PC Fair @ KLCC

Woke up early today around 7.30am to finished off my weekly report. Drove over to Court 9 to pick up my friend, Bingy for breakfast. Initially planned to go Lorong Selamat Char Kuey Teow but the coffee shop didn't open (Damn~!). So we took our breakfast opposite the street. Chany joined us and passed me his wedding card.

So off we go to KLCC for PC Fair. Like always, a lot of people queueing up at the elevator and stairs waiting to go in. So what's cheap on this PC Fair, well BenQ 22" LCD is selling at RM655 (cash and carry). As always memory card and sticks were also very cheap. But I already have all the cards and sticks that I needed, so I didn't bought any. At the end I bought myself a Wireless Headphone which cost me RM50 for 2. Yes~! Buy 1 Free 1 for RM50. So the other one I gave to Romiko. It's running on RF and able to connect as far as 8m. Operate with AAA batteries or adapter. Able to receive Radio Frequency (yes~! portable FM radio).

I also bought Dual USB Joystick for my PC. I can not play my games with this joystick with my brother at home. Cool~! And I managed to haggle this item for just RM35. It's not Gola but it's similar and it's a whole lot cheaper. I had been looking for a pouch for my digital camera for quite some time. And I found this on sales for only RM10.

Meanwhile, Romiko bought two sets of WebCam for herself and her sister for RM68 each. It's 5M pixel resolution with auto face detection and auto focus feature is really good. But she was really upset when she saw another booth at the end of the hall selling the exact same unit for RM55. LOL~!!!

Since I bought a new joystick, I decided to get a new game to go with it (some sort like girls buying a pair of shoe after they bought a blouse, same theory~!!). So we went to Summit and I bought a game. Got home and the whole family was out shopping. So Romiko and I cooked spaghetti at home. Brother got home later and bought Big Apple Donut, Yummy~!!!

Weng Hing Kedai Kopi - Off Jalan Bukit Bintang

It was Sunday afternoon after leaving PC Fair in KLCC, Romiko, Bingy and me decided to have a late lunch and I had decided to go Weng Hing near Jalan Bukit Bintang. It's opposite the Honda Showroom. I had previously brought a few of my ex-colleagues and MD over to this place. You can park opposite the restaurant which is a open car park, which is normally fully park during weekdays.

Romiko had ordered Char Kuey Teow from one of the stall. It's not bad but the price is a bit pricey. Small for RM5.00 and big for RM6.00. Bingy and me had ordered Dried Pork Noodle with Extra Minced Pork. The place is famous this dish. You can see a lot of people queueing up to order from this stall. One of the best Pork Noodle I ate in KL. (RM7.00)The Sam Kang Chong which comes together with the noodle is really tasty. The soup is really nice too. There isn't much MSG in the soup so Bingy and I finished it up to the last drop. Nice~! The place is also famous for their Chang Jiang White Coffee. So 3 of us had ordered their white coffee. And it's truly a thirst cleansing drink. The coffee taste and milk is just nice. Not too sweet and not too coffee taste. Well maybe just a tit sweet at the last sip. (RM2.00)During weekdays, you can also find the place selling Egg Tarts at one of the stall. Their egg tart is also very famous around the KL area. It's small and freshly bake. So you can see a lot of people buying a dozen or two (like me) after their meal over here. During night time, there is a stall which sell Hokkien Mee which is very famous also. The price for the food over here might be quite expensive but it's located at Bukit Bintang, what do you expect? At least it taste good. (Rating : 4.0 out of 5.0)

Sumo Japanese Restaurant - USJ 10

As I am free after work today, so I asked someone to accompany me to have lunch. She had recommended this place as she had patronized this place a lot of time. So I thought why not? The place is located at USJ 10, Taipan. The name is Sumo Japanese Restaurant.
For the main course she had ordered the Chicken Karaage Set, which consists of fried crispy chicken with Japanese steamed white rice, salad and dessert. The chicken was really nice and crispy. But for those who don't like to eat too dry than this is not for you. (RM 12.90)
I had ordered their Chicken Teriyaki Set. Typical, I know. But I like my chicken with sweet sauce. So like the normal Teriyaki chicken, it comes with Japanese steamed white rice, salad and dessert. The Teriyaki chicken was nice and the sauce wasn't that sweet either. Not bad. (RM12.90)

For the side order, she had recommended their Butterfly Roll. The tempura inside was freshly fried so you can still felt a lil warmth in it and it is very crispy too. Just nice. (RM9.90) The second order was the Eel Avacado Roll. This was also recommended by her. The portion was quite sufficient for two of us. But according to her, the price for all the food had increased around 30% since 2 months ago. Well maybe due to the global oil hike recently. (RM8.90)All our set comes with our own Misou Soup. The soup were served before the meal. The soup was really nice. Either that, or I am damn hungry at that time. All together the meal was quite worth the travel and money. The ambiance was just nice. We have a long chat and left with an idea for a second visit soon. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)

Durian Durian Durian

Yesterday was a bit rushed as I was coming down from Semenyih (again) after an appointment for lunch with MD and SOS. The place was 1U. So I picked up LP and BQ on the way to meet with MD at 1U. Since no one know where to eat, so I decided to just go Delicious by Ms.Read.Finished lunch and sent the two sisters back to their respective office. Called up my customer for the appointment today and he told me that he was rushing out for another appointment. My gosh~! Then what's the point of making an appointment with him on the first place.

Anyway, Aldred called me up (lucky) and he suggested to meet up at Midvalley for tea. We had tea at the Nyonya shop which I ate some kuih lapis. Sweet~! Walked around and saw something which I wanna buy for my girl for her coming birthday. Nice~! Leave around 6pm but stuck in the stupid jam at the car park and also the way out. Speed my way through NPE and stuck in another jam at Sunway as a car broke down on the SS15 overhead bridge. Managed to arrived in Consplant at 6.45 and quickly went to changed my clothes.

Still managed to squeezed in on the 2nd track for Catherine's BB class. LP signalled me that she already placed the pumps for me. Darn~ and Josephine was replacing Jean's class that night. haha!!! Thanx again dear for placing the equipments for me. Finished K-Bear's BP class and I was all tired but still need to continued with her BC class. So here's some of the requested tracks which we did yesterday night:-

Finished the class and we went to minum at Canai @ 15 but not before CP suprised us with what he bought, Durian. Nice~! All of us ate on the side of the road outside Consplant. haha!!! Damn Jakun~! But super nice ~! Thanx again CP for the durian. But next time can bring more ar? I think LP not enough ler .. you know she eat durian with rice, right?!! haha!!!

Delicious by Ms Read - 1Utama

It was Friday noon and as usual, MD, SOS and me went for lunch. And this time, I had suggested Delicious by Ms. Read since none of them had tried it before. I had tried out the place a few times but it was last year. So there's a bit of changes on the menu. Those who know me, will definitely know what I'd ordered. Yup, Cabonara Sphagetti. The look was really nice with the thick sauce and bacon on top. But once you taste it, it lacks the cream taste which Cabonara sauce should have. But the portion was quite large.MD had ordered their Four Cheese Macaroni. Something wrong with the meal? Yes, the portion was really small compared to mine. But the scent and taste of the sauce was really strong. They wasn't kidding when they mentioned that it consists of 4 types of cheese.
As for my drink, I had ordered my all time favourite Death By Ice Chocolate. Yes, the name damn awesome, I know. But the taste did disappoint me compared to last time. LP ordered the same drink and she was quite famished after finishing her drink. BQ had ordered their Aglio Olio Sphagetti which is plain and simple as it's name. But it does tastes good with a lot of garlic in it. (Rating: 3.0 out of 5.0)

German Deli iMBiSS - Dataran Ara Damansara

I had planned to visit this place out after I read it on The Star paper early this week. It's a German restaurant selling sausages and burgers mainly. The way they prepared and served the food was said is the same as in German. So what the heck, I thought why not? The place is located at D-G-31, Block D, No.31, Jalan PJU 1A/20B, Dataran Ara Damansara. The owner is a German guy who migrated over to M'sia few years back and married a local Malay. So he's converted to Muslim. So obviously the place served HALAL food.

The decoration of the place looks like a fast food restaurant but it's not. There's menu on the counter and also on the table. So they will come over and take your order once you're ready. Or you can go to the counter to order for take away. They are strongly promoting their Bratwurst - original German sausage which they mentioned was all manufactured by themselves. They offers 10 types of sausages like Wigg's Thuringer and Garlic Chive Griller to name a few. They also served hot sandwiches like their famous Smoke Beef & Egg Omelet and Big-Biss Meatloaf. Cold sandwiches range from Gourmet iMBiS, Smoke Duck Breast and Russian Egg & Chicken. They also offers ala-carte like Grille Beef Steak and German Chicken.

I had ordered their Charbroiled Premium Burger - iMBiSS Hambuger Steak. It is served with 150grams of chopped beef in a soft bun, garnished with pickles Gherkin, onions and Special iMBiSS sauce. Well for me the bun is not that soft and the steak wasn't that warm too. Maybe they place over at the counter too long. The steak itself tasted quite OK and the sauce was nice. Portion wise, quite filling after you finishing the whole set. (RM 9.80) + (RM3.00 for french fries and drinks)I had helped Romiko to ordered their 'Jalapeno' Hamburger Steak. It's also served with 150 grams of chopped beef & sun dried Jalapeno Chilies in a soft bun, garnished with pickles Gherkin, lettuce, onions with Ranch dressing. I tastes both burger and to me it's almost the same except for the sauce. Don't really felt the Jalapeno chilies kicking in. But still it's just OK for me. (RM 9.80) + (RM3.00 for french fries and drinks)As we both ordered the set, so this is the French Fries which comes together with the set. But I still prefer the smaller fries like McD. The set also come together with a drink which we can choose from Ice Lemon Tea, Ice Peach Tea, Carbonated Drinks. It's not to say fancy but something different from the normal chicken or beef burger. But I still go back for McD anytime of the day. I will definitely try their sausages on my next trip over. (Rating : 3.5 out of 5.0)

Long Night @ OldTown

Yes~! I'm able to make it yet again for Jean's 5.45pm yoga class at Summit. MD was there and so ass the rest of the yoga kakis. Today's class was a bit tough as it's something like a strength class. Yesterday was Loo's last class in FF as he's gonna shift to California from August onwards.

After the yoga class we took a walk as usual waiting for Master T's class to start. Saw Master T in the locker and he asked me to choose Track 6. So I choose most of the tracks onwards. kekeke!!! So here's the run down of the list:-

Anyway, all of us went to Oldtown in Taipan for minum as Master T need to briefed us on the agenda for his wedding. Initially I was planning to leave around 10.30pm or earlier but one thing lead to another and I only managed to leave after 11pm. Need to go home early as mom cooked dinner for me and I need to sleep early as always.
