No.1 Nasi Lemak - SS2

Guess what's for breakfast? You can guess from the above picture that I had nasi lemak for breakfast just now. This has got to be the best nasi lemak I had in P.J. It had been a while since I last visited the place as it's located opposite the SS2 police station. It's at the corner away from the petrol station. You can't miss it, you will see a long queue at this stall every morning. My first visit was 6 years ago during my first stint in PJ.

Yes, their food will be sold out around 10.30am every morning. Business is really that good even on Puasa day. Proof? Well here's the status of their dishes when I arrived just now around 10am. Their fast moving dish is the bottom left chicken curry. I don't really fancy that but it's the No.1 dish over there and also their squid. They also offer fried chicken (so-so), beef and also cockles.

So as usual, I had my beef curry with mix curry sauce with extra peanuts and anchovies, eggs and cucumber. This is what I called a filling breakfast. This is how we Malaysian eat our nasi lemak. lol~! This is how it looks like before unwrapping it.

Here's how the nasi lemak looks like after unwrapping it. Super delicious and mouth watering nasi lemak. I need to really do some extra cardio and resistance classes this week or for a matter of fact from this week onwards. lol~! The nasi lemak cost me RM5. Not expensive I guess for a morning breakfast. I added extra rice somemore. Highly recommended for those who like to eat nasi lemak minus the spice in it. Yup, their sambal not that spicy, hence you can see a lot of chinese customer at this stall. They're close every Sunday. (Rating: 4.2 out of 5.0)

3 hours? Possible? Yes!!

For those who know, I had to travel down South to JB. Problem with the company car and at the end I had to drove down with my car. In other word, I need to drive all the way down while my man rest asleep the whole journey. What kind of world is this? lol~! Managed to reached JB within 3-1/2 hours. That was fast??!! Got lost for almost an hour looking for the customer's factory. Meeting was fruitful I assume. Discussed with my man and decided to drive back after the meeting. So I drive another 3 hours (progress) back up to my office. I was super sleeping while I was driving down this morning and had a few close call before Malacca.

Reached my office and dropped my man off. Called up the sick girl and since I'm nearby, picked her up for dinner. Reached home around 8pm and checked on Coco. My gosh~! He hurt his leg. It's swollen with a bit of blood. I think he got bullied yesterday while he's out. Sad~!

HaPpY BiRtHDaY My BaBe

Happy Birthday to my dear girlfriend, Romiko. Yes, today it's her BIG BIG day~! Sadly I need to work today as I got list of appointments to settled before I leave the company. So she was home waiting for me to come back. Managed to finished off my appointment early and went back to see her. Decided to have dinner outside when I got a message from MD. At the end, Romiko, me, MD, LP and CP went for TTDI's Claypot Loh Shi Fun. We had a tons of food and almost couldn't finished off the noodle. Sent Romiko back to BKT as she need to work tomorrow. Drove back to Uptown to join the rest for minum at Oldtown. Yes, it's oldtown again. We had contributed a lot of money to both Canai Cafe and also Oldtown this year alone. lol~! Long drive down South tomorrow, so need to rest early.

Formosa @ Asian Avenue

It's Saturday night and we're looking for something to eat in Pyramid and we think of eating Shi Ling at the Asian Avenue. But on the way there, we saw this new place called Formosa. It's selling the same (well almost the same) dish as ShiLing. So we tot, why not?So we sat down and ordered (self-service) an Oyster Mee Sua, Sour n Spicy Soup, Hot Crispy Chicken and one Bubble Tea. Let's get down to business now. The Mee Sua is totally different from ShiLing. There were no oyster scent in the Mee Sua. The oyster were also small and little. But they did put in some "Golden Mushroom" and onion oil so that the scent of onion oil is very strong. It's OK but can't really compared to ShiLing la~!!! The Soup n Spicy Soup was really something refreshing. It's spicy but not that sour. There were some sour cabbage in it and also some mix veges like carrots and tomatoes. OK la~! ShiLing dun have this dish so nothing to compare.

The Crispy Chicken was really BAD!!! The taste was no good as there were no spice at all and there were BONES in the chicken. Yes~! BIG FREAKING BONES!!! Damn! even Uncle Bob from Pasar Malam tasted better. The bubble was their special for the month. Nothing special. Just plain ol bubble tea. But they have this Taiwanese Rice Burger which seem to be interesting. Will definitely try this out next time. Hehe~! The price is the same as ShiLing which is RM 5.50 nett!! Where's My Card?

Monday and I am not working. How cool~! I love my country. lol~! Went online and booked a tickets for Money No Enough 2 at 1Utama. Went out to grab some food at 1Utama before the show and some light shopping. On the way to collect the tickets from the Kiosk machine when I realized that I forgot to bring my credit card. Damn~! I left it on my table. So I walked over to the counter and explained and the good man do me a favor and finally I got my tickets and the rest was history.

Finish watching the movie and went to SS2's night market. It's really been ages since I was here (night market). It's nice and the weather isn't that hot either. Managed to grab some food along the way. Sweet~! Almost time for supper with Cindy they all. So drove over Canai Cafe (yes, we can't escape from this place even on holidays). Meet up with Cindy, Aaron, QQ, KNSQ, Ashley, Wanie, Master T and Jac for some good laugh. What a tiring but yet enjoying packed day. Tomorrow back to work but I am all refresh from the long weekend. Sweet~!

Money No Enough 2

Finally I managed to booked tickets for the movie Money No Enough 2. The previous episode was 10 years back and if I am not mistaken that was the first Singapore movie I watched. So I am entering the cinema with high expectation for a good laugh. The three main character, Jack Neo, Henry Thia and Mark Lee is back again.

The movie revolves around issues of Singaporean thought of their government who are like blood suckers to brotherhood and finally family values as usual.
The oldest brother Yang Bao Hui (by Henry Thia) represents the lower income group. The second brother Yang Bao Qiang (by Jack Neo) portrays a well-heeled successful businessman. The youngest brother Yang Bao Huang (by Mark Lee) represents the ordinary middle working class.

Due to some unfortunate events all the three brothers suffer financial crisis and all hell breaks loose. This is where we see the real humans behavior when they are faced with crisis and all have their own priorities. So who do they choose? Family? Career? Brotherhood? The story really reflect in our daily life and we do hear about this story from somewhere before. So it's really touching. It's not just about laugh but seeing the morale that we learn from beginning till the end. (Rating: 3.8 out of 5.0)

Moving Back To PJ

It's Sunday morning and it's the big day. Yes, I had decided today it's the day to move back to my old house in P.J. So woke up and packed up all my stuff. Boy, I am starting to regret packing so much over in the first place. The most troublesome to carry was my desktop. But luckily it's a LCD. I had managed to packed everything and placed it in my car which is full at that time. Reached home and unpacked. This is another long process as I need to sweep and mop my room. Managed to settled everything within an hour.

Looked at the time and I thought of bringing my girl out for her pre-birthday dinner at 1Utama. Initial plan was to go Elcerdo but due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had decided to go 1Utama for some Japanese food and maybe catch a movie along the way. But we didn't managed to get the tickets so we came out with some ideas.

So I had bought 1 large and another regular pizza at Domino on the way home. Put on a love movie and we're all set. We watched 'What Happens In Vegas' and 'You Don't Mess With The Zohan' while munching away the pizza with the comfort of my own house. I did told someone before that I am a very practical guy and for me, a good dinner doesn't mean going to
some fancy restaurant and spend hundreds of ringgit. It doesn't matter what we're doing or where we plan to do it but it's the companion that we are with. (yes, I know it's corny~!) Actually both of us agreed on the plan and we really enjoyed our self. It's just something that I would like to share with my friends.
