Now You Know Why It Happens

There's always something funny happening around us. Your work place, restaurants, cafes, gym and for me it happened in a bank. I had just collected my claim for the month and was depositing it into my account. So here's the scenario. I was double parking outside the as it was a busy area. So you can imagine me limping over to the bank quickly behind the someone honk on me.

So while I was queuing up to bank in the cheque, I saw something funny or rather weird. There was this guy in front of me trying to bank in some cheques. He was punching the account numbers and the amount and finally when it was time to slip in the cheque something happened or rather something didn't. I heard this beep beep sound coming out and an error on the screen. He didn't really know what was happening. But I noticed that the cheque was not going in entirely.

So I pointed to him that something was wrong with the cheque. And when he finally managed to get the cheque back out, I noticed that the orientation of the cheque was wrong when he inserted it in. And hence the machine was not accepting it. So what happened next? The whole machine hang. OMG~!!! Now I know why there were so many machines being 'offline' all the time. And the funny part was, he didn't know that it was his action that caused this problem. And he was complaining to me that the machine hang. Duh~!!!! So I went to the next machine and quickly made my deposit and finished in less than 1 minute.

I Sprain My Leg AGAIN!!!

The whole day started off quite well for me along with a great lunch in the middle and when I was about to finish the day off, my leg got twisted again. Yes, I sprain my leg again. The last time was about half a year ago. And this is the same leg as before. This is not the first time my leg got sprain. I think it's due to the lack of attention on the leg when it was sprain previously.

So I was limping from my car to my office and back home. But not before going to the night market to get some cookies for myself and Giant for Coco's food. Tonight's dinner is plain simple as I had a very fattening lunch. Hopefully my leg will get better tomorrow and I can still join tomorrow's classes.

Restaurant Soo Kee

This place was recommended by one of my friend. And she had just happened to just post a blog on this place last week. So when I saw the place served good Char Siew and from her recommendation, I wouldn't miss this for the world (OK, a bit too dramatic). The place is located along Jalan Ampang. It's opposite Kerrys for those whose familiar with the area. But it's being block by the flyover bridge coming down from Cheras side. You can park your car at the back of the restaurant or at the end but some people park outside the restaurant which I felt was a bit dangerous.

Let's get into the main dish which was the Siew Yuk. I had ordered half lean half fat and end portion of the pork. That's where the juicy sweet portion is. The pork really melts in your mouth. I am not kidding you. When I read bout this I was quite sceptical but it's true. Something different from what I had before. But I like my pork with a bit of texture where I can really sink my teeth into it and chew on it. Taste was a just nice but I prefer mine more sweeter.

This is the Siew Yuk which I ordered together with the Char Siew. It's also half lean half fat and tasted quite nice. Although the top layer is not to the extend of crunchy level, but it's still juicy and nice. It's felt a bit like something from my hometown. Something different from what I had in the city.

Other than both the above dishes, they also served chicken and duck. But since I was alone, it's quite odd for me to order all four. So what's my verdict? Well this is definitely something above average Char Siew on par with Meng Kei but I still preferred my Tian Hong anytime of the day. The restaurant closes every Monday. So what's the damage? Well similar to the above mentioned places, it's RM8.30 inclusive of one herbal tea. If you're some where around Ampang, do drop by and have a try. (Rating: 4.0 out of 5.0)

Not Again ...!!!

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. That is Newton's law of physics. I believe it's the same in life. I am feeling really good on Monday but was really down during gym. While at gym yesterday, I was really in tip top condition. Why this seemed to sound so familiar??? Even on Brian's Body Step class, I was giving it my all and was really energetic. But the most important was the motivation and the explosion from within.

Sue wasn't able to teach last night as she was sick. So Darren was called in to do the replacement. I need a good work and a good work out is what I get. Fully energize from track 1 till the last track and even did all the options. Did I ate something before the class? I just took my lunch and that's all. Saw Master T's name was on the board. But I remembered that Jac told me that he'll be back only on the 13th which is last night. So I doubt he will teach on that day.

Nevertheless, members kept going in and standing there waiting and waiting. When finally they (front desk) confirm that he's not coming. OMG~! Not again. I can't recollect how many time the GXC screwed us up already by now. I lost count. Some members filled in a complaint form bout the incident while some were going home really pissed. As for me, I did 2-1/2 class last night. Why the 1/2 class? Well I came early and did a half an hour of pump class on my own using the tracks from my handphone. Yes, SS in the studio while waiting for the class to begin. Yes, I was that motivated. lol~!

And Streamyx managed to screwed up my internet line again last night. Hence I can't post a blog last night but managed to catch up on my dramas. Thinking bout my makan session tomorrow at Ampang. Yummy~!!!

It's Just One Of Those Day ....

I am having one of those days again. Not that motivated to do any classes tonight. My first class was Riyo's Body Step class. The class was packed even if it's a 5.30 class. This shows that time doesn't really matters as long as the instructor is really good. I was feeling better during this class and was giving my all. Class finished and I took a walk and catch a nap while waiting for the next class.

Wasn't that motivated to do Master C's class tonight. Maybe due to my body's metabolism had saturated. But as usual it was a good work out with Janis shadowing. Continued with K-Bear's Body Pump class later on. At this point I was really down and not motivated to do any more classes but since I really need the exercise just grab the bars and weights. As I mentioned before, track 1 wasn't that motivating compared to the previous releases. Nearly walk out of the class for the squats track. But managed to pull myself together and got through the track with a lesser weight compared to my usual.

At the end of the class, I was really sweating and it was a really good work out. There is a new guy TT'ing with K-Bear. BTW, you didn't mentioned his name, and you just called him your BOY the whole class. So do we referred to him as your BOY? lol?!!! For a newbie he's pretty good in his techniques, vocal and motivation factor. Went back after class as I don't have much mood for anything else. Hopefully I will get better tomorrow.

Will You Send Your Children Here?

Something which I saw on my way home. Well OK, Romiko saw with me and ask me a question about the banner. She read out the advert in banner above and ask me if there's anything funny. I got the joke and I guess those who can read Chinese should be able to know what I mean. How can they teach students when they can't even get their language correctly?? Odd.

Congratulation Colin & Guat Eu

Two major agenda for the day. First was breakfast and house hunting with my brother. Second is attending my schoolmate, Colin's wedding. I knew this is going to be a tiring day for me as I would need to rush back and forth Puchong and PJ. But it's 3 weeks since I last saw my brother's family so I thought what better time.

Had brunch with my brother and SIL before heading to Puchong to check out some new properties. Not bad, we're quite interested in this new property at Putra Prima. It's coming out this coming March. Hopefully this is going to materialize this year for me. My major resolution for 2009.

Went over to my brother's friend's house at Kemuning Utama to check out his house. Very nice and cozy. Plus he found some real good contractors for his renovation and damn cheap too. Definitely gonna look for him next time for my house. Headed home for a rest after a long day. Just have 2 hours for me to take a nap and freshen up before heading to Cyberjaya.

It's my first visit to Cyberview Lodge. Managed to locate the place with the help of the road sign. My good sense of direction did help a lot too. hehe~! It was a really nice wedding event with the vows exchanging being done out door surrounded by friends and relatives. The enviroment and also facilities at the lodge was really nice. Since it's a spa and resort too, you can imagine the scenery outside the ballroom was so amazing.

But the big surprised for us all was the punctuality of all the guest. It was a 7.30pm dinner and we started at 7.45pm. This is because most of the friends and relatives came early for the outdoor session. Or maybe cause their Christian fellowships and hence their more punctual?? But one thing for sure, it's a nice dinner. Menu was simple but really nice. Since their doing a Church theme, hence no beers and liquor. The menu was slightly different from our normal Chinese dinner but it was well prepared and this definitely an option for me in the future. Last but not least, I just wanted to congratulate Colin and Guat Eu and best wishes on their new life together.
