Finally Chronic Dev Team had decided to release their JB tool codename, Greenpois0n. Their initial plan was to released on 10.10.10 @ 10:10:10 GMT but Geohot surprised everyone by releasing his own Limera1n one day earlier. This resulted in the Chronic Dev Team to redo their Greenpois0n by reserving the SHAtter exploit for now. Everyone had thought that the Chronic Dev Team would wait for the next iOS update only to release their Greenpois0n but they decided to release it now. The Greenpois0n also able to jailbreak iOS 4.1 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G iOS 3.2.2 for iPad.
Greenpois0n only jailbreak your iDevices running on iOS 4.1 so for those with lock phones, please do back up your 4.1 baseband using Tiny Umbrella or SHSH blob from Cydia. They can use Ultrasnow to unlock their phone after jailbreaking it. You can download the new Greenpois0n tool at this site. Again, let me remind you that JB your phone will void it's warranty. So do go with caution and back up your data beforehand. Greenpois0n now only work on Windows while Mac user would have to wait for the time being. Enjoy~!
