Running Nose

Damn~! I got a really bad running nose this morning. It comes and goes. That is the bad part. Or is it? Maybe I need to stay away from cold drinks and all. But what the heck, life is too short thinking what to eat and what not. Gonna have my breakfast now and lunch later with friend. Ya, I know. This thread is a bit meaningless, but heck, that's what blog is for.

Super Supper

Another lazy day for me. Went for gym early today to joined Body Step. Today's class was a bit low on the mood as the playlist was just so so. But I was all power up on the last power track (Final Countdown). Continued with Sue's Body Pump class. She did Miracle for me. lol~! Was a tough track tonight. Most of the tracks was from the 65 or 66 release. Tough class. It was a full 30+ members in the class. The central air condition was faulty tonight. So imagining us all sweating from the first track. Master T was late so have to rush for the class.

My gosh, I ate 1-1/2 Special Beef Burger with Cheese and 1 packet of Nasi Lemak Ayam. There goes my work out for the night. lol~! But like I always say, Eat Hard, Work Harder~!!!

The New Google Chrome

First we got Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Then came Netscape Communicator. Few months back Firefox Mozilla was introduced in the digital world and the newest to join the browser today is Google's Chrome. Yes, Firefox and Google was all along shares a good partnership but why the latter come out with their own browser? Well it's all about capturing the market which is now dominated by Microsoft giant Internet Explorer.

So what's so cool bout this new browser? I just downloaded it and now using it. They claimed that it's more faster than the existing I.E and also Mozilla and more stable. But I just tested it and didn't see any significant difference. They have this new favorite tab which displays all your most visited sites. Good? Well depends. Still testing the new browser in the office. Not gonna install yet at home as I am very satisfied with my Mozilla now.

Went for Shiling for lunch and went over D.J for Atria Stock Clearance. Got back and finished off the 4bia movie MD borrowed me. Finally I had managed to Buka Puasa for the first time this year. Yes, I went over K.J to tapou some (ok, a lot) Malay foods from the stalls. Had a very filling dinner with Romiko. A tired Sunday for me as I am slightly sick and lazy the whole weekend. Hopefully will be better tomorrow.

Piccadilly Restaurant - Millenium Tower

It was Saturday night and the rain was still pouring down like cats and dogs. We had dinner with Romiko's school mates last night. It's a post birthday dinner for her. So after some ding dong here and there, we ended up at a place called Piccadilly Restaurant at Millennium Tower. It's in Seksyen 14 in PJ somewhere behind the old abandon Cold Storage. Need to say that this is not my first visit here as I had been here since the first day they had opened 2 years back or so. But he place had changed a lot with some additional menu at the place. My eyes were going up and down when I looked at the menu which are filled with a lot of type of foods. For starter I had ordered their Cream Soup with Garlic Bread. The looked was not bad. Soup was definitely from a can of Campell soup. It's too watery. They added too much water to the soup. Garlic bread was really nice with a lot of butter and garlic but it's very soft. Maybe it's pre-prepared quite some time ago. (RM3)
At the end I had decided to have a Fettuccine Cabonara with Turkey Ham. The outlook was quite alright. Cream not that thick but still decent. Scent of cheese was a bit weird. I am not sure what type of cheese did that used. Turkey was tender and not dry. Pasta was cooked to perfection and not that hard. But overall it's just so so. There's a scent in the pasta which I can't describe, I think it's the cheese. I am not sure. (RM11)As for Romiko she had decided on their Grilled Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Sauce. The chicken was not bad and it's very tender. The sauce was normal. Coleslaw was really thick and nice. Fries is fried fresh when ordered so it's still hot. (RM8.80)
Before we entered the place we saw this Chicken Tandoori on the outside menu and it's so cheap and looked so delicious. So we decided to order one and try it out. To our surprised, it's not bad at all. The chicken was really soft and tender. The curry scent was just right with the mint curry at the side. Yes, that super green color thingy is the mint.(RM5)
What a filling dinner we had. The place was almost full at around 10pm and the place served beers too. So it's suitable for happy hour also. The music is nice and the price is really reasonable also. Wide range of varieties to choose, from Ulu Yam Loh Mee to Italian Pasta to Local Nasi Lemak to India Roti Naan and lots more. So don't worry if the place serve what type of food. You just worry what food to order when you saw the menu. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)

More Sales Sales & Sales

It was another crazy morning for me today as I woke up early to rushed over Jalan University for the annual Diethelm Stock Clearance. It's written 9.30am to 5pm but when I arrived around 9.10am, people were already leaving the place with bags of stuff they bought. I heard that they had already started the sales before 9am. My gosh~! The sales offers a lot of house appliances, personal care products, kitchen use products, food and beverages and more. I managed to get myself some stuff before I left for the other sales.Three bags of Ruffles cost me RM10, 6 limited edition M&Ms cost me RM10, 6pcs of OralB tooth brush cost RM5 and Darlie tooth paste with FOC clipper cost RM5. All together I spent around RM30 at this sales.
Next stop, Glenmarie in Shah Alam for Network Food Warehouse Clearance. The crowd was less overhere and not that packed. So it isn't that hard to get what I wanted and checking out the expiry dates. The place offers Van Houten chocolates, Crispy, Tango, Kandos to name a few. They are also selling tupperwares at super cheap prices and also wine glasses and accessories. 4 packs of Crispy for RM5, 2 big Crispy for RM5, 20packets of Van Houten Chocolate Drink for RM6, one Assorted Van Houten Chocolate for RM6, one can of Kandos Choclate for RM3 and 2 pc of Tupperware for RM1. Super cheap sales!!!
My last stop will be Hasbro Branded Toys Warehouse Sales in Shah Alam. This was a killer. The crowds were mostly adults surprisingly. So do they offers? Wide range of branded toys ranging from Transformers, Marvels, Indiana Jones, Starwars, Play Doh, Parker Brothers and most popular Monopoly. People were like buying in bulks of toys. You wouldn't believe the price they are throwing. People like me were madly waiting for them to replenish the stock for the mini monopoly sets. Some ladies were shouting and dragging and all. Imagine 3rd world country people reaction when they saw the UN giving them milk and breads. Yes, it was that havoc. haha~! Luckily I managed to get myself 2 sets of the limited Monopoly sets. It's only RM10/set. Nice~!!
So here is the whole lot that I had spent for the day. Yes, a lot of food. My fridge was full with my food and drinks already since I had moved back last week. haha~! I did passed by Padini Warehouse Clearance in Glenmarie before heading to Shah Alam. I was super shocked to see the super long queue (around 1KM long) and the traffic congested due to the heavy vehicles blocking the roads. It's that crazy!!
