It's All Coming Back To Me Now ....

I was a slightly late for Step class yesterday as I was shopping for my grocery before I went over Consplant. Was thinking if I can't make it for 6.30pm Step then I would do 6.50pm Balance class. When I arrived they were already doing track 2 so I just sneak in and get a step board and do. As usual, class was low intensity and not much mood to do but nevertheless it was a 1 hour full class compared to Brian's Tuesday which is a 45mins class.

Continued with my pump class and I got a feeling that we (or rather I) would be hearing some familiar tracks from Monday class. But luckily K-Bear changed some of the tracks and it was a good work out class at the end. Not much trouble to finish the class and wasn't that tired too. Yes, my squats are getting better. Continued with combat class as usual and I went in with full stamina, and I had only one lunch today. I was still energetic till the very end of the class. Yes, my stamina is coming back to me now. lol~!

Had a long minum session after that discussing on the venue for my birthday dinner. Hey thanx again guys for celebrating with me in advance and extra gratitude to my bro, MD who organize it this time around.

Sharp Pain On The Elbow

Lately my left elbow is giving me some problem. Problem as in sharp pain when tension is on the arm. I had these pain during warm up of pump class and now yoga. I think it's due to the clean & press that I did for the class. The pain started around 1 month ago. And it just escalated slowly from there. I think I need to cut down on cold drinks for starter and try to take more Ca & Mg.

Anyway, just found out from Jean that there is a new Yoga establishment on the 10th floor of Summit. It's a new place own by a couple where half of the place is run by the foreigner husband for his business while the other half by the Indonesian wife for yoga classes. It's now in the process of renovating the place. There is 3 studios over there and according to Jean the place had some really nice view of USJ and Subang Jaya from the studios. And the showers are and I quote "to die for". lol~!! She will most probably be taking up some classes over there and that means giving up FF as the they do not appreciate yoga instructors that much.

There were some new students joining combat tonight and some return newbies from last week. Damn my chore was out tonight. lol~! It was a nice work out overall and we did sweat it out except for BQ who was so dry at the end of the class. lol~!!! After class had some drinks and heard some startling news. Called my resource to verify the authenticity and found out that it's not what we all guess. haha~! What a long night.

Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Rakugaki Limited Edition

Was browsing online for some tiger when I saw their new series, it's called Onitsuka Tiger Rakugaki. Rakugaki in Japanese means scribbled, which I think what the Mexico 66 (bottom) and Samatores (top) looks like. If I am not mistaken both are limited edition series so I don't think that we can get or even see one locally, unless you bought it oversea or online. Google it online and found out that it's selling US199.99 for a pair. For me, I prefer the Mexico 66 Rakugaki. How I wish to have a pair for my birthday. haha!!

I See The Signs

Finally my first 3 back to back classes after the long holiday. Damn I was excited, even came early and do some warm up on the weight. Brian's class was pack tonight. It was a very powerful class or was I tired? Legs were shaking during the lunge track, 1st sign. Damn it. But still managed to finish the class in one piece.

Continued with Sue's class and it's as usual, it was full house. Cut down on my squats weight to get my technique right this time. Was doing Summer Rain and my hand were shaking around half of the track, 2nd sign. WTH? Did I mistakenly put on some extra weight for the chest track? Nope, it's my usual weight but why does it feel like it's so much heavier tonight. Even during Olympia my arm were a bit shaky. California and Car Wash was alright for me. Come to lunges, my legs were shaking again.,3rd sign. Can felt some pain on my injured ankle. Damn it. Shoulder track was a killer with so much push ups. At the end of the class, I was really exhausted. More exhausted than I normally do, 4th sign.

Master T class was also full tonight and we did some really old tracks that we discussed last Thursday. My body was totally powerless even during the warm up, 5th sign. Jab and shuffle were totally powerless. I was really tired. The whole class was a long strenuous journey for me tonight. Big surprised when we did Dance Floor Anthem, my god!!! But still going for my normal option and managed to finish the whole class in one piece but damn tired. This is what one week of holiday will do to me. I think my lower body is weaker so need to train more.

Thinking Positively

I had one bad day today. It all started when I was running late for a breakfast appointment with my ex-colleague with my babe at Pyramid. So stop by my house to pick up my babe. But once I wanted to start my car, nothing happened. Huh? Turn the ignition again, same thing. Fark~! Turn turn turn but still the same. Suspect is the battery so use my jumper cable to get some 'power' from Romiko's car. Still the same. Fark~!! What happened. Seemed like something wrong with my timing belt but I'd just changed it 2 months back. Could it really be that bad?

The workshop next to my house was closed so no luck getting help there. So walk up further a bit to another workshop who specialize in Mercedes cars. The fella saw my jumper and said it was too thin and used his thick cable to jump start. Turn ignition key and my car start to come alive. Hallelujah~! Asked Romiko to go ahead with the appointment as we were late close to 30mins already. Found a shop selling battery and drove my car in and get a new battery. Rm230 burnt. But thinking back, I was lucky that my car didn't broke down inside my company's basement rather outside where someone can check on it. So it's not all bad actually come to think of it. Or is it?

Drove my car to my authorize workshop and have my car service as that was my initial plan. Send car service and meet up for breakfast and collect my car afterward. My ex-colleague came over to pick me up and off we went to Pyramid. Workshop called saying break pad need to be changed, hold on to your horses. Put it back I told him. Don't change anything just do the normal service. Too expensive to get the spare parts from the place will go Segambut to get the parts more economical. Another RM150 burnt. Sigh!

Still Struggling

Today is the first day of work after the long holiday. No meeting but I did submit my weekly report. Stayed in the office the whole day with the whole colleagues. Was discussing what the market will be with the news of industrial sector being down sized and all. It's gonna be a tough tough year for us all. Finished the day and drove to The Curve for gym. Found a short cut cutting through the housing area in Uptown beating the jam on the main road. Woo Hoo~! Me and my sense of direction.

I was listening on the new radio 88.1 FM where they are talking bout how blur are ladies drivers and all. A lot of ladies did called up and said that they are not the only one blur and some were really rough and brave speeding through the traffic like some guys. OK, if you ask me, majority were blur drivers. This from my 10 years of driving experience on the road. I was turning into the car park while listening to it and I saw a black Honda City driving up from the entrance heading to me. WTF!!! No money for guessing what is the gender of the driver. Yes, it's a girl. Damn kau blur~!

Managed to make it early for class and have a walk looking for a perfume for myself since my CK Eternity Summer L.E is gonna finish soon. I had my eye on the new CKIn2U but the promoter recommended me the new Bvlgari for men which was really nice and so is the price. Asked some friends and they too agreed that Bvlgari is better. Bvgari selling 100mL @ RM295 whereas CK 100mL @ RM200. Hopefully someone saw this post and decided to buy one for me for my coming birthday. lol~!!!

Body Combat class was packed as usual and we did some really predictable tracks, well at least for me. But it was a nice class. I think Master C class is getting more informative. Some improvement on the explanation and slowing down the pace. But still intense. Good work out. My stamina really wasn't back as I wasn't able to jump that much during Track 7. Damn it. Continued with K-Bear's class and I know it's gonna kill me tonight. So cut down on my squats weight as I wanted to correct my techniques. Some predictable tracks but as always when I heard you say that we did the same song for just now for clean & press, sweats is running down my forehead, What Hurt The Most. Damn it~! Bicep was really tough with Eye of The Tiger. Finished the class and K-Bear gave me some feedback on my techniques. Thanx again dear. A very tiring night for me. And tomorrow are 3 classes on a row, god bless me!

John King @ 1U

Was walking with my my friend at 1Utama today and stumble upon this place. It's not new but it was my first time seeing it. The place is called John King a.k.a Food Tart King from Hong Kong. I heard one of my friend mentioned bout this place few months back.

As you can see, sales is good as most of the tarts are sold out or production was really slow. Their price ranges from RM1.60 to RM2.00 and the egg tarts are lard free so it's suitable for Malays and Hindus also. Yes, it's even stated on the paper bag.

As the name goes, it's famous for their tart which consists of the Original, Egg White Milk, Coffee, Green Tea, Corn, Red Bean & Durian Cookie Egg Tart. Other than egg tarts they also have Chicken and Pork Puff also. I did heard that they sell HK's Lou Po Peng but didn't saw any on display.

This is the chicken & mushroom puff which I bought. The skin is soft and just nice. Chicken and mushroom inside were cold but I think if it's hot and fresh this should be a very good puff. But still it's very nice to eat. RM3.80

This is the original cookie egg tart. Outlook is like a normal egg tart we found everywhere so maybe it's special on the inside. Since it's lard-less so I assume the taste should be a bit different and I was right. The tart lack the taste of the egg and the scent of the cookie too. A bit disappointed on the tart. RM1.80

I heard from friends who been to HK that this is a must order so I have high hopes on this one. It's the Egg White Milk Tart. This is way better than the original I had. Scent and taste is just right. I can really taste the milk and egg on the tart. Go for this one rather on the original one. RM1.90

Will definitely try out the green tea and corn on my next stop over. Hopefully it's too taste good like the egg white milk tart. Both the coffee and green tea cost RM2.00 while the corn cost RM1.90. The place is located at the Lower Ground somewhere around Lou Chang Kee and the food court. Shouldn't be too hard to locate. Rating: 3.5 out of 5.0
