M'sia Best Hope for A Medal

After watching the quarter final against Indonesia's Sony Dwi Kuncoro yesterday, I had high hope for our nation's last hope, Lee Chong Wei for a medal in Beijing Olympic. He will face Lee Hyunil of South Korea in the last four scheduled for this evening at the Beijing University of Technology gymnasium. Rashid Sidek who returned with a bronze medal from Atlanta in 1996, was the only medal which we won from an Olympic event. So all the best for our shutter and make our nations proud. Malaysia Boleh!!!

Yoga to Dynamic Flow

I arrived in Summit quite early today as I had finished off my appointments quite early. Walked around and looked for something to buy. But didn't found anything interesting. So went back to gym and catch up with the news.

MD and me joined Jean's Yoga class as usual. But today's class was different as it is a 1 hour class. So we're doing Ashtanga Yoga. Boy I miss this class. It was quite tough since I haven't been doing Ashtanga for so long. Finished the class and decided to join Jazamine's Dynamic Flow. MD joined in with me and Darren was here too. Damn the class was tough. It started with breathing and goes into stances which prepares us for the final pose. The pose is call Eka Pada Galavasana or The Flying Crow Pose (see picture above).

We were so into the class that we forgot to noticed the time. When we realized it's already 7.50. So we left the class and changed our shoes. And managed to go in Master T's class from Track 2 onwards. Yes, I requested the whole tracks, so if I don't do the track, someone gonna kill me. haha~ So here's the run down of my playlist:-
  1. Apache Rock Bottom (couldn't joined in this track, wasted~!)
  2. Final Countdown (leg's still shaking from the previous class~!!)
  3. Fly Away (most the people like it)
  4. Jigga Jigga (boy I so regret requesting it at that time)
  5. Don't Stop Me Now (so miss this song)
  6. Leave Me Alone (slow and easy)
  7. The 6th Gate (yes~! we did the Summit's version of the chore)
  8. Crescendos of Estacy (Yes, we did it again today .. hehe!)
  9. Let's Get It Started (changed from We Got It Going as we're too exhausted)
  10. What Have You Done (Nice~~~~!!)

Didn't joined the rest for minum tonight as mom already reserved dinner for me and it's Chinese Hungry Ghost Day. So need to be back home as early as possible. No I am not superstitious but for the sake of my mom's advice.

Sate Kajang Hj. Samuri - Kajang

My lunch today with my colleague in Kajang, where else but Hj. Samuri. We had went over Satey Malaysia last month and wanted to try out this one. It's not my first visit as I had visited this place a lot of times. The place wasn't that crowded during lunch hour. Upper level were closed and will only open during night hours.

First came the sauce. This is what I like bout this place. They had separated their sauce into two. For those who doesn't like spice in their sauce, you can opt not to add the sambal sauce (top right) into the normal peanut sauce (below left). But I like my sauce as spicy as they can get, so I had added a lot into it. I had also ordered their side dishes, cucumbers, ketupat and a lot of slice onions. Here come the main course. I had ordered 10 sticks of Chicken, 5 sticks of beef and 5 sticks of lamb. Lamb was quite hard and the scent of raw lamb is still there. Beef was just alright but it's quite dry too. Chicken was alright. But not as much fat on the meat as I remembered. Maybe they are much more health conscience now. The whole meal cost me RM18 inclusive of drinks. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)

Carl's Jr - Sunway Pyramid

MD and me had planned to visit Carl's Jr for quite some time. And tonight is the big night. The place was really crowded (surprised) and we had to wait for some customers to leave for a seat. So many burgers on the counter wall that we need to browsed through it for a few minutes before deciding what to order. I had settled with their Portobello Mushroom Burger (left) and MD had selected their Bacon Swiss Crispy Chicken (right). When they say, picture may differ from actual size, they're weren't bullshitting. The above picture is the actual burger which we had ordered. Yes! Big difference. Maybe the taste is good? Well, MD's Crispy Chicken was really nice according to him. For my Portobello Chicken, well it's not bad then again nothing special bout it neither. It's almost the same as Burger King's Double Cheese Swiss Mushroom to me. And the price is half of what I am paying for Carl's Jr. Well it's my opinion anyway. But one thing for sure, it's better than Wendy's. The fries that come with the set is totally different from the one that we had in McD or any fast food outlets. It's potato's wedges slice into fries shape. They uses Heinz chilly sauce and you need to ask before they will hand it over to you. Drinks are refillable, so don't size up your set if you're not that hungry. They even have Channel Island Roasting Co. Coffee and Hot Tea for you to drink. Other than burgers, they do serve side dishes like Beef Chili Cheese Fries (famous), CrissCut Fries, Onion Rings and Fried Zucchini. They had salads, Desserts and also Ice Cream Shakes & Malts. (Rating: 3.5 out of 5.0)

Ouch.... Triceps Pain

Today as usual I managed to finished all my appointment after lunch. So meet up with Cindy for tea in Pyramid. Walk around scouting for some gifts. Left around 5pm as I need to be in Consplant for Briant's Body Step class. Today's class was OK only as the tracks was not that tiring. But the last power track was Tribal Dance, so the whole class was so ALIVE.

Continued with Darren's Body Pump class afterward and tonight's class is quite tough. We did Truly, Madly, Deeply for Squats, Think About The Way for Clean & Press (nice~!), Everybody Dance Now for bicep (surprisingly it's not as tough as I though), California for Triceps and Sweet Poison(is it correct??) for Chest. Bbut there's a lot of push ups here and there. So the whole class was really tough. My tricep was really hurting from yesterday night's class. But managed to finished the class in one piece.

Master T informed me that he's not teaching so Eugene replaced his class. MD, LP, BQ and me was the only usual suspect tonight. But we did have fun with Darren joining us. Nice~! Finished the class and 5 of us had a long chat outside before heading for minum session.

My New Gadget?

Was chatting with K-Bear this morning about handphones and this model came up in our discussion. It's SonyEricsson's new model, C905. It's coming out soon in the 4th quarter this year. But not sure if it will reach our shores by this year or not? But you can expect this baby not gonna come cheap. As it's packed with a lot of features and enhancement. Ok, drum roll .....So what's so hot about this handphone you may ask. Well for starter the 8.1Mega Pixel camera at the back spotting the CyberShot series will blast you away most definitely. It weight 136g which is slightly heavier than the normal handphone (which is around 110g and below). But what is a couple of grams right? For starter the display is 2.4" with 240 x 320 pixels. Running on 256K TFT (sad) with auto-rotate function. Internal 160MB (massive) and only support M2 memory card (sad). So what other neat function that we can look forward in this gadget? Well it's equiped with GPRS, EDGE (for Digi), 3G (HSDPA), Wi-Fi (Yes!!), Bluetooth, USB and GPS receiver (Sweet!). Xenon flash is a must for Cybershot cameras and this is not an exception. So you can expect clear pictures in during night shots. There is also some additional features like camera image geo-tagging & TV out which is a new in SonyEricsson's handphone. SE claimed battery life on standby up to 380hours and talk time up to 9hours. So you be the judge.

My Day Off

Today is my day off, and it felt so good. I still woke up early around 7.30am to read the news and browse the web. Follow up with the appointment today and liaised with my man for the site visit today. Chatted with BQ and LP and decided to have lunch with them since I have an engagement after lunch around the area. Ate at this place which I totally forgot the name. Food was nice, but I prefer BQ's Fish and Chip to my Spaghetti. Finished lunch and went for my appointment after sending BQ back. Went over SS2 to check out the SE's C902 handphone. It's selling around RM1450. Not bad but no point changing my phone now. Just kepoh only. Meet up with a friend and chat for a while before I head to Digital Mall to get some stuff. Cancelled my appointment with my stylist and went over to 1Utama for window shopping. Thinking of what to get for my girl for her birthday. Got some ideas and suggestion from some friends bout it. Just before I left, I saw some crowd gathering around Mac City and curiosity got the best of me. It's Eason Chan, so I whipped out my trusty camera and snap a picture of him. Off I go to gym and meet up with MD. Class was Ok with a lot of Deja Vu session. So here's the playlist for the night:-

  1. Stuck On You (Nice~~!!!)
  2. Action (no action one~!!)
  3. Luv U More (I know who requested it but it's OK)
  4. Take A Break (boring~~~!!!)
  5. Elevator (Deja Vu #1)
  6. That's Right (still OK)
  7. Hit 'Em (long time didn't do, nice~!)
  8. Heartbeatz (Deja Vu #2)
  9. Dance Floor Anthem (Deja Vu #3 but atleast it's not the modified version)
  10. Breath Easy (Deja Vu #4 but I still like the song)

After the tiring class I continued K-Bear's Body Pump class together with BQ. Thanx again for accompanying me, or else I won't be doing the class. The bicep was a killer. The rest was still OK for me. Bath and left the gym as I need to rush home for dinner. Yes I know, dinner so late after gym. But it's already pre-cooked, so I can't say NO.
