Tawau Trip Day 1

This is gonna be a long post, sorry but bare with me as I will try to make it as brief as possible for your reading pleasure and before you fall asleep reading it. LOL!!! We started our journey at 5 in the morning leaving my house. Reached LCCT at 5.40am and checked in. Grab quickie breakfast at McD and off we go to the boarding terminal. Flight got delayed for almost 2 hours. Fark~! Some weather problem I think. Managed to reached Tawau airport around noon. Romiko's aunt waited for us in her car. Pai Seh~!She took us for lunch at this place which served Fish Head Noodles. It was one of their many local favorite (I will get into the food section in my other post for now). She took us for a Tawau town tour before heading back to her place. It took us less than 30mins to finished the tour. They have one cinema/cineplex to be exact. They don't have McD but they do have a few of KFC restaurants. They had all the local and foreign banks which makes transaction a breeze.
Went over to her aunt's shop which is nearby their house. It's a shop that sells Chinese Wedding Custom Accessories. This is the only shop of it's kind in Tawau. So business is really good. Headed back to the house for a bath and rest. Prepared for dinner tonight at Sepintu. It's a place famous for their seafood. Nice~! Romiko's aunt brought over a bottle of liquor for a drink during the dinner. Sweet~! Dinner was superb. Ate some really weird food but it was nice. Had another supper session with Romiko's brother and her secondary school friend.
Damn it was a long day. Need to wake up early tomorrow for our Mataking Island trip. Need to wake up around 8am as we need to reach Semporna before 10am. But we are looking forward for the whole trip. Sweet~!
