like the Grilled Pork Chop and Grilled Pork Ribs. (Rating: 4.0 out of 5.0)

I Survived Body Balance 44 @ Consplant

OK OK, for those who were there, I didn't really do the whole Body Balance 44 but rather a sizzler of a few tracks from it. Well let me start from the beginning before getting into that. Arrived early as usual and saw JJ doing his usual class in his bling bling shirt last night. If the lighting is bright enough, I guess you can get blinded by his shirt. LOL!! Started the class of the night with K-Bear's pump class. Wow~ ! Full house! Hence I was force to set my bench right in front of her, yet again. LOL!! As promised I had increased my weights again last night for most of the tracks. Luckily my legs wasn't tired from the previous night RPM class.

We all continued with Body Combat after the heavy lifting session. My elbow as usual was a bit sore even before the class. But I still continued with the class as my presence was 'needed' in the class. LOL! Still can't get the conditioning chore right although it's my 4th class already. Head ache. So after the class, K-Bear wanna shared some moves from the new Body Balance 44 with me. What the heck, I was up to anything from BB. LOL!! It was quite tough for the abs track and the standing strength wasn't that bad too. So can considered that I had survived Body Balance 44 too. Sweet~!!!

I Survived RPM 42 @ Consplant

Finally I had sit on the spinner and completed my first RPM class in 3 years. Well close to 3 years I guess. It's been close to 3 years and I haven't join a single RPM class ever. So tonight I had decided to give it a try. Why tonight you ask? Well mostly cause it's one of our BKLTL member, QQ's maiden class. Fully give face to you already la. LOL! I was running late but still managed to arrived and sign in before class. Get my bike to the back of the class in between SOS. Yup, LP was there too and it's her virgin class too. LOL!!

QQ was so nice to come over to help me adjust my spinner to my comfort and safety. Extra point for details and helping new members there. I was really excited as I heard so much of RPM classes beforehand. Mix feeling of excitement and also worries as someone told me that if it's done wrong, I might hurt my knee or worst. So I just follow QQ's instructions and all went well. Deep impression on Track 2 and 7 as it's very hard and because it's recycled from Body Combat too. Track 2 was Dance Floor Anthem which I really like. So I was all pump up and shouting (a bit) during the track. It was so damn tough as we need to climb some hills and sprint. Track 4 Human from The Killers was a nice song to do. Don't really remembered much of the chore as I was sweating like a dog under the sun.

Track 7 was Cascada's Because The Night, damn I was really hyper when I heard that song but damn it was another hard track to do. It's so damn long with lots of uphill and sprint in between. My legs was really tired during this track. But found out that the class only has 8 tracks, Hallelujah!!! Finished the class in one piece and sweats was running all over my body. Damn this is one hell of a good work out. Should join more of this RPM classes in the future. After that we all went for minum and thanx again QQ for the supper. Ya lor, we all cheap labour, one plate of nasi lemak with ayam goreng is enough to get us in the class anytime. LOL!

Home Loan

It was around 8.15am this morning when my alarm sounded and I can still hear the rain outside my house. Oh, what a good night sleep. Why am I still sleeping? Well this is because I have an appointment at Shah Alam later this morning at 10.30am. So I can still slumber on my bed till 9.30am before waking up and get ready. The rain isn't that heavy anymore so I slowly drive to my destination and finish up before noon. Head back to the office and had lunch with my colleague. Appointment with KNSQ @ Jaya One today to discuss some stuff on home loan. Thanx again dear for your time and info. Will definitely give you a ring when I had decided on anything.

I was initially not going to gym tonight as someone told me that Sue P and Master T is not teaching. But I had some last minute news that Sue P is going to teach tonight and some guy name Loh is replacing Master T. Well what the heck, since everyone is going. So pack my stuff and drove to Consplant as usual for Brian's Step class. I was so energetic during the warm up first 3 tracks but I it was totally 180 degree change during the forth track. I don't know why? I was really bored, demotivated and wasn't concentrating at all. PMS? LOL!!! But managed to finish off the class at the end.

Continued with Sue P's class and decided to increased my weight for the night. But was worried of my form tonight. What the heck, just whack it lar. So I increased on the warm up, squats, back, lunges, shoulder and biceps. Yes, I used weight during lunges. Like K-Bear said, it's not a long track and it's not that hard. Finally it's the new guy, Loh time to teach Body Combat. What do I think overall? His ques wasn't on the spot (well according to LP) but I didn't follow much as I just do based on my memory. Motivation is there but lack power in the punches as I can see that he his punches and cross was very fake. LOL!!! Nevertheless, all the chore was done right, if I remembered correctly. So it wasn't a bad class. Finished up and had minum session and had a long talk later when QQ joined us. What a good topic to share right? LOL!! Will definitely have a part 2 on it.

Weights: Warm up: 6kgs, Squats: 15kgs; Chest: 8.5kgs; Back: 11kgs; Triceps: 6kgs; Biceps: 6kgs; Shoulders; Press On The Bar with 6kgs; Lunges: 6kgs

Be Transformed

Me and my babe was at 1U last weekend for some little shopping and ended up at Nike Women. So I saw the banner on the Be Transformed thingy on their counter. If I am not mistaken it has been 2 weeks? since I had won a necklace from the contest. So I called upon the sales girl and ask her if I my name is listed and can I have the necklace. She checked but didn't found my name. But she asked me to show her the bluetooth picture which I received from FF. To cut the story short, she was so nice to let me choose the necklace or pouch but I choose the necklace and wrote down my names and details. So finally I redeemed my necklace and gave it to my babe.

I was in the office the whole day clearing the paper work but most of the time trying to figure out what is wrong with the new printer I bought. There is a very long delay time after each print. Something wrong with the installation I guess. Look at the time and it's 6.10pm and quickly pack and drove to TC. No jam at all, sweet~! Saw Master T but he wasn't there for TT or doing any class but just for dinner. As usual Master C class was ever pack and it's the first launch class after last week for me. Continued with K-Bear pump class with special appearance from IM. We all agreed that we need to load up our weights for this release as it's lack intensity. Anyway, added up my weights on clean & press and trying to add up on my chest on my next class. Hopefully I can still finish the track with the new weights. LOL!

MD's House Warming

This is one long day for me and my babe. I woke up early in the morning to do my laundry before getting a call from my bro asking me to go over his house for breakfast. So we went over and had a short breakfast before heading off to Puchong to meet the real estate agent that show us some houses behind Tesco. Location wise is really good as it's so near to Tesco, I think it's less than 5 minutes drive away. And the price is so reasonable too. Moreover it's already completed. But the house is built on top of a mining land and is a list hold. Wasted~! Drove back to Putra Prima to show my parents the house me and my bro had decided to buy.

After the whole house hunting, managed to coaxed my parents to follow us for some shopping at The Curve. Damn it was jam going over that day. Maybe it's due to school holidays and all. We reached The Curve around 30 minutes. Had late lunch and finally call it a day around 4.30pm. Had another outing later at 6pm. We're all invited to MD's new house at Setia Alam. So I only managed to take a short shut eye and my head is a bit ache after that. Equipped with my trusty GPS, I managed to locate MD's house with ease.

We all went to Boston for dinner and went back to his house to chill. Toured the whole house, watched a movie and had lots of drinks and snacks in between. Left around 1.30pm is it? I am so tired but I am so awake as I drank a lot of coffee that day. LOL!

From South to North

It was definitely a long day for me yesterday. Again, if anyone of you didn't saw me online (MSN) for the whole day, it could only mean I am too busy to online. Starting from early morning, I drove over Senawang for site seeing and also meeting with the engineers at Samsung. Luckily I had managed to arrived early and try to finish early too as I had another meeting after lunch at Sg. Buloh. So I quickly drove to Sg. Buloh overhead bridge to wait for my contractor to bring him over the factory. But the customer couldn't make it earlier so it's back to the earlier plan. Spent one hour having lunch there while waiting for my contractor. Got everything done around 4pm and reached home to take a bath before driving down KBT to give my babe a surprise. Yes, she didn't know that I'll be coming down to fetch her as I told her I was tired from driving the whole day. Yes, she's surprised and very happy that I am there. Mission accomplished.

Started the first class with K-Bear's pump class. Unfortunately we're not doing the new release but nevertheless we had a list of good tracks waiting for us. As I had requested for the biceps track last night. But surprisingly I wasn't that struggling during the biceps compared to last Tuesday during Sue P's class. But my tummy was giving me some problem, I think it got air so I walk out during the 9th track. Babe joined us with Body Combat after her Yoga class with Chris. Class was pack tonight with lots of newbies. Babe managed to finish the whole class in one piece. Have to give her credit for that as she can't even finish track 3 previously when she'd just join.

Went for minum session and we decided to change the venue this time around. So SOS, FP me and babe went to Kwai Sum for some late supper. Yes, I even had Hokkien Noodle with extra lard. Fattening but why care so much. LOL!!! Had a long talk bout Ah Piow again tonight and our trip up North this coming month. Even saw some FF instructors sitting next to our table but didn't know their names. LOL! I think one of them is TD??!!

  1. Stuck On You
  2. The Whistle Song
  3. Move Ur Ass
  4. Tribal Dance
  5. How Far We've Come
  6. Full Metal Jackass
  7. Hardcore Paradise
  8. Sea of Love
  9. Sound of The Underground
  10. World in Union 95

I Survived Body Pump 69 & Body Combat 39 @ Pavillion

Yes, I had decided to go for True Fitness launch tonight. Since Master T passed me some VIP free passes so I thought why not. Arrived quite early as I thought of joining Body Pump launch over there. Went in and saw Wanie and Jason coming in after me. Since Jason is interested in joining the pump class so we quickly changed and get our boards. Damn the class was pack. So I had decided to place our board at the back of the class. Two girls instructors were launching but didn't catch their names. Quite skinny for a pump instructor, so it's not that convincing. Everything was OK but the whole class was quite dull even for a normal class. Well there is some normal shout here and there but that was it. But I do like their equipments as it's brand new.

Quickly get a spot next to the stage as the others combaters are waiting patiently outside to come in. As the four instructors, Master T, Lorraine, Kelvin and Simone went on stage, the rest of the members quickly came in and take their places. Damn pack but luckily I was in front so still can kick and shuffle. Master T kick off the class from Track 1 till 3.

He was shouting all the way to boost the crowd before passing the mic to Lorraine who did Track 4 till 6. I think she's a bit tired as her techniques was a bit off. Kelvin took over from Muay Tai and power track. Damn he's really a power bunny as he was so pump up and ready to go. Heck I was pump too as I can't wait to do Track 7. But he did the same mistake twice for both side. WTH??!!! And the last cool down is lead by Master T as predicted. Simone not leading tonight as she's just shadowing but her technique and choreograph was precise.

Had a talk outside the studio with Master T, Lorraine and Simone bout the release and all. Heck we even get some new ideas for the cool down. LOL!!! Bath and went for makan quickly as it's almost 10pm and they close early. Had a bowl of Taiwan beef noodle soup and damn it was filling. Was going to the car park when I forgot which floor I park. Damn I looked almost every floor. But finally found my car after some suspense moment. Stupid Pavilion car park.

What A Small World Pt.4

Now I believe when they say that P.J is not that large. Was having lunch with my babe and two other friends at TTDI when I saw someone familiar. Hence the following text message begins:

Me: Hey! Eating Loh Shi Fun is it? BO (cause she didn't have my number at that time)

Mysterious Girl: Where r u? I want to escape

Me: Haha! Quickly run la

Mysterious Girl: D one beside d red shirt women is my group MD. And i'll be complaining bout d white shirt gal in my blog tonight. Haha ... Too bad d witch is not here, else u can put a face to d names

Me:oic, happy complaining then. Oh ya, can include the bill of my table under ur company ar? hehe!

Mysterious Girl: Haha ... better hope we dun need to chip in. Oh but too late. Paid. Hey see u some time k. good seeing u. have a great day ahead. dun forget to wave.

Me: *Waving at her ...*

Yup, no money for guessing it right, it was TTB. I saw you again babe. I think we need to make a date and have lunch together next time. Since I have your number now. LOL!!! I think you should know who pass me the number right?

Decided not to go for any launch tonight as I wanted to rest my body from last two days of intense work out. I read from a magazine that said, we need to let our body to recover at least 48 hours, after doing some heavy lifting (resistance) workout. Two days of Body Pumps and not including the other classes, well I think my body had enough. So where do I go tomorrow? Some might know already, but I haven't decided yet to go or not. We will see how tomorrow goes.

I Survived Body Pump 69 & Body Combat 39 @ TC

Was supposed to make it for Body Step class this evening but didn't managed to make it at the end. So I waited for my babe and drove to TC around 5.30pm. Thought of joining Body Attack but ended up having an early dinner before the class with my babe. Walk back to gym and meet up with Wanie and Master T. Body Pump was a full house class tonight. It is lead by Sue P and Crystal with Jason Y team teaching. Luckily I ate some food before hand hence I am not that tired. Biceps is really a killer when you're carrying 6kgs. LOL!!! Babe joined Body Jam class afterward. Damn it was so freaking full. It's like a human aquarium in there.

Finally Body Combat class started at 8.30pm. Surprisingly it wasn't as pack as usual (launching). But it was quite crowded in front. Managed to secured my usual spot with babe and Wanie at the side. Janis was leading from Track 1 till 5 and Renee continued the rest. Track 1 was nice to do where as Track 2 is just alright. Track 3 till 5 is a bit normal and not much intensity. Track 6 is a nice song but the combo move is not that effective. As there wasn't much intensity of it. I still like Track 7 (Muay Tai) the most. As I can do a jump knee finale at the end. And yes, the whistle sound during the track do sound a bit La La~!! But I like it. Track 8 was a bit disappointing as it wasn't as strong as the previous release. Conditioning was totally ineffective as it was too short and not much in pack. Cool down is nice as I like the song and there's a katta in it.

Personal note, this launch is a bit disappointing compared to the previous launch. I guess is that the crowd's moods isn't built at the beginning of the track. Hence it's very hard for us to really give it all during the end. There is not much hype or crazy shouting and all during this launch. Really a let down. I think a normal class at Curve on a Monday night is far more better than tonight's crowd and intensity. Finished the class and had a minum session with Master T, Jac, Wanie, LP and babe. What else but more gossiping to pass the night.

Monday, March 16

I Survived Body Step 75 & Body Pump 69 @ KBT

I was still deciding whether to travel down to KBT for K-Bear's Pump launch with Jason K or remain at TC with Master C's usual class. But since Riyo will be launching there with Kenny for Step, I had decided to go over KBT at the end. I arrived around 5.30pm and saw Debbie and Sally. Chat with them until Riyo and Kenny started off the first launch of the week. It was very pack but luckily I managed to get a spot right in front of the stage together with them. Saw a lot of the usual step members from all around TC and Consplant over here tonight.

Body Step 75, it's loud and it's full of new moves. It's a bit confusing at the beginning. Well maybe I am so used of Brian's que by now and not the other instructors. Couldn't really hear the music but just loud music and the instructor's voice. But nevertheless, we had fun all around. There are a few new moves even from the warm up tracks. Not that hard to follow for the usual step members. Gonna join Brian's launch this Wenesday at Consplant with Eric. Hopefully it's not that pack.

Continued with K-Bear's Pump launch with Jason K. As this is my 3rd class for this new release, I am well aware of the difficulty level of it. Hence I had increase some of the weights (squats & biceps). The rest is the same as I am still a bit tired from the previous class. Warm up was a bit too soft for me. Not enough power or motivation to get me started. Biceps is a bit tough if you increase your weight (6kgs). Lunges isn't that tough unless you didn't lock up your knees during the squats part. Shoulder track is a bit rushing as we need to change from bar to plates to push up and so on. But all together it's still a good work out. Didn't joined Body Combat as the class was so damn pack. So many hard core members doing their wraps before the class.

Finished off and had a chat with Debbie, Sally, LP, CP and Michael. Decided to go for minum session to gossip on further of our earlier discussion over a cup of coffee at Old Town. Damn we're loud and noisy. My babe came to join us half way as she had joined the Body Jam launch earlier. Call it a night when the waiter passed us the bill as they need to close shop. Long drive home and thinking of the launch that I am gonna join for tomorrow and the day after at TC and Consplant. Sweet~~~~!!!

Yik Kee Noodle House @ Segamat

Finally before I left Segamat, I managed to get a taste of their so famous Wan Tan Mee. The place is no other then Yik Kee. I think everyone who had been to Segamat or from Segamat can tell you that this is the best noodle in town. You can see a lot of similar names in town but make no mistake as this is the original stall. It's located next to the field. You can't miss it.

Although the place only operate with 4 - 5 people but they are very efficient. As they can prepare 30 plates of wan tan noodle to in around 5 - 10mins tops inclusive of other patrons too.

They served only wan tan noodle and wan tan noodle alone (if I am not mistaken). They have this special drink called Cincau Pineapple which you can try if you are there. Sounds interesting but my babe ordered bali for me as I was busy snapping pictures all around.

First impression is the most crucial. I had asked for half lean half fat char siew to go with my noodle. Yes, they do let you 'customize' your noodle. Noodle is tangy and not too dry. Just the way I like it. Thick soy sauce is sufficient to give you the taste of it but not too bitter. I am very impress with the cook able to maintain the quality of the food even on mass production. Yes, we ordered almost 30 plates of noodle that day.

Nothing special on the wan tan but there are about 5 of them per set. But I heard that the quality had drop slightly from the family members if compared to last time. Well maybe it's due to the mass production today? Anyway, it's definitely on my to makan place if I am even to drop by again.

It was really a massive gathering of both the bride & groom's family members that day. What a memorable breakfast we had. I think we can give this picture to the owner and hang it to their wall next time. LOL! I think there is at least 30 over people inlcusive of childrens that day.

Nan Yang Coffee Shop @ Segamat

I was told by locals that this is the best coffee shop in whole Segamat. It's called Nan Yang Coffee Shop which is located in the town centre. Judging by the interior, I can say that this place had been operating for more than 30 years or so.

It was full house when we arrived around 9.30am.But luckily we got a table due to some 'connection'. They served the usual coffee shop dishes like nasi lemak, roti bakar, mee hoon and coffee.

The half boiled eggs was a bit disappointing as it was over boiled. But you can't blame them as they are still using the conventional way of cooking it without the filter. So time control is very crucial.

The toast with kaya is a must for first timer. Nothing special on the toast but the kaya is very nice and not to sweet. There is also butter which is melted into the toast. Delicious. They offer two type of toast and the other one is toast bun. It too are soft and nice to eat.

Actually the best food over there was the packet nasi lemak but it was sold off when we arrived. So I had decided to try out their mee hoon. Which tasted not bad. They have noodle too if you don't like vermicelli.

I had ordered their coffee but forgot to take a snap of it as I was really thirsty and hungry at that time. Was too busy snapping all around the place. You can really feel that you're in the 60s when you step into the shop as the ambiance down to the decoration and kitchen utensils are so nostalgic. Definitely a place to stop by before leaving to have a sip of coffee and bread in the morning. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)

My Segamat Trip

Friday:-
It was Friday evening when I started my journey down to Segamat. Equipped with my GPS and 3 pretty girls in my car we started our journey and reached around 6pm. Freshen up in the house Eva rented for us before headed for dinner with the family members. Food was quite disappointing hence, I won't be blogging bout it. We didn't have much to do on the first night but just chatting with each other on tomorrow plans.

Saturday:-
Woke up early morning thought of trying out the best Wanton Noodle in Segamat, Yik Kee but it's too early and they haven't started business yet. Hence, tried another stall called Cheong Yik Kee and it was really plain. Started to get dress and prepare all the stuff to be played on the
'Heng Tais'. Yes, I am part of the 'Chee Muis'. LOL~!!! The Heng Tais was really sporting and managed to finished off most of the games. So all of us went to the groom's house afterwards. Quickly came out after that to try out this famous Bak Kut Teh place Jess was talking about. Please see my post later. Dinner starts at 7.30pm as people there are very punctual. Dinner ends around 10pm and we all headed home to rest.

Sunday:-
Woke up early to try out the famous kopitiam stall called Nan Yang. Damn it was pack but the most of the bride's family members was there and we managed to get a table when we arrived. It's their custom to go for second after Nan Yang. So off we go to Yik Kee for their Wanton Noodle. Yes~!! What a sight! We had 8 tables combined together for all of us. There were at least 30 plates of Wanton Noodle on the table. It was so noisy all of us were talking and laughing bout everything. Started off my journey back around 11.30am and reached at 2pm. Sent Jess & Priss back to home before headed to Putra Prima to look at the new launch house. I was really amazed and satisfied with the design and package. But location is a major factor. Drop by my bro's house to have a discussion with him on this. Had late lunch with them and check out another property at Kinrara before heading home. Damn the rain was so heavy just now. Gonna rest early as I am so damn exhausted from all the driving.

Travel, Travel, Travel

Finally booked the tickets for my trip with babe to Krabi this coming May. Quite a bargain as the flight tickets were less then RM200/pax. We'll be staying at this 4 star resort called Krabi La Playa. Heard from my housemate that the place is quite convenient and sort of happening too. 4 days 3 nights tour inclusive of accommodation, breakfast, return airport transport, free city tour and tasting their famous duck noodle. I think we got the price for the coming MATTA fair. Just saw the rate for Hong Kong and Bali just now from my housemate. Very interesting, Hong Kong & ShenZhen 7 days 6 night for less then RM800. I love travelling when we got the best deal in town. LOL!!!

Didn't managed to joined Jean's Yoga tonight as I left my office at 6pm. Sky was dark, rain was pouring down like cats and dogs. Got stuck in a jam from Eastin Hotel till BU tol, but at the end I managed to reach Summit on time. Was fooling around with my new gadget's GPS on the way to Summit. Damn it's so cool~! Master T was a bit late tonight and heck we did some really old tracks tonight. As I was about to pay my parking ticket just now, I realized that it's not in my pocket. WTF~! Search high and low and finally rush back to the gym and locker room. No luck! Fark! When I was about to leave a nice guy walk up to me and said, "Looking for this?" Hell yeah~! It was my parking ticket. He saw the ticket next to the mirror in the locker. Suddenly felt so lucky tonight.

Apple® iPhone™ 3G Has Landed

Finally it's here, Apple® iPhone™ 3G has finally arrived on our shore. I received a message from my brother who told me that Maxis got the privileged of distributing the phone in Malaysia. The phone is now open for booking till 17th March. The official launch will be held at KL Convention Centre from 20th - 22nd of March. You be reading bout this in tomorrow's paper too.

So what's so neat about this phone, well other then it's outlook which is so slick and thin, I can't think of anything else but lots of nifty software that comes with it. It's running on 3G with built in WiFi and GPS too. Well it's more of a stylo phone for youngsters. As for power users, it's not that suitable as they probably more comfortable with a communicator or E71 phone. But nevertheless, it's finally here and I think there will be a lot of people lining up in front of Maxis this coming week to grab one of this baby. The plan is a bit confusing for me but I think you still need to pay a certain amount of money and bond for at least 6 months to 2 years with a certain rate each month. You can view the rate here.

I Won Something Tonight

Usual Monday routine but was especially busy today as I had so much problem to settle and luckily my Manager help me out on most of the matters. Look at the time and it's already 1pm. Have lunch with my colleagues and continued with solving the problems one by one. Look at the time and it's time to go for my usual work out.

Brian wasn't teaching tonight and Janet was replacing. It was really a low impact class. Didn't felt much at the end of the class even though I adjusted to the 3rd level on the step board. Sigh~! Continued with Sue's class but was standing at the back of the class tonight. LOL! It was a good work out but not too tough except for the biceps which was really a killer. Forgot the name but it sounds like a X'mas song. Any ideas? Suggested most of the tracks in the class but half way through I was really bored. Maybe I can't wait for the new release. Went down and won something from Nike. Gonna collect it at Nike Women this week. Lucky~!!!

Have minum session as the rain resided when we left. KNSQ decided to join us and so does CP and FP. KNSQ got a new car, Peugeot 308. LOL~!!! Nice!! (free advertisement!!)

Coco's Back

Finally after almost 1 week of disappearing, Coco is finally back. I had searched high and low from back lanes to houses to back alleys but I couldn't locate this silly cat. We (babe, housemates) were really giving up hope. As we thought that someone had capture Coco and lock him up some place. But at the least expected time while me and my babe were watching our drama around 12midnight this morning, I heard a very familiar sound. It's Coco's necklace bell. I quickly leap off my bed and rushed out to the main door and saw Coco running in while crying (sounded really like crying) and rush to his bed. He was munching on his cat food like he's not eaten anything for weeks. So we poured in another full bowl and he finished it too.

Gave him one can of cat tuna and he finished it too. One thing for sure, he is very hungry and was purring (like crying) all the while. We were all very happy and glad that Coco is back. Gonna lock him up in the house for at least 3 days before deciding whether to let him out again or not. Gave him a bath today and he is all manja the whole day with us. I think someone drop him off some where far away and he traced his way back here and was really really hungry and miss us all. But the most important thing is that, he is safe and back with us all. Silly cat~!

Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant @ The Gardens

Was deciding where to have lunch today at The Gardens and finally my babe wanted to eat some Chinese cuisine, so settled with Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant. Place was pack when we arrived, so we waited for 5 mins before they get a seat for us. Ordered some Chrysanthemum Tea for both of us to cleanse our thirst.

I had ordered some Sweet Potato Balls for light eating before the main dish. This is one of the popular or must order for this place. Surprisingly my babe who doesn't like potato all this while, loved this dish. So it must be good.

I had decided to try their 3 Variety Supreme Diced Chicken. The taste is really good and portion was moderate.

The dish come with three side dishes and

soup of the day, Chicken and Winter Melon Soup. Nice!

Rice is accompanied with minced pork.

My babe decided on Taiwan Braised Beef Noodle. It's not as spicy as I imagine which was quite disappointing for me. 5 slices of beef which is quite moderate too. But the whole portion was generous.

The place was totally pack when we left. There were around 10 or more people waiting outside when we left. So better be early if you wanted to try out this place. The whole meal cost me RM67++. Most of their sets starts from RM19++. The tea is RM 12 while the sweet potato balls is RM5.30. A bit expensive for a normal lunch but we need to pamper ourselves once in a while I guess. Onitsuka Tiger 2009 Spring/Summer Series

Woke up damn early this morning. Don't know why but I slept around 3am this morning but woke up around 7.45am. So went out and look for Coco. Yes, he's been missing for 4 days. Can't really traced where he is. Sigh~! Miss my tiger. So decided to go over Midvalley today for some market boosting again. LOL!! Saw Japanese fair at MV but didn't managed to get anything. But saw a booth selling Amino Collagen, interesting.

Found out that they are selling the new Tokidoki Lawnship 2nd Series at Sole What. Although it's also Tokidoki series, but the previous one looks more cartoon-ish and this one is a bit more mature. But I guess I like the previous edition as there's more animation on it.

They have 3 colors over there and another one for women. No, I didn't get one as I promised my babe I won't buy it since I just changed my handphone two days ago. But it's still a nice shoe. So for those who like Tokidoki as much as I do, can try this one out since it's a Limited Edition.

Saw a very familiar Japanese character at the Concourse, Yes it's Hello Kitty by Mac. So cute. Continued with my shopping and bumped into Jason K. as he was waiting for his wife. Chat a while with him before continuing with my jalan session. Spent 5 hours over at Gardens and MV. Just managed to bought groceries for my house rather then for myself. Left around 5.30pm and was stuck in a jam at Federal Highway. Anyone know what happened?

Congratulation My Sister

It was really a wonderful night for Eva and Desmond last night and I am so honored to be the Master of Ceremony for the night. Saw a lot of my old friends from school and the old minum gang. It was some sort of gathering for me. Everyone was so lovely and elegant that night. So next round would be Tania & Pang's wedding now. Last but not least, Congratulation to my dearest sis, Eva and her husband, Desmond and best wishes on for the new wedded couple.

Hectic Hectic Week

This week had got to be one of those super packed and busy for me. As my sister is having her wedding yesterday, there was a rehearsal during last Wednesday before I left for my trip to Labuan the next day. I came back on Friday afternoon but needed to rush back to office to settle some paper work and some serious matters. Head was really light that day as I didn't have enough to eat maybe. So before going to gym, I took an early dinner and went to gym. Skipped Step class as I was not in the mood for it and I decided to cut down on my Step classes.

Joined K-Bear's Pump class and it was some familiar tracks from last Monday. Nevertheless, it was a good work out. Found a new spot at the back and was getting comfortable of it now. LOL!!! Was really getting better on the squats and also clean & press now days. Practice really do make perfect. Continued with Combat class after that and it was quite quiet tonight as MD, QQ and KNSQ wasn't here tonight. So it was just SOS, FP and me. Didn't go for minum as FP don't have visa, SOS need to rest early for next morning trip back PR and I need to rush to my sis hen's night dinner. Yes, you heard me right.

My New Gadget - Nokia 5800 Xpress Music

Finally I had bought this gadget which I mentioned few weeks ago, Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. The reason is that my SE K850i is giving me a lot of problem but I drew the line when the LCD screen started to blank off. So what's so great about this smart phone? Well for starter the large 3.2" 16Million Color TFT screen with 16:9 wide screen is really something to brag about. Running on the latest Symbian S60 5th edition on a ARM 11 369MHz with 128MB of SDRAM memory. Camera is a downgrade for me from a 5MP to a 3.2MP but this baby is running on Carl Zeiss lense with auto-focus camera with dual LED flash.

What I like about this baby is that it's running on 3.5G HSDPA band. Capable of GPS receiver and WIFI ready. TV output and FM radio on RDS. 3.5mm standard audio jack for good music indulgence. Bluetooth and USB v2.0 connectivity. Running on microSD memory which is so cheap in the market now days. Accelerometer sensor for automatic UI rotation and motion-based gaming. Hopefully this baby will get me through many many years to come. Definitely value for money. Well old things don't go, new stuff don't come

Weng Hing Hokkien Mee @ Imbi

It has been years since I last visited Mr. Sin's Hokkien Mee. During the day the place served Pork Noodle, Egg Tarts and Char Kuey Teow to name a few. It's located at Weng Hing Kedai Kopi at the intersection opposite Honda showroom. I don't think you can miss this shop.

I read some where that the Hokkien Mee is cooked with specially ordered tender noodles which absorb the essence of the flounder powder. To me the sambal chilly that come with the noodle is really important. It must be spicy and not too dry.

As you can see their Hokkien Mee comes with big fresh prawns, squids, fish cake and cabbages. The noodle that they used are rather thinner compared to the one I had at Ah Wah and Damansara. It's not that watery like the other two which I like. Definitely another good stall for Hokkien Mee. (RM6.50/plate)

A good plate of Hokkien Mee is determine by the good control of the wok and also fire during the cooking process. One good thing bout Mr. Sin is that they do not mass produce the noodle like Ah Wah and Damansara Hokkien Noodle. Other then Hokkien Mee they are also famous for their Cantonese Fried Mee with thick sauce, Loh Mee with steamed egg custard and vinegar. (Rating: 4.0 out of 5.0)
