I was out grocery shopping just now with my girl at a nearby hypermarket. So when I was about to go to the counter to pay, I saw something annoying. OK let me fill you in with the scenario over there. All the lanes are really busy with lots of people queuing up to pay their groceries. There were about 3 people in front of me with whole lots of grocery to pay. That is less of my worries.
So as we were chatting while waiting for our turn, we saw this mid 60s uncle moving his trolley in front of our queue. OK, to put it simple, he was cutting queue. WTF! I am not sure if he realize that or not, but there is 1 more people behind me. I was waiting for the auntie in front of me to say something as women are more sensitive about this kind of matter. But she was just standing there talking to her friend. WTH???!!!
The uncle then acted like nothing was wrong with his act and just position himself in front of us all, right under our eyes. He was with his grandchildren. I am not sure if we should let this slide as he was a senior citizen and all. But if he would only ask or at least give some sign of cutting in, we would definitely oblige to gave him the spot. As if the long queue wasn't enough to tick me off the uncle's moves really tip the ice berg for me.
So coming back to my question, is it OK for him to do that? Am I too sensitive? One of the thing that I hate most during a long queue is cutting queue. He's old and all but still it's manners to ask before taking, right? And it's not a good example shown to the younger generation too. What will it reflect to them when they saw that? We can just simply cut queue and act as if it's OK. Typical Malaysian. Sad~!

OK... chill... I am more interested in the main question... Did you allow him to cut? =)
I would have gently tell him that there is a line .... It s not a mater of whether he is senior or so...
Like I mentioned, he already aligned himself into the line and nothing much could be said or done by that time. Sigh~!!!
I would like to call him off but I am worried that it would seemed that I am disrespectful to senior citizens. KNS~!
for me, i will just said : Uncle, you eye got stamp isit ? You dint saw people already Q up....lol
Just voice out lah, BKLTL mah....
Then if uncle reply: Young boy, you cannot just let old uncle in mer? I cannot stand so long ler. You want to bully old uncle here is it?
That time, all the people will look at me and I ma DIE standing la~!!!
then you should reply him : old man, I just follow the Q, or else you want your grandchild learn from your bad attitute /?
then uncle will put his right hand on his heart and left hand on his forehead. Pretending to faint and having a heart attack.
I sure kena ban from the place. haha!!
Drama la you 2... =P
If that could happen in a movie, trust me it could happen to you.
Where do you think they (producers) came out with the idea anyway, right??!!
if that uncle heart attack, ask him go a side dun block the way....lol
Later the children make funny face at you while pointing at you shouting, Sui Yan!!! (Bad Guy!!)
Than whole area also know your cat face already .. haha!!!
old doesnt mean can cut Q suka-suka hati!! when my mood is ok that time, then i will leave him cut my Q. if my mood not ok, sure he kena taruk from me liao.
well, bottom line, depend on my mood, kekeke!!
True ... totally agreed with you bro. It's all in the mood at that time. We can say anything right now but come down to that time, if I am in a hurry or he's plain 'Yong Sui' sure kena from me also. kakaka~!!
