I had a cup of coffee this morning, another cup during an appointment before gym and my usual cup of coffee before my first class of the night. And all I had for lunch (or any food of the day) is just a bowl of noodle. I didn't think much of it at the beginning. I know I was a bit hyper during Brian's Body Step class (due to the caffeine I assume) but I was so darn fatigue during Sue P's Body Pump class. I was practically struggling during Summer Rain and Car Wash. I think I didn't need too much energy during Body Step as it mostly cardio but Body Pump class requires a lot of energy from the weights that I am carrying. Does that make sense? I assume so. K-Bear, please clarify. Can't believe that I had already burned more than 4154kcal from this two days of gym.
Since Master T went for oversea for two weeks, so I'd quickly registered myself for Brian's RPM class. Before the class my head was spinning and light footed walking in. But once I sat on the bike, the game is on. Giving it my 110% tonight as I know RPM won't burn as much as Body Combat class (for me). Was doing my own option during Track 5 onwards. Giving my all during the final track, Blade. All the way standing climb and my heartbeat hit 96% during the track. Totally satisfied with the whole class. Didn't go for supper and quickly drove home. Damn hungry and was looking for food. Stop by Giant & King's Confectionery but didn't found anything to eat. Walk to the stalls outside my house and again managed to psycho myself not to eat anything. At the end, cooked myself a bowl of Maggie.
Personal Note: BS: 584kcal; BP: 460kcal; 703kcal

LOL... No wonder you were searching for my name on MSN la, nak clarification kan?
Ok... The reason was .......
"NOT enough FOODS la dude!"
Caffeine ah? I think the amount was okay.. Then again, that is MY standard.
Hello my dear... One bowl of noddles, and you want to sustain the whole day plus three classes? No way la.. Please eat well, do not starve yourself. Metabolism rate will drop when one start starving the body, and directly the amount of calories burned in hours of workout will drop. In a more layman term - Waste of time for the workout then. okay?
Another bad thing will be.. start getting the glucose from your muscles, aka burning off your muscles.. I assumed you do not wish to see that happen too? So, eat well, cut the portion, jaga what you eat, but EAT.
FYI, the bowl of maggi mee made up all the FAT and SODIUM that you tried to avoid.. Stop eating maggi mee. :))
oh.. one more... Without enough foods = no energy = no strength in pump. and yes, with the usual weights that you are carrying, it does require lot of energies.
Okay?
Clarify in the term of why I am energetic in BS and not BP. But anyhow, I get what you said. Well I always had a big lunch but it was K-Lunch yesterday and we all ordered curry laksa only. lolx
Thanks for the clarification again. Who say I need to pay a PT to get all this info. I got my own nutritionist. lolx
ok... Reason? Because... BS was the first class, and you ate too little, so after the first class, energies drained.
Also , BS, RPM, BC etc - more cardio works, energies demanding- yes; BP - on top of cardio training in big muscles, demanded strength and power of the muscles too.. So, it is all together similar (as Cardio based Group X) but different.
Does it explain better?
I still think that BP is more on resistance rather than cardio. I know all the GX classes are focus on cardio but when I am pushing 10kgs during Chest, I feel pain on my chest and not increased hear rate.
I think my heart rate will only increase during Lunges & Shoulder track which requires a lot of intervals and push ups.
JUST one more..... Who said is Free? LOL....
Pay me back... in... go "bang the table" and get my larling his iphone ASAP.. He shy to do that la, you know la..
LOL
Whatever written in here is F.O.C lolx
Aiyo~ Why always need to bang the table to get things done. You can always ask your larling to use the softer approach. lolx!!!
yes yes...
Of cos Pump is about resistance training, One should feel the heart rate going up in big tracks like Squat/back/ and sometime lunges.
Ya, I understand the theory of when you are using more energy, you heartbeat tends/should beat more faster.
But the beating is not that long (period). So actually I don't really burn that much. Rather I shape up my muscles more. :)
My 30mins SS session in the studio burns more than one whole session of BP sometimes. And we did Send Me An Angel last night. Damn my shoulder hurts!!!!
Soft Approach, even tougher for him. He has HUGE man ego to show his soft side.. hahaha...
lolx ... that is so true! HUGE man ego to show his softer side. So ironic!!
cannot help him much on this la. even my brother need to wait for the stock to come in. but he can try asking around the center and try to bribe them. lolx
