This is definitely a chick flick but since babe was so eager to watched it so I had no choice but to accompanied. Well, OK, to be frank, I was a bit interested too of how the story goes after the first installment, Twilight. I think after the first episode, the name Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart. This is the two most recognizable name from the first movie and ironically even I know the former name by now. But the second movie focuses more on Bella's life, played by Kristen, after Edward, played by Robert left her as to protecting her in his opinion. So the other character, Jacob played by the handsome young hunk Taylor Lautner. *spoiler*
The story pick up after Edward decided that he's more safer away from Bella and left abruptly. Bella life crumbles down and she couldn't live her life without him being at her side for months. Well, not until he pick up her relationship with her old friend, Jacob. Things started to get better until Jacob expresses his feeling for her and their relationship gets really complicated. Jacob finally lived his destiny to being a werewolf after joining Sam. Bella had a near death experience and Edward mistakenly thought she dies so he decided to go to the Voultran to end his life. And this time around it's the ladies who came to the guy's rescue. At the end of the story, she decided to have Edward to change her to a Vampire to live forever with him.
The rest, you need to wait for the final installment called Eclipse. Not sure when it's coming out but I guess most probably next year. As mentioned this is a chick flick but I guess it's still a good movie although it's a bit slow on the pace. The fighting scene are so good and some worth mentioning was during the fight between Laurent & the pack of werewolf and not to mention the Voultran fight scene too. So damn cool. Worth a watch if you had watched the first installment, well at least to complete the trilogy of course. Did I fall asleep? Although it's a 2 hours movie but I still managed to stayed awake and enjoyed the movie at the end. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)

Ya, the story pace is very slow. Cause it's a novel adaptation and they talk really cheesy and corny lines too.
But I guess the highlight of the show (for someone) was when Jacob took off his shirt and showing his 6 packs. WooHoo!!!
most people i know (who reads the book) were quite dissapointed with the movie. huhu. btw, jacob is hot :D
